I was excited about getting a nice new car at a local dealership thinking they would be honest and fair. This was not the case. Jordan kept avoiding me pricing info and promised me that I was getting the car I chose for the very best price. Next day i found my car ( exact vin) for thousands less on the Goode site...... fishy and no integrity.

I worked with Brogan Thoren at Goode to buy my new expedition. When I first started looking I wasnt even sure what type of vehicle I wanted. He was extremely patient and not at all pushy. He narrowed it down and then went above and beyond to find the perfect car at another dealership and trade for it. The process was smooth and painless from start to finish. When in financing, they didnt try to get me to add extras or buy anything I wasnt comfortable with. I loved my experience and have referred friends and family back to Brogan since purchasing my car.

Be very careful working with this dealership they have absolutely no integrity. A manufacturer recall on my breaks was done here several times and each time something went wrong. A formal complaint to the corporate Ford has been filed and hopefully they will take action against this dishonest dealership. My parents car was totaled not even 24 hours after picking up the car for a break recall fixed. Breaks failed and they have done nothing to make it right. I definitely won’t stop until I ensure they take accountability for their negligence. Shame on you Goode.

NEVER buy from this dealership. Dont do it. They are crooks and will take you for all you are worth. My mom recently purchased a vehicle from them. They would not give her the price of the vehicle, instead would only tell her what they payment would be. They sold her a vehicle that was not what she wanted, but what they wanted. She was extremely pressured. The car they sold her, they sold her at $5000 above its value, but told her it was a great deal.... FOR THEM!! She tried to work with them to get something different, but they werent willing to do it. Between this dealership and the one in Twin, its a hot mess. The only positive was their sales guy, Jordan. My poor mom is now extremely upside down in a car that she doesnt want with no options to get into something different because of how upside down she is. Bad business. Avoid them at all cost. Take your business elsewhere.

We are fulltime RVrs and were recently traveling to Twin Falls ID when we started having problems with the turbo and the front end on our F-450. We called the local Ford Dealer and were told they couldnt get to it for a couple of weeks. I called Goode Ford in Burley and Nick in service told me they were booked up but to bring it in anyway and they would figure out a way to fit it in. I arrived an hour later and they took it right away. Nick and the mechanic, Mike, got us back on the road a couple of days later. What a great experience with a very friendy and professional group of people.

The wait time is insanely slow in the service department and they do a very poor job. I have waited at least 2 hours for my car to be serviced everytime I have been there despite having a scheduled appointment. Also I had them not properly screw in a cover on the bottom of my car causing it to fall off later that evening. Terrible terrible service

I was moving my wife, two kids (both under 2), and my two dogs to Tennessee from Seattle, Washington. We were driving since she needed the vehicle when we got to Tennessee. On our first day, we made it from Washington to Idaho when we had a problem. We were 20 minutes from the nearest truck stop, and one hour in both directions to the nearest major town/city when the engine started making a ticking noise. At first, I thought it was the movie we had playing for the kids. But as we were driving, it got louder, then I noticed it would change in pitch as I gave it more gas going up an incline. I paused their movie and turned down the radio. It was at that point that I realized it was the motor. I know we’re out in the middle of nowhere, so I’m just hoping I get to civilization. The noise gets louder. I get a wrench icon on my dash telling me I need to read the manual. Now I’m starting to worry that we won’t make it to civilization. And then it happens. The ticking that progressively got longer turned into a loud bang! I get a low oil pressure warning on the dash and then the engine cuts out. I coast to the side of the interstate.After about 2 hours, I finally get a tow truck. I have them take me to the nearest dealership, which was Goode Motor Ford in Burley, Idaho. We get there and they are already expecting us. Before I open the door of the tow truck to get out, my door opens up and I’m greeted by Nick who immediately says “Hey Eric, what’s going on?” I hop out of the truck and start telling Nick the whole story, not once did he interrupt me, he listened to everything I had to say! He shows me to the waiting area, where I get my wife and kids situated. I end up talking to Mel who was incredibly nice! She helped us get a rental car so we could continue on our way and she offered us a loaner in the meantime so we could take the kids and dogs to a nearby park. She even offered to watch our kids or to get someone to walk our dogs for us! They treated us like we were their family. They did everything they could to get us back on the road ASAP! They even drove me 45 minutes to the nearest Enterprise, where they paid for the rental! The rental that we drove from Idaho to ST. Louis, were we spent Christmas with my family for a week, then drove to Tennessee, where we had the rental for about another week while they fixed our Ford Edge. Once the repairs were done to our Edge (new motor, new turbos, etc…) they drove our vehicle all the way to Tennessee from Idaho, so we didn’t have to make that drive again!If Goode Motor Ford was close to us, I would definitely buy from them! I have never in my life had such a great experience from a dealership! They treated us like we were close family! And they did everything in their power to make sure we could get to our family for the holidays! I will never forget the road trip and the exciting story of blowing a motor on a road trip across the country. But most importantly, I will never forget the employees of Goode Motor Ford. Nick, Mel, and to everyone else that helped us that day, I just wanted to say thank you! Thank you from the bottom of my heart! My family will never forget what you did for us that day! It’s a story we will tell for years to come! You singlehandedly made Ford look incredible that day! I often wonder, if I went to any other dealership, would I have had a similar experience? I took my car in to goody motors because I was having a problem with my gas gauge not registering correctly and after that my battery kept dying so I took it over there to them I took it in on a Wednesday the next day the guy called me and said well our technician can’t get to your car until Monday so they kept it till Monday I was patient I thought why want to make sure they do a good job then he proceeds to text me on Monday and telling me a few things that need to be done and I said can you please call me. He calls me and basically gives me an estimate of at least $2000 if not more for a new battery a couple of belts and a tuneup and he also said that my rim was bent which I find that hard to believe because I had just got brand new tires the month previous and I think that commercial tire would’ve sold me a new rim if I needed one. So when he called me that much I knew I did not have that much to put into my car at that moment so I went and picked it up took it to a different mechanic since then I had had my car fixed fully total tuneup everything replaced and I was only charged a little over $1000 and that’s including a brand new alternator which is what was draining my battery to begin with. come to find out the reason my battery kept getting drained was the alternator was bad and that was not even something that they had told me was wrong they didn’t even bother to check it to be honest I don’t even think they open the hood. Then I decided to call the manager and let them know what their guys were doing to their clients and I left her a message of course no reply I called that just now And was trying to explain to her what exactly had happened and she said well I trust him explicitly So what would you like from me in a very rural town and I said well I just wanna let you know that your guys are trying to rip people off and not even putting the thought into the problems that the car was actually brought there for because he didn’t even address the reason why brought the car there he just wanted to upsell me on everything else and she said have a nice day thank you and hung up on me in a very rude town so if you’re planning on going to them to have any car service done I really honestly suggest that you don’t because all you’re gonna do is get screwed and spent a lot of money for nothing.

I think it was a pretty dumb idea to make removing the 3rd row seating in the ford explorers compromise the structural integrity of the vehicle and make us buy a $230 part to keep the frame from what I understand bending. All this from only wanting to remove our 3rd row seating. You want to make even more money from us

Im very impressed with the customer service and the cleanness and reliability and the eagerness from this dealership. They stayed within the price range of those quoted theyre fast they were friendly good personalities personable they had a rental vehicle I could use for the time being. My brake line broke and they had to drive all the way to sun valley in order to get the replacement parts they didnt have it and I had my truck back within 10 hours of dropping it off right before close. This is top-notch place Good job guys.

Traveling through Idaho in an RV the check engine light came on. We called late in the afternoon and they said they could check it out first thing in the morning. We arrived at 8:00am, met TJ, the service coordinator. He expedited getting a mechanic out to the RV. They got us checked out and got us on our way without any drama. Kudos to the mechanic for his patience in answering all my questions while he was checking out the RV. We really appreciate the EXCELLENT customer service!!!

A few months ago I purchased a beautiful ford explorer from Goode. Brogan Thoren the salesman helped me get what I needed to bring it home. It took some damage on the front bumper and Goode motor collision repair made it like brand new.

Do not buy from this dealership, you have been warned! I recently attempted to purchase a vehicle from this dealership. I have been in constant conversation (nearly 20 emails) with a salesman from 8/8/2020 until an hour or so ago when I received an email telling me the vehicle sold last night - right out from under me. I received no call or email until hours after it had sold. I already had financing, rearranged my schedule with my work and family to be there to purchase the vehicle first thing Monday 8/17/2020. This was no easy task as I live 3 hours away in another state and lead a very busy life. I emailed the salesman back and I was told we didnt have a deal because I put no deposit down. I didnt know I was supposed to and was never asked to do so. This whole ordeal could have been avoided if I was given this simple information, but I wasnt. I had also been waiting on a purchase agreement, which the salesmans manager was supposed to email me, but that never happened. This type of business experience is easily avoidable, just dont do business here. It is obvious that theres a huge breakdown in communication amongst the management and salesmen and they would rather move a car a few days earlier than hold true to a deal that was made. This is bad business, plain and simple. Choose to spend your hard earned money, time and effort at a company who values it. Hope this helps someone else

Nick and his workers were great at Goode Motor. When I found an issue with my car that was under an extended warranty, they scheduled me a time to come in on a Friday and I would pick the car up the following Monday. They gave me a rental car for the weekend while they worked on my car, and everything was done in a very timely manner. Even though they were really busy when I went to pick up my car, they got me taken care of and out the door very fast. I was really impressed with their service and attention to detail. Nick even sent me pictures of what the techs were doing along the way so that I could understand what was being done to my car. Overall a great experience!

I dealt with one of the dealers named Hunter. He reminds me of Hunter Biden, a man of no integrity. Goode motors promised me a clean vehicle and the model of truck I was looking for so I put a down payment on the rig. Turns out they pulled the good ole used car dealer trick on me as I had to drive all the way from another state to find a $hitty vehicle to say the least. Not only did this vehicle have defects like dents and scratches inside and out, but the frame and rocker panel on the drivers side was defective (and they tried to hide it without telling me!). Don’t give these guys your business they are criminal and didn’t even refund my deposit. F U Goode Ford.

I was driving back to Boise today from the worst vacation ever! My awesome rack system on my f150 fell apart and sent my canoe sailing 50 feet in the desert outside Idaho Falls. Then after enjoying a remote cabin we had a dead battery and had to hike for help for a jump. We then went to a different cabin and had the exact same thing happen. This time it was a 2hr hike for help. We bought a new battery and got it installed but driving down i84 I lost ALL my electrics and limped into Goode Motor Ford at my wits end and my gf not speaking to me. Even though they were slammed with business, the service rep Kris made room for us in the schedule. It turns out Wyoming mechanics arent alway the best battery installers and the Goode Motor Ford techs corrected the problem and we were back on the road in no time AND at no charge. Im not saying youll get your rig fixed for free but I will always be in their debt. True Story!

Buying a used truck was so simple. I found an ad for a truck online the day they posted it. The ad only had a stock photo so I emailed them to inquire about the truck and the next day when I woke up Julie had sent me a ton of pictures. It was exactly what I wanted but they hadnt had time to detail it yet. I called to setup a time to test drive it and since I live about 2.5 hours each way from them, Julie took it over to the shop and started cleaning it up. The truck looked like it was new by the time my wife and I got there!There was absolutely no pressure to buy from them. Everyone that helped us were very patient and helpful. They even let my wife take the truck to go get us some dinner while we waited (we didnt want to move the car seats again and my daughter wanted to go for another ride).Their prices are very reasonable and competitive, however, that being understood they wouldnt give me squat for my trade-in, so I kept it to try to sell myself, which I should probably do anyway since Ill get more money for it. Because their prices are competitive they also didnt wiggle much on the advertised price, but it was already acceptable at the listed price.All in all I am very happy with my car buying experience with Goode Ford (even though I bought a Chevy)! They were worth the 2.5 hour drive each way.

Updated rating. 2 weeks after getting my truck back from getting a new transmission and clutch installed ($5K), my starter developed a nasty grinding sound. Took it into my local Ford dealership and was told that the starter, which had to be removed during earlier work, was not secured properly.When I contacted Goode to have them reimburse me for the $150 labor, I was told basically to go F myself.

Jodie has been NOTHING but amazing we have been in the market for an Explorer, specific options because im picky...she would text us vehicles she would get in, and we would say yes or no... well its been a month since we have been looking and we finally found the one!!! She traveled to get it to us to take over night to test drive we love it. She is very professional and easy to work with unlike other salesman that have been super pushy in the past. Goode Motor’s Overland store is awesome. We had Will Strong help us find a car and he was amazing. He listened to our needs, was not pushy at all, and he was honest. He exemplifies what a car salesman should be. You definitely do not get the sleazy car salesman vibe when you talk to Will. If you are looking for a used car, Will Strong is definitely the man to talk to! I only wish the management hadn’t sent to car up to Hailey for a while. That made it harder to deal with. Seriously, Will Strong is the best.

We drove all the way from Meridian Idaho for the best car and I am so glad we did. Julie and Zeb made it very easy by helping us out with getting all of the stuff taken care of before we got there so basically all that was left was a test drive and paperwork. Its not easy to go from no car payment to a car payment but they did help and make the transition as easy as possible. It is totally worth the drive out of this Valley to get a better deal on a car. I would definitely highly recommend them and would go back.

My car went in Saturday and needed to stay longer when they discovered the rear breaks needed to be replaced, so I was able to drive in a brand new Ford Fusion until they could get it done Monday at no charge to me. Very nice, and it was a great way to be able to test drive a new car while mine was being worked on also.

This was the first time I really enjoyed going to get my truck serviced! TJ, Nick and Alexus made me feel right at home and like we were instant best friends! They took such great care of me and my truck. I am now a loyal customer!

If youre looking for genuine, caring people to do business with, this is the place. Mel and Nick took care of us every step of the way. When our car needed repair, not only did they give us a car to drive in the mean time but they made sure to switch us out immediately when we encountered a problem. During the repair, minor cosmetic damage occurred and they promptly took our car into a body shop and had more work done than was necessary because they sincerely wanted to make the situation right. And on top of everything, they had our car fixed ahead of schedule! They truly appreciate their customers here. Rest assured, when you walk through the front doors you are in great hands. Just ask someone who has dealt with them. Personally know mechanics that have worked there. I would rather take it to a grease monkey
