Great service and great product!When going into the Burbank location, Leigh walked me and my husband through a couple of digital piano models. She asked useful questions to find out what I was looking for and made the whole experience very exciting and fun. The piano was delivered very quickly and in perfect condition. Even though we got a beginners model, the Roland HP 702, it plays wonderfully and in many ways feels like playing an acoustic piano, thanks to Rolands focus on the full playing experience, rather than just the typical digital features (various instruments, midi out, 1/8 and 1/4 out, etc.), which are great as well of course.

I just bought an electric piano here today and liked the service quite a bit. No pressure, I told him what I wanted and he pointed me in the right direction. It was a bit more than I planned to spend... but it was a FAR better piano than I planned to buy. Gus was a pro, easy going and knew his stuff... and he didn’t make me wear a mask!Good experience. I recommend this store.

Couldnt give me a ballpark price on an upright digital piano over the phone had to come in. Not to mention were going through a pandemic when my time in public is valuable. Not very good business. I wanted to pay cash, but didnt know how much to bring. Taking my business elsewhere

And when I expressed my hesitation to provide my SSN after providing all the above info for a 3500 USD piano, the salesperson shoved the paperwork in our face and walked away.Its alright, we will take our business somewhere else!

My wife and I have been in the market for a new piano for over a year now. We scored big time at this new and wonderful piano store. They had a wide selection and understood exactly what our needs were, as well as what would fit in our living area. The staff is knowledgeable and listened carefully to truly steer us to the right piano. Also we got one hell of a deal.. The road trip was certainly worth it.

When I stopped by the Burbank piano store I was blown away by the selection, both new and used. I was greeted right away and the staff was absolutely fantastic to me and my family. Now if I can only decide on which piano to buy, it would make my life a lot easier. I work for a private school of the arts and will be recommending Hollywood Piano to all of my colleagues and my students parents. What a lovely experience.

Great attention

If you saw the size of my hands youd know why I have never invested much time in learning instruments that require finger reach. Im just glad I wasnt born a guy, if you know what I mean. However, my sister does have some sort of bewitched spider fingers that produce some killer piano tunes. So she came to her big sister wanting someone to watch her spend her money. Then I get to watch her set it up and let her artful hand spasms give us a killer time. My friend said I should head over to Hollywood Piano because its been around since the late Jurassic Period and they sell Roland electric pianos. A good thing, since I still have student loans up the ying yang to pay every month and I promised to contribute towards this for her birthday.The service at this store was really great. I had a ton of questions and the clerk was patient with me as we did some comparative shopping. Plus, theres a private lot here, which is worth noting given the lack of car real estate here in LA. While my sister was trying out the model she wanted, I was busy mobile-Googling away to make sure that the list price was a good deal. After some savvy thumb work, it really seemed like this store is fair for the particular piano. Kudos to them! My sister is certainly a little bit poorer, but a LOT happier!

Got my first free introductory piano lesson and was hooked ever since. Valery is a world class performer, songwriter, and composer who has become a hit on social media. I noticed his expert skill level right away just by how smoothly he handled the piano and how comfortable he was performing difficult techniques most artists struggle with. His personality was very engaging which helped put me at ease. His enthusiasm for music inspired me to continue taking lessons and I decided to register for a months worth of 60 minute classes. I have absorbed all his teachings like a sponge and it would be a dream come true if I could ever play like him. I have been reinvigorated being surrounded by such a wonderful staff in a school thats been around nearly 90 years. Im so thankful for all the knowledge he has shared with me. It has not only made me a better musician but a better person. Keep up the amazing work!

I just had the most wonderful piano buying experience and I want the Yelp world to know. After shopping around for some time, I finally found the spot I will buy all of my pianos and piano equipment from. Not only was Glenn helpful with pairing me with the perfect Kawai for me, but he was able to get it in the finish that complements my home furnishings. You cant get service much better than that. This is a five-star business and I will be returning when Im in the area just to say hello and thank them again and again.

I am so happy I decided to make the drive to this piano store in Pasadena. Ive been shopping around for the perfect digital piano for a while now, and I was thrilled that I finally found one! They were extremely helpful and immediately honed in on what I was looking for and showed me a piano I hadnt known about, but fell in love with! When I went into Hollywood Piano I had several questions and concerns. Thankfully, the staff at this Piano Shop are top of the line and most DEFINITELY know exactly what they are talking about and it shows. After speaking with the President, Glenn for one day I could truly say I left the store feeling like a Piano Major! I had several questions regarding the Digital Roland Pianos and how there sound differs from others. He explained to me exactly what I needed to know, one major thing being that they have a Natural decaying sound which is huge for a Digital Piano!They really do have quite the selection of pianos, I felt like a kid in a candy story. I would recommend The Hollywood Piano store to anyone I know who is a piano enthusiast or is seeking some knowledge, direction, or advice regarding pianos. Friendly staff, beautiful store, and relaxed environment.

Hollywood Piano is a shady establishment that serves as an insult to the wider piano community. In a blatant attempt at a cash grab, their general manager - Mr. Ric Overton offered a third of what a separate establishment offered us on our used piano. Another store offered us $4500 but Mr. Overton offered us a pathetic and paltry $1500, knowing full well that the piano could sell for $7,000 to $8,000. I have no problem with a business making some money but what Mr. Overton, and Hollywood Piano, offered us here was undeniably predatory.Their business practices reek of blatant avarice and are a reflection of an institutionalized disregard for their customers needs. If they are this willing to rip off someone selling a used piano, imagine how comfortable they must be with ripping off new customers walking in to buy a piano from them. Beware.
