The place looks kinda old but is still clean and the manager Katie is nice and patient and really helpful

Public Storage lately has had trouble with keeping all of the offices open, so I call before I come down to see if someone is there (I have seen a couple of complainsts and asked about it, the manager said that some of the day is spent cleaning or fixing the property, so she’s not always in the office when she’s here). Katie is always polite and friendly and makes time for me, she is always smiling and willing to help find cheaper options to for her customers, would recommend her help

Public Storage - a name that seemed to off-handedly say Sure, put your stuff here - we dont care (about it). Responsibility? We take our responsibility to your wallet Very seriously!At least, thats what I would have said a month ago. Back was against a wall, options either abandon family heirlooms or use a storage service (and we all know Desperate is their faaaavorite kind of customer, right?).I walk into the office, and am just about offended at how quick & thoroughly this employee overturns all of my assumptions (of course she turns out to be the property manager, hah).Not only was Katie professional, sweet and upbeat, but she was Authentic and Helpful! She clearly explained all of their terms, costs, operating hours (I guess theyve changed recently), their updated security measures, and then hits me with the coup de grace by saying, for the size of space you need I see theres a deal right now that saves you $X, so the updated total will actually be $X.Now I dont know if I got the 1 in a billion customer service yogi we all dream about, or maybe... just Maybe, Ive been wrong about Public Storage this whole time... Thank you again, Katie!! You did the impossible here - who would think Id ever be satisfied paying someone to keep my things at their place, and then looking forward to visiting? Tony was very helpful & friendly, getting my husband & I set up in a unit last minute. He made sure we got the best deal & best unit available. Were very happy with the service we received.

The place is pretty much a storage facility. Conveniently located a few blocks away.Giving it 5 stars for the helpful and super friendly service of Katie earlier today. She was really funny and made the experience actually fun.

Nobody is ever here at these public storages and no way to contact the people managing these locations.

Having found myself temporarily without a place to live, I rather quickly in October of 2019 selected a facility to store my belongings. Secure facility is what I found- moreso than some federal/military installations I have seen. Thoroughly competent staff, professional and personable. Every time I have visited, the place is presentable from the office to the hallways, which shows a good bit of attention to detail. I do not believe I could have made a better or safer choice than to ask Daffodil to protect my belongings and research. Thank you for all that you do- it brings great peace of mind to many.

I went to public storage here today.There is young pretty lady, Katie. She helped me A to Z super nice and respectful.I so much have good impression of this store and store manager, Katie.

My boyfriend has stopped by here 2 days in a row and the office has been closed every time and no one is around to help him. Yesterday he checked 3 times throughout the day and no one was ever there. He went again today and still no one was there. Cant reach anyone by phone either.

It is what it is. Got the job done to store my belongings. Glad they have roofs now for 5x10s. Heard someone was jumping between lockers going thru things.

I have a storage unit there it got broken to about a month ago someone barreled right through the wall the driveway is awful

Well-kept and easy to navigate. Not a lot of parking that wont block a unit, but it isnt too busy here. Good prices for the size of the units. Be careful at the exit gate, it swings open towards you!

I James Ocain currently rent space #95 here at the Public Storage site in Burien Wa, and would like to inquire on a specific employee by the name of Katie. From day1 shes been very helpful, responsible, courteous always greeting us customers treating us with the upmost respect and most of all her energy is always positive with a smile to brighten anyones day! With that being said I would like to thank her personally by submitting this her msg & encourage her to keep up the good work!

Clean facility, I always see the manager out cleaning the grounds or sweeping up leaves. Friendly people, good place for Storage.

I have a storage locker here and I couldn’t be happier with the service. The place is always clean and tidy, and Alex is very friendly and helpful. I constantly leave my storage locker unlocked here, accidentally, and never once has anything come up missing. Alex even puts his own lock on my locker, and calls me to inform that I left it unlocked again. Great storage facility

Alex is steadfast and diligent. Hes always running around taking care of the place, but always available to take care of your needs at the office. Hes also a pleasant fellow.

Good location, reasonable prices, and Josh is very helpful. We feel very good having our belongings stored here. The facility is easy to access and very convenient.The only negative is that the units themselves are fairly musty with a strong mildew smell. Some better ventilation, or mildew resistant paint on the interiors would be a solid improvement.

Pat, the property manager of this public storage location, made the experience quick, efficient and very enjoyable. She was so incredibly helpful and friendly. She very thoroughly explained all of the specials in detail, and help me pick the unit that best suited my needs. She also was very knowledgeable about products that I would need in assistance with my storage unit. What a great experience and employee!

I was in need of a last minute storage unit until I could prepare our home for the extra items I had brought home from our cabin. We are having a real rough patch as my Husband is very ill. I am mentally and physically exhausted at this point.There was only 15 min left to closing and Patty assisted me with the unit that had been reserved through the call center. I had a bit of a break down as I was overwhelmed with all of the events of the past few days.It was at that point that Patty seemed to forget it was closing time. She viewed her availability and choose the unit she felt was best for my needs. I have previously rented storage units at this location before and have had up and down experiences, but my worst experience has been with Clutter! I decided to give this location another try due to easy access. Started the process online and before I could finish Alex gave me a call and welcomed me, I went in about 30 minutes later, Alex couldn’t have made my in person experience more welcoming; Alex was very detailed and explained everything very well. I was showed my storage unit and went back to the office and the process didn’t last no longer than an additional 5 minutes. As a person that deals with a lot of customer experiences, Alex represented Public Storage with absolute professionalism along with a welcoming presence. Thanks!*Update* June 2020*After COVID-19 I was making late payments the past 3 months, I received a call seeking my monthly owing balance and I was gong to ask to setup payment arrangements of some sort and explained my payments were going to continue to be late for some time until I caught up on my bills. Katie the manager gave me a call back the following day and had waived my late fees, so that I could make my monthly payments on time moving forward without occurring the additional fees. Thank You!

I have had multiple units in this storage unit, DO NOT CONSIDER THIS PLACE!! GO JUST DOWN THE ROAD TO THE NEXT PLACE! THEY DONT CARE ABOUT YOU, THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY!They raise the price with the snap of a finger, if for some reason the autopay doesnt go through and you dont have your username and password, autopay just stops without telling you and the only way to not pay more money is to pay it in person. They charge you for paying via automated message over phone, and if you press forgot username/password and put your info in it DOESNT SEND ANYTHING TO YOU EVER. On top of all this, if you want to fix any of this, the owner/manager will never actually talk to you. I have left him multiple messages to correct my experience, as well as told the only person that actually works there, Justin, that im refusing to pay these wrongly charged prices AGAIN until i speak to the person taking my money and making me jump through these hoops. After their autopay didnt go through for some reason, i called in and Justin told me autopay should go through again in a few days. It did not. So they charged me an extra 20 bucks. And then an extra 10 just to pay it. And this is all on top of the extra 10 bucks he raised the price from. This is a tiny storage unit that im paying way too much for. But its fine, things happen, i understand that. Im a very reasonable man. And then it happened again. And again. And here we are, my 3rd or 4th time paying the extra money and i have gotten his number multiple times from justin and called him, left him messages, told justin to tell him to call me numerous times, and he hasnt. He wont. But i know he knows. Ive refused to pay it, so now Ive gotten a preliminary notice meaning i cant touch anything in my storage space(which i imagine is his favorite part of owning a storage facility). So honestly, even in the midst of all this quarantine, im about to pay the way overpriced bill so i can get my stuff out and to a better facility for half the price. The steep hill is hard to maneuver, but the personnel working there are really quite helpful and nice. A certain Linda was as helpful as she could be, looking up items for people and working to make sure everybody was satisfied, as well as her co-workers. I think there was a Josh, who was trying to help out, as it was a busy day when I came there.

With the covid pandemic I was behind two months on rent start of the third they closed my unit and took all of my tools that I use to make a living.... Thanks for the help durring these awful times..

I have been dealing with Public Storage on a variety of levels over the past year, and have grown to have a great deal of respect and admiration for their business and their employees. Josh, the property manager, has always been wonderful to deal with. Moving and storing can be stressful, but to have pleasant folks to work with during that process is delightful. And Chanelle, the manager for this particular district, is a true professional, and a woman who has been accommodating and helpful at every turn. Alex was very informative and professional. I felt good about our rental, and he even helped us find a jump when our car died.Update: Unprofessional service upon move out, and throughout my time there. I have never in my life been so insulted. Uncommunicative, repeated breach of contract, and every single person I talked to refused to accept responsibility, for anything. I spent a lot of time on the phone, never losing my temper, explaining my situation, and nothing. Time and time again I was insulted, berated, threatened and dismissed. I took my buisness to Makespace for the considerably lower price, although I dont expect to be treated much better.

A month ago I had a horrible experience on New Years when we can you rent a unit employee working is extremely rude short and put out to help us were stuck in a situation we told her our desperate needs and deadlines and she did not have the courtesy to tell us details of the holiday schedule and that they would be closed when when we specifically stated our deadline with the very next day if they were going to be closed at the storage. Since then get a few other issues and brought it up to the owner and the owners son they were very proficient and quick to remedy any issues that we had and make up for a bad customer service with exceptional over the top friendly polite quick Service to help us with any needs we love this storage Company specifically this one on 154th and 1st Avenue thank you very much for everything I couldnt be more impressed! Pat was extremely helpful and understanding. Storage units are first-come-first-served, and our unit actually rented while we were en route to the storage facility, but Pat called us while we were driving and helped us come up with a solution that ended up working really well. Excellent customer service here. Be warned though, the facility has a really steep driveway and we ended up scraping the bottom of our Uhaul getting in and out of the facility. I dont recommend bringing a 26 Uhaul here unless you absolutely need to-- getting around the complex in a truck this large is tricky.

Talked with the folks on the phone and gave me a simple qoute on the spot.When I arrived I was greeted by Nikki with a very professional attitude. She even helped my mom to wire me some extra cash for the set-up! Thanks Nikki!

Had a unit there for 3+ years. no water damage, no evidence of rodents or pests. and to top it off, I was given incorrect information from corporate that could of cost me hundreds of dollars and the current manager (Margaret?) fixed the problem expeditiously at no cost.

I know who Ill be visiting when its time to store.Site was clean and you can tell that the employees here really want to help you with your needs. Not push you for something larger or more than you need (unliked unnamed other site)
