We used Scott Major, Havertys design consultant, to help decorate our living area. He did a great job. We are very happy with the plan. We were able to see exactly what the furniture and accessories look like in your home. We bought all the furniture and accessories. Thanks to Martha our sales rep as well. Good job by all!

I was looking for a small accent chair for my elderly mom and there were several good options. I sat down in the perfect chair as soon as I walked in the door. Then the salesman (Terry) came over and walked me through the other similar options and the pros and cons of each for a small elderly person - he knew exactly what was important in terms of stability and style. Then my mom came in the store and he helped her try out the choices and make a decision. He was amazingly in tune with what she needed and so kind to her. A good shopping experience all around. Outstanding inventory and customer service.

The salesman was very knowledgeable and helpful. He was not pushy at all. He gave me a chance to look and he found just what I was looking for.

I visited Havertys on Monday in search of a sofa. I told Mark, who was assisting me , that I was interested in looking at a Lawson type sofa. He showed me several models and also the color samples for the sofas and the custom coverings I might choose. He was very patient with me as well as kind. He answered all my questions about delivery and construction. This was my first visit to Havertys and I feel fairly certaiin I will return.

Very personable salesperson, Jeremy, tried very hard to get us the info we needed to make a decision re our purchase. Absolutely no pressure, greeted us as soon as we came in, left us alone while we browsed and when we had questions, he would answer them thoroughly.

Highly recommend the Guardsman warranty. We had what appeared to be a cut on one of our leather cushions. The tech couldnt repair and Guardsman was unable to obtain replacement parts. I had the option of a cash buyout or replace the entire sectional. I chose to replace. Within 2 days, Havertys contacted me and I should be receiving my new sectional within 2 weeks.

Great furniture, service was right there when I walked in and John was very knowledgeable and helpful.... Plus got a great deal on a 7 piece set!!! Good work guys

Mark Nicholson greeted us when he saw us enter. My wife asked for a wheelchair. None was available, but when he noticed one was available he retrieved it. He was well dressed and listened to us (primarily my wife). He showed us different pieces based on my wifes descriptions. We showed him a layout of the house. He used a program to put the furniture in the specific room and showed us different options. He printed a copy of the final drawing. I inquired about delivery and assembly, which he answered. He created an invoice with discounts. We then went to Customer Services to complete the transaction. (I saw the two ladies were behind a locked door. I hope they are allowed out at night.) This is our second major purchase. The previous one was in July 2014 for a Westbury Desk With Return. That was a pleasant experience also. Your selection of furniture is excellent. We will return if there is a future purchase.

We arrived to pick up the furniture to find that it was deliberately delayed. Then delivery has been rescheduled now 3 times. We still do not have our furniture. Will never buy from here again. Terrible customer service!

My wife and I just left from this store and have never been talked down to in way we were here. A sales associate by the name of Rich greeted us as we walked in, and asked if we were looking for anything in particular. We are in the process off building a new home, and are looking to furnish our master bed, breakfast area, and sofa with recliner. I told him that we were interested in looking at any upholstered beds with wood accents they may have, so he pointed us to the left side of the store. After we had browsed for a few minutes, he came and asked if we had seen anything that had caught our eye. We happened to be standing in from of an upholstered bed that was only fabric, without the wood accents. So I jokingly said it was a little pricey to not have any wood. Then he told me that their furniture was high end, and my wife and I should maybe go look at Ashley furniture, or value city, since we couldn’t afford their prices. My jaw dropped and had to leave before I said something inappropriate. Our budget was $15,000 to furnish these areas. Call me crazy, but that’s not a little bit of money, and to have a person that doesn’t know me or my wife, to talk down to us in this manner, is completely unprofessional and idiotic. I will never set foot in this store, and let everyone know that their employees are rude and inconsiderate.

Purchased a Benson sectional along with a power recliner add on piece. Dave was smooth with the sale or so I thought. He set up for the couch to be delivered in February. I purchased in December. February came and Havertys emailed me confirming delivery. I spent a day prior breaking down my current living room furniture to fit it all upstairs. When the delivery truck came, they said it was only 1/2 of the couch I purchased. It would be another 2 MONTHS before the other half of the couch was to be delivered. No one called me, and Dave blamed it on the delivery team. He then wanted to give me $100 for my troubles... but what he doesnt understand is I have half of a couch in my living room for months, and the delivery date for the rest of the couch isnt guaranteed, so it may be more. Took him all day to respond with Heres $100 for your troubles and does not return phone calls unless I call multiple times. Piss poor service from a furniture company. Should have been delivered in whole instead of me sitting on half of a couch for 2+ months. He bragged about how good the white glove delivery was, but failed to mention that I would be without a couch for 2+ months. For such a high end furniture store, Ive had better treatment at Ashleys and Lexington Overstock. Beware

Regina sold me my bed and was there today to sell me the dresser! She is a fantastic sales woman! So friendly and ready to help. I can’t wait to have my dresser with mirror to add to my collection! I will be sure to come back for the night stands!

Excellent customer service. I had looked for what I wanted at another furniture store and was told that it would take up to 16 weeks to get it. Havertys had exactly what I wanted and was able to deliver it in 4 days.

We had an enjoyable experience shopping at Havertys. We went in and Dave introduced himself and offered to help us. He wasnt pushy, he allowed us time to cruise about and look at everything. He checked back with us. We couldnt find exactly what we wanted and we told him that. He found us the furniture we were looking for! As someone else reviewed before (check the lowest reviews with search bar), I was not welcome in their store. After walking in, I was also tailgated throughout, not spoken to, and not treated like a paying customer. It seems as if minorities aren’t treated well here, which is fine, there are other furniture stores that I have purchased from. This is sad that discrimination is still happening, especially in Lexington, but it is important to know if you’re a minority thinking to spend money here what your experience will be! Maybe they will take heed of their many comments on how they treat minorities at this store and change their behavior. Definitely never shopping at this furniture store again.

I returned some swatches that I had borrowed and ordered a couple of chairs. My associate, Regina, has always done a stellar job of customer service. She is very knowledgeable about the options of your inventory and isnt pushy, encouraging me to take home samples to think about and offering your in house decorator services. I am a repeat customer and Im very loyal to her because she knows her stuff.

Dave Fosburgh is a knowledgeable and helpful salesman. During our first visit, we explained to David that we were just looking around and not purchasing until weve had time to think about our options. He spent time showing us the furniture that we were looking for. A week after our first visit, we went back to Havertys to see David again. After a second look, we decided to purchase a sofa and a recliner. Well be back to see David and complete our living room in the near future!

They were very helpful but the remote for mattress did not work and the salesperson took a call of 5-7 minutes while I waited. I would still shop there. It was not so distracting that I wouldn’t give them another chance. The selection is wide and very nice in all sorts of furniture. Pretty rugs.

I was a little nervous about shopping due to safety concerns regarding Covid-19 but as soon as we entered the store my mind was put to ease.
