Finally got my new mower in due to the delay in shipping (out of reel rollers control). Thanks Lee and Hayes for personally delivering the orders! That’s above and beyond customer service! I was able to take it for a spin for the first time and it’s an awesome product! Thanks again Reel Rollers for all the updates throughout the process and I look forward to buying some attachments for my Swardman soon!

TLDR: Save yourself the headaches, save your time, and save your money. Go with another US dealer or mower. Countless hours with support and $5,000+ later, enough is enough.Their level of customer service does not scale with the number of problems they are having and it runs out. Something needs to happen if this many others are having damaged parts delivered (look online). The final straw for me was when I was told to self repair my reel they just sharpened that I received back damaged in more than one way.10-6-19: I ordered my Swardman Edwin 55. Their moving sale ($500 off) exhausted their inventory and mine had to be ordered.11-24-19: I got the mower.3-26-20: I contacted Reel Rollers about a throttle/RPM issue. After 2 months of buying new cables and adjusting everything based on what was said in emails, it still did not work. They suggested I take it to a local repair shop. The shop adjusted some screws, springs, and the cable and got it working. Reel Rollers said they would pay the service fee and to forward the invoice, I did. They never paid. The bill was not all that much so I let it go.5-18-21: I ordered reel sharpening for my 10 blade reel. I also ordered new bedknives. I did not ship my reel because after switching out the bedknife, the cut was great.5-24-21: I ordered a 6 blade reel.5-25-21: I was informed that my reel would not be shipped until mid-June.7-7-21: I reached out about my reel as I had not heard anything.7-8-21: They wrote: “The shipping container was delayed and would not arrive until late July”.7-10-21: The the bottom roller broke. The welds on the roller actually came undone. They replaced the roller for free after I made some videos about what had happened and where it happened.8-2-21: I got my 6 blade reel. The reel out of the box would not spin it was so tight against the bedknife. I loosened it and over the course of two days tried to get it so that it would cut paper. It would not. One blade on each revolution would make more contact with the bedknife. They said they wanted to grind it.8-10-21: I was informed that if I did not use my reel sharpening that in another couple weeks the UPS label may become invalid”. UPS labels do not expire…8-24-21: I got back the ground 6 blade reel. It was not able to be spun by hand, tight against the bedknife. After loosening, the defect was still there. I made videos and shared with them privately.8-27-21: They made it right and I got a new replacement 6 blade reel and out of the box it was cutting paper.9-3-21: I shipped the defective 6 blade reel and my 10 blade reel to be sharpened. I included sticky notes inside each box one said defect, another said service.9-7-21: The packages were marked as received.9-16-21: I reached out as their service time is 3 business days. They noted back to me they got confused and that they had the 10 blade and would sharpen and ship.9-21-21: I got my 10 blade reel. This reel came tight to the bedknife and could not be turned by hand. Metal shavings and red gel were throughout the reel blades and bedknife. I cleaned. I loosened it up only to find that the metal bar under the bedknife bent up causing the reel to grind on the right side. I noted this to them and I was told to fix it myself. After all of this, I now have a $500 (+ $175 for sharpening) paperweight that I get to fix. I should mention that a bedknife screw was also stripped that I now have to drill out in order to “self repair”.9-23-21: I called and emailed. No answer and no response. If I damage further in fixing then I am completely out. If they fix or claim damage during shipping, this all becomes a moot point.I hope taking the extra time to explain my troubles saves you your time and money.*Pictured area is the only section I cut. I try to treat my Swardman and other tools like a baby and always use the caster wheels for transport on hard surface.*Pictured email is their response to me after showing the reel’s damage.

Lee has provided unparalleled customer service since I purchased my Swardman - answering my several questions upon purchase and going above and beyond to remedy issues out of his control (shipping delays at the beginning of the pandemic and careless delivery men damaging my reel). He’s been quick, responsive, and has absolutely earned my business! I’ll be strongly recommending Reel Rollers to anyone in the market for a reel mower.

Im glad some people like their customer service. Unfortunately, Ive asked questions and only got vague answers. Ive had to ask various youtubers that use a Swardman to get information. Thank you, Ryan Knorr! Only person Ive spoken with at ReelRollers was Eric Drapper who by chance has given them a 5 star review here. I gave them 1 star, only because they are cheaper than the other company that sells Swardmans in the United States. Otherwise, theyre just like any other online store where you cross your fingers and pray you get the correct product you ordered 2 1/2 months ago. Hopefully I can update my review once I get my product. 7-27-21 UPDATE: ”No Product” Thank you Lee for reaching out to me after this review. As you requested in the email, I gave you the times of 12pm-1pm M – F as the best times to reach me. I have not heard from you since. I did get an email from Draper on 6/25 that my order has been delayed due to shipping container issues. It’s been 2 ½ months now, time to cross my fingers. I will definitely update my review when I get my product. “wise brother recently told me, never, ever, ever do a review until you get your product.

I ordered the 25 grooved roller for my California Trimmer last Thursday, September 3 and it arrived Friday September 4. It took about 10 minutes to install and I was in the lawn cutting after that. I can honestly say that the quality of the cut is greatly improved! I dont have the smoothest bermuda lawn; however, the front roller has made a huge difference in my cut! I keep it at 1 and you cant see any variations in the height due to dips in the ground.

What can I say, awesome product(s) and exceptional customer service. Lee and his team are top-notch! Weve got two Swardmans in the family, and I keep wanting to add a third (Electra). We made the drive from Alabama to pick up mowers back in March.

OMG Lee is so honest I just cant say enough good things about this man. Went to his shop today with my wife and it was worth the 5 hour round trip. I will buy from him my Electra reel mower. Found him to be very forthright and knowledge.
