We just moved to town and were having some car issues. Its rare to find your go-to mechanic on the first try, but we did. Anthony is amazing: patient, responsive, a great listener. These are very honest people who give you good advice and want your car to work well. He made service a breeze and worked with us around our schedule. Just a great experience (and who says that about taking their car in for service?!).

My friend recommended me to come to this dealership to buy a new car & not many car dealers get 4.5 stars in Yelp. We ended up buying a Toyota Venza for a good price. Highly recommended Eddy for his professionalism, car knowledge and hospitality which made our car buying experience a great one here. Just purchased a 2021 Tundra Trail Edition in Cement Grey from Putnam Toyota on 2/6. 10 Star Buying experience!!! Thats right!!! I said 10 Star! All 3 Putnam associates I dealt with were friendly, honest, professional and knowledgeable. It first started with a Call to Eric (Internet Sales Manager). He picks up the phone and right off the bat I can tell hes not at the dealership. In fact hes at the park playing with his kids. I bring this up because it shows me hes dedicated to the family and his customers. Lets be honest, if Im at the park playing with the kiddos and work calls. Theres no way in hell Im picking up the phone. Anyways... I request pics and vids of the truck, which were supplied the next day when Eric got to the Dealership. I then request best OTD price with an itemized breakdown. Which was promptly supplied. Ive been doing my homework on the 2021 Tundra for the past year. So when it comes to cost, availability and demand... I knew what to expect. Everything looked good and I was prepared to purchase the vehicle on Saturday. Its Friday now and I ran into some issues with my Credit Union. Paperwork delay would mean I couldnt purchase the Tundra till Monday. That meant I could possibly lose the truck to another undeserving Tundra buyer . Eric sensed my urgency and got Kyle (Finance Manager) involved to come up with a game-plan. Kyle was able to devise a workaround for my unique financial situation. He assured me if I showed up on Saturday Ill be driving off the lot with my new Truck. Which I did. Kyle wasnt there to close out my deal but George (Finance Manager) was. The whole process was quick, simple and painless. The car buying experience can be stressful and a big pain in the . Trust me I know. Ive gone through a few. Do yourself a favor, If your looking for a car, give Eric a call. Youll leave the dealership feeling good about your purchase like I did. We agreed on the terms thru the phone, I showed up to sign some papers, and I was out with my new car in about an hour. FYI Toyotas MSRP for the car is $45,594.The quote I received was hillarios $58,339 No Hassle Internet Price+about $6,600 for Tax/Dmv/$85 doc=Approx $64,939 Out the Door.Definitely not coming for NO HASSLE robbery

The worst sales person (David Proctor) in this dealer I ever talked to. All I wanted to know the spec of their pre-configured car 2021 Rav4 Limited AWD as I have specific options wanted to pick and he ask me to look it up myself. It sounds to me he doesn’t even care and takes time to own my business. I guess judging by this behavior, one star suits this dealer well.

A great location for car service! The moment you pull into the facility, someone is there to greet you and theyre attentive to your needs. Ive been to other locations in the area, yet, Ive noticed a significant difference in my car after its been serviced here. My car feels and runs better, which is an indication that the car was indeed serviced and cared for properly. I didnt have the need to question what wasnt done. Huge relief!! Working with Putnam Toyota was the best experience in my 3 months of searching for my new car. 7 dealerships and 8 cars later, I finally said Yes to the Highlander Hybrid.Best of the Best:Toyota Safety Features like Lane Assistance and TSS-P or Pre Collision 💥 feature will literally brake your vehicle if a driver suddenly stops in front of you.Sales: I called after researching too many hours online and spoke with the GM, who introduced me to Nader, a Senior Sales person at Putnam Toyota. Nader was calm, cool and collected when explaining my 100 questions that I had researched online. He was the best sales person we came into contact with, along with Noli, who was also extremely knowledgeable and thoughtful.I cannot stress this enough if you are buying a new car: to have the ability to drive the vehicle and figure out what is really important to you.

I cant say enough good things about my experience at Putnam Toyota! The car shopping experience until I visited there was stressful to say the least. After spending all day bouncing around to different dealerships, we made one last stop at Putnam and found exactly what we were looking for! Not only did they have the exact car that I wanted (in a really cool color!) but the service with Joe was awesome. He was extremely knowledgable about the car and very efficient, I felt like he really cared that I was leaving with a vehicle I was happy with. I would recommend Putnam to anyone in the Bay Area looking to buy a car - and make sure to ask for Joe!

Unfriendly service. I asked for a Rav 4 and the sales person says theres more upstairs with no direction on how to get upstairs. I went to the front desk and asked. The front desk person said nothing leaving me to wonder what was going on. Then another sales person comes out. Very unprofessional. Then I said I am looking for something 20k and under. Instead of working with me he said its a take it or leave it deal and walked away. I took my business to Melody (Victory)Toyota where Theo greeted me and informed me of what he had in my range. I would not recommend Putnam Toyota to anyone looking for friendly service or a good deal.

I had a great experience with Putnam Toyota. I was looking to buy a Toyota Tacoma and had done my own research and knew what I wanted. I was looking at many different sources on the internet for available Tacomas in the region. I found a very thorough posting on Craigslist for a new Tacoma. It was exactly what I was looking for, there were great photos, and it was fairly priced compared to other Tacomas on the market. Eric Brooks was the salesperson from Putnam Toyota who posted the Tacoma on Craigslist. I went to the dealership and sent him a message about the truck. He contacted me immediately. I was nervous because of the reputation car dealerships and car salespeople have, but Eric made me feel really comfortable. He was straightforward, friendly, and knowledgeable and he enabled me to move at my own pace. I ended up purchasing the new 2021 Toyota Tacoma and I have no buyers remorse at all. I had started and stopped my search for a new vehicle many times - I even tried Cartelligent & Autoland but found it difficult to get the information I was seeking about the vehicles that interested me. An acquaintance (also looking for a vehicle) recommended I check out Eric Brooks postings on Craigslist. He responded immediately to my text message and patiently fielded my questions. His pricing was very clear and much better than what I got from AutoLand -- combined with his knowledgable and prompt responses, lead to making my purchase at Putnam Toyota.He and I agreed on a time -- and I had his undivided attention for the entire time I was on site to fill out the paperwork. The Finance Dept, George, was also super hospitable and informative.Eric walked me through all the features including 4WD and the multi media console. Not sure why this place has such high reviews when the customer service is so bad. I just dealt with 2 sales person and I was almost begging them for information. One of them, answered a question about the Rav4 Prime and just walked away. Both of them were too lazy to deal with customers. Im really sorry if i disturbed your day by asking questions. Definitely not the service I was expecting. Especially when representing a brand like Toyota.

For many, many years my Toyota has been taken care of by Putnam. My most recent visit was so stress free and satisfactory that I need to write this review.My appointment was at 10:30 am. Within 7 minutes, the car was taken in. A few days earlier, I did stop by another Toyota dealer service. Even with appointment made I waited for almost 30 minutes in my car. When asked, the staff person told me he had no idea when my car could be taken in. I just nicely told him that I need to leave. So glad to have checked around.At Putnam, the service was prompt, the technicians are professional and courteous. The waiting room is clean with fresh coffee, tea, fruits and donuts, AND no loud TV so I can relax well.Most of all, I trust the integrity of the staff. The conditions of my car were clearly explained. The pricing reasonable and transparent.I drove all the way from South San Francisco to Burlingame for the service. No problem at all. I will continue to rely on Putnam Toyota for keeping my car in good shape.

Grant M. In the parts department totally restored my faith in Toyota. He seemed to be the only person who showed concern and accountability for an oversight from Toyota Manufacturing. The Fremont dealership I bought the vehicle from, new, was unwilling to help and brushed my situation off. However, Grant showed empathy and did everything he could to make it right for me. I appreciate his efforts and will definitely go to Putnam Toyota for my next vehicle purchase.

I did a regular maintenance and service for my AVALON. Gerson was assigned to me, he was very patient in listening to the concerns I had and gave me suggestions for the vehicle. Finally when I got my vehicle back he explained what was done and what’s to be done in future. First time taking it here. 10,000 K service and service during weekday with appointment about two hours as promised. Nice waiting area with free WiFi, small TV, plenty of comfy chairs, free auto coffee drinks and pastries paid vending machines and clean restrooms. Every half hour free shuttle from Oracle to Grand Avenue. Friendly service. Wouldve been nice if they had vacuumed the interior after a service was completed.

Disappointed with the Service Department. Dropped my car off for my appointment at 11AM and was told it would be done in 1hr and 45 minutes. After patiently waiting for 2 hrs and 30 minutes I asked for an update. I was then told that they had just started working on it. I could not wait any longer and needed my car for work tomorrow so I canceled the job and left. Basically wasted my time there.

I recently purchased a new Prius C from Putnam Toyota and I had an excellent experience. The salesperson I worked with was Darren and he was friendly, fun to talk to, and very helpful. I feel pleased with my purchase and the price I paid. Buying a new car for the first time on my own seemed like it would be an intimidating experience, but it wasnt. All of my questions were answered and we were able to negotiate a deal that fit my budget.As far as the dealership itself, its a large place with a huge selection of cars. They had the car I wanted in the color I wanted in stock and I was able to buy it and drive it home the same day. There is a comfortable waiting area with snacks and beverages available. I would recommend Putnam Toyota to a friend.

We walked into Putnam Toyota with the intention of having a look around. We were doing some comparison shopping without a firm purchase timetable. Darren greeted us warmly and proceeded to show us a Highlander we asked to see. He was clearly very interested to learn about our auto needs and happy to show us the various style options that could meet our criteria. We saw several models and Darren was able to clearly articulate the differences between the various styles. We ultimately agreed that the Highalander Limited with the Platinum package was the car for us. Darren took us through the difficult financial piece with as much ease and thorough handling as he did the sales process and handed us over to Mike for the contracts and service package sales. The worst service! Took our car to get fixed Sunday night for Monday morning. Guy by the name of Matt Sammut in the service department called my wife confirm the truck there and he was going to start service. Said he would call us when the truck was ready. We never heard from anyone and continued to call and talk to sales reps trying to get a live body to talk to regarding why no one called us about our truck being ready.We ended up going in since we live a short distance and they didnt even seem to be phased with the fact that we needed our truck back tonight. Service already closed and the receptionist was closing up. We got our truck back by taking matters into our own hands.Im sorry but this place has no customer service. I would never take my vehicle there. Ill continue to tell others. The worst.

Well looks like they don’t care once you buy a car. I thought this dealership was great when I bought my car from them a few years ago. Over the past few weeks I’ve tried reaching out to them for a new car. Finally reach out to me after 3 weeks. I let them know the car I am looking for. Basically they tell me they can’t help. Your a dealership are you not? You have the cars on your lot as I have seen them! I get told I can come in. I advise them email works best right now. I get told since I am working with other dealerships that maybe I should go with them. Obviously I’m working with other dealerships cause Putnam hasn’t respond to me in 3 weeks. The don’t seem to want my business either. I was trying to be a loyal customer and buy my next car from them, but I was proven to be wrong for going back. Happy shopping people. So I buy a new car out in Clovis cause they had the best deal an got money back from the warranty I bought from Putnam. Which Putnam didn’t mention was possible.Then a few months later I crack my windshield.I contacted Putnam for an exact price quote for a replacement. Because while there sales Dept may have failed. I have always liked their service Dept. They gave me a exact price over the phone and I asked for an invoice so I can fwd to my insurance. They called me back an told me the price was wrong. The fee oddly went up almost 400 bucks! Weird. I called 4 other dealerships for the same thing an Putnam still had the highest price for the exact same thing. I called an asked why. They told me it need this and that. I explained I was aware it needed this an that as I had the invoice from them and other Toyota dealerships. But why were they 400/500 dollars more. They simply couldn’t answer me. They just kept saying the car needed this and I kept telling them I am aware it needs additional things. I even spoke to someone hire up and spoke about the price difference in the invoices. He couldn’t explain but said if you can drive an get it cheaper do it. That’s pretty sad if even he’s saying it. So if you need something done on your car. I would recommend driving else where. If you can. The prices are highly inflated here. I get it’s Burlingame, but it’s Toyota. I’ll drive the 2hrs away and save 800 bucks!Example: Repair for windshield, plus calibration, plus molding, plus labor, plus something else = 1800 plus at Putnam Toyota vs the 4 other dealerships I called in the surrounding areas = lowest price 1380. Originally Putnam told me 1400 plus. Then for some odd reason it suddenly changed...to 1900 plus tax totaling close to 2k. When another dealership said they could do it for 1200 flat an that the molding didn’t need to be replaced. Though Putnam was trying to charge me for it.

If you need a new car, go to Putnam Toyota and ask for Victor!. He really helped me out as a first time buyer. Calmed my nerves answered all my questions going above and beyond my expectations!!! What I liked most was that his motivation was not to try and sell me a car but to help me find the car I needed and he did just that Also got a great deal! Stay away. We leased a Fiat 500e from Putnam Fiat and have had multiple problems with it. Its died twice in our garage on the charger. First time it was towed and fixed the next day. Second time we had to wait FIVE DAYS for a tow. The car has also failed to take a charge numerous times on different chargers. This is an unsafe vehicle because you never know when it will die. My wife has been stranded in the city numerous times.Putnam says talk to the manufacturer. We talk to the manufacturer and they send us back to the dealer. When I call Putnam back, telling them Chrysler suggested I talk to the dealer, Joe Nenning Putnams Customer Relations Manager, says Oh thats just a game that Chrysler plays. REALLY? This is customer service? I just want to end the lease, but Putnam Fiat has NO customer service and want to wash their hands of this dangerous car.

Don’t Ever Get Your Vehicle Serviced at Putnam Toyota!I took my Camry in for a simple oil change and I left with a quote of over $500 to repair something that their tech damaged.I took my vehicle to my own mechanic and it was confirmed that that damage was originated by their tech by over tightening the oil plug using their power tools, which then stripped the threads of the oil pan.The thing that REALLY agitated me was the fact that their “service advisor” said that the plug was already damaged, which I know for a fact that it was not because I previously personally changed the oil myself and I know I didn’t over tighten the plug to the point where it I would strip the threads by hand, and also my oil NEVER leaked, and after their tech damaged the oil pan by stripping the threads, when I brought my vehicle home, I noticed the oil was severely leaking through the damaged plug.My mechanic showed me the damaged threads on the plug and on the oil pan, so I know the damage was caused by the overuse of their power tools when tightening the plug.Also, if the damage was already present, it should have been Putnam Toyota’s responsibility to call me first (before doing the oil service) to let me know of the issue to tell me that the oil pan needed replacing, not tell me after the oil change was completed and left dripping.It was completely unprofessional to blame the customer knowing that the damage was caused by their inexperienced tech, and then trying to have the customer pay for the error of THEIR employee… that’s totally unacceptable!I have been a loyal customer of Putnam Toyota for many years, but after this incident, I will never go back to purchase a vehicle or for service.These guys are completely dishonest and will not take the blame for their own error, but would rather make you believe that the issue was already present and then try to stick you with a $500 bill to fix the issue that THEY caused.STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE!

We had great time at Putnam Toyota!This was our first visit to Putnam Toyota. We got great 3years young Highlander. Our Labrador Mishka approved our choice by quickly jumping into his trunk right after we arrived home. We are very happy with warm and kind service provided by Jeff Hershman. Nice and flawless!!! 5 stars!!! David took care of financial part. Easy and simple like light breeze. I would recommend this place as number ONE when you need a car. Had an 11an appt this morning for new car ,new software download, maybe 10 minutes job.They did not say they would start work today, or finish work today.I wrongly assumed that.But was told in the small northern enter driveway that my Firm 11am appt was just for,,, Dropping Off My Car!Not starting work!With 12 people waiting in the lounge for this relatively small shop,,,that could be,,,tomorrow or next week!Going to find a Much Bigger Toyota dealership garage!!

I dont write reviews often but my familys experience buying a car at Putnam Toyota was nothing but straightforward, and easy. We had been to another Toyota dealer the day before and got nothing but a headache as we could not come close on agreeing on a price. We were serious buyers and through an internet search found that Putnam Toyota had the exact car we wanted. My husband called and Jeff the Internet and Fleet Manager quoted us a price over the phone that was exactly what we thought we should be paying. No games. Two hours later we were signing papers to buy the car. They were fair with our trade in pricing also. George the Finance manager got us the best finacing possible with the lowest rate. It was worth driving a little further than my local Toyota dealer that jerked us around. I highly recommend buying a car from Putnam Toyota. (We were coming from the East Bay, not NV).

They were able to get me same day appointment for maintenance service. Facility is clean and they provide coffee and bagels/pastries. Staff was friendly (Darlene, Henk, Louigie, Jesse). They don’t do free car wash here after service unlike some Toyota dealerships, but they were able to throw in free vacuuming. :)

Being new to the US & the leasing process, we got a bit of run around from other Toyota dealers in the bay area. We then went to Putnam Toyota and Darren was the sales professional assigned to us. He answered all our questions, gave us the relevant information and gave us enough time to make our decision without trying to push us unlike the other sales persons we interacted with.Once we made our choice to go ahead with the leasing, he was with us until we sealed the deal, helping us with the documentation and even the insurance. Though it look ages for us to finish up the process, he was very patient, and courteous. He did everything he could to make the process easy and hassle-free. He also followed up a couple of days afterwards to check if we had any further questions and if we were happy with the car. Needless to say we were thrilled with the customer service provided by Darren and would recommend our friends to go to Putnam.

This is such a nice and friendly place. I live in Daly City but always get service here even though i have to hang out there and cant use their shuttle service. The facility is clean with wifi, charging station, coffee, and pastries.Matt is good and honest. He told me i already bought prepaid service with my car, when i tried to buy again (dont laugh, this is me). So i dont have to pay twice.

Be careful signing the papers when you buy a car. I purchased a car with maintenance included and I even had my friend to witness. I came for my first maintenance and they say its not included. Watch for the Finance guys reprinting your contracts during the signing process. I feel duped.
