Wonder Coffeehouse is one of the most unique-looking coffee shops Ive been to! I loved the layout, the aesthetic, and the location added to the experience. Im glad I made the trip to check them out!I enjoyed their food and coffee, too. I recommend the Millenial Fuel and the Lavender Honey Latte! Next time Im in town, Ill definitely stop in again!

Im in love. What a fabulous idea for a coffeehouse; an industrial-themed cafe situated smack dab in the heart of rustbelt Buffalo. The outdoor patio is comprised of various shipping containers cut open, painted, decorated, and arranged with furniture for sectioned-off seating. The inside features natural woodwork & stone. Menu consists of craft coffee & tea beverages plus specialty waffles and waffle sandwiches. Theres a small gift shop with Buffalo-themed and inspirational merchandise. Two clean private restrooms.

Great coffee - tried the lavender honey latte and hazelnut latte. The lavender honey was very refreshing on a hot summer day, the hazelnut was well balanced and not overly sweet. The staff was kind but seemed a bit frazzled as first they got our coffee order wrong and then we waited about half an hour for two waffles. The waffles were decent - the Original was the clear winner while the gluten free Monte Cristo was a valiant effort but didn’t quite hit the mark. I do appreciate the gluten free options though! Overall, the ambience and coffee make this worth a trip but don’t get your hopes up for the waffles.

A very retro and down to earth place! The decor is adorable and the customer service was great. This was truly a wonder to stumble upon and I appreciated the references to Peter Pan! 🧚‍♀️ Also has many cute spots to take pictures as well as to sit and eat. The menu has cute waffles that look like donuts and the menu includes gluten free options as well! 🧇😊 10/10

Heard a lot of good things, even the reviews are overall good. Location is ok, atmosphere is nice. Building itself is really cool. Ordered the Captain Obvious for breakfast with a large coffee. The coffee was above average and had a great price. Breakfast was $9 for the plate. When it arrived I literally asked the people I was with if it was fair food....one small waffle, one slice of cheap bacon, and a fried egg. The waffle was a little dry and without much flavor. Average as far as waffles go, but nothing to write home about. The bacon was thin and overcooked. The kind you get at Save A Lot on sale as a manager special. Egg was fine, hard to screw that up. They advertise 6 waffles for $20. I think for 9 they could do a little better with the Capt. Obvious. No offense is meant, just my honest opinion.

The most amazing waffle breakfast Ive ever had. I ordered Oh Duh and even though there wasnt a whole lot to it, it really melted in my mouth. The atmosphere was awesome as well.

Everything about our experience was great! Our Captain Obvious sandwiches were delicious, and the staff was all very friendly. Put together with the location and the adorable decor, I would highly recommend!

Service is a little slow and would prefer plates over trays, but the staff are super friendly and the food is fantastic! They were very accommodating of my dietary needs, which is surprisingly rare these days.

My first thought walking up to this coffee house was wow, what fun place. The repurposed shipping containers works really well with creating a cozy spot to enjoy some coffee. The coffee itself was great as well. We had a couple waffle items off the menu and were not disappointed, at all. I highly recommend this place.

Let me preface this review with the reason I deducted one star - location. I am not from the area, when GPS took me to a warehouse district near a large food plant, I thought for sure I was lost. It wasnt an easy area to navigate, but I am glad I stayed on the path to Wonder Coffeehouse. We arrived at a small coffeehouse with a drive thru with the smell of Cheerios around the corner.We went through the drive thru since it was raining. The menu was a little difficult to read, but my husband and I have fairly generic coffee orders. We get vanilla lattes, and I substitute almond milk when available which it was at Wonder. If you dont like coffee, you can also get shakes with additions like protein.The showstopper at Wonder are the little wonders. We had no idea what to expect when I spontaneously added a 1/2 dozen to our order. And I was pleasantly surprised to open the box to 6 little dough ball wonders. The taste of the dough reminds me of a donut/funnel cake. The 1/2 dozen was an assortment of toppings with some covered in cereal. What a lovely breakfast experience.We were not able to eat all six at once, but I will add that even two days later these little wonders still tasted fresh, though not warm. I would encourage visiting Wonder Coffeehouse if not for your morning coffee, but the unique waffle wonders that do not disappoint!

Ordered the waffle treats for a Team meeting and they were an instant hit! Such a variety of deliciousness, our senses went into overload. Waffles coated with chocolate, cinnamon, lucky charms, sprinkles and more. I kept hearing how good they were but trust me, words do no justice until you have one - so go get one, two or three dozen, so worth it :) Thanks Michelle you are an amazing Ambassador for Wonder Coffeehouse!

We seen this place on a Google search. What a nice find! We had great service, very polite and helpful. The use of shipping containers was really different. This coffee house is so adorable and welcoming. We came in with our young kids and the owners were kind enough to let us monopolize the back room while the place was quiet. Coffee was great and so was the food! My kids loved the mini waffles.

I visited this place for the first time during Music is Art, and was very impressed with the service. Staff were so friendly and handled the rush like champs through it all! I really enjoyed the iced chai with oat milk. Love that they have plant milk options for their drinks, but would love to see some vegan/plant-based food options as well. I will be back!

Excellent service and plenty of parking. The owner said welcome back to me even though was my first time there lol probably confused me with another Asian. Chicken and waffles were okay. It was too much syrup, they should have just put on the side. Wished they didnt use chicken tenders though. Waffle Sandwiches and coffee were decent. Place looks nice and is well designed. Food took a while to serve even though was a relatively small portion

Coffee was excellent.Chicken and waffles was a touch sweet for my tastes. The honey flood didnt leave much balance. I personally would have liked a touch of butter and salt.

This coffee house is out of this world! I don’t even have the words to describe how good it is, and I don’t think there is a word! The coffee, the waffles, the service, and the environment are superb, BEYOND excellent! This is a MUST if you are staying, or are even just passing through. Don’t settle for less, because you will miss out on great coffee, and a wonderful experience! Being from Nebraska, we are always looking for the best coffee when traveling, and this matches up, even surpasses any coffee shop we have been to. Please do yourself a favor and don’t think, just come! No need to thank me, thank them!

What a wonderful little concept! This is one of the neatest coffee houses Ive been too. If we werent passing through the area, I would have wanted to sit and stay a few hours because they have done such a wonderful job with the atmosphere. We did not try their food, but coffee was good!

Stopped in a few days ago for breakfast and was not disappointed! Such a cute place, the PB Cup Mocha was awesome, and our food was excellent. The staff could not be more genuinely friendly. They were very busy and able to get orders out quickly. Will definitely be back!

Stopped in the other day and was amazing how from the street this place looks tiny but once inside it’s amazing how nicely decorated this place is. This coffee/waffle place is the go to stop for anyone who wants to get a step outside your busy life to enjoy good coffee and amazing food prepared on the spot for you. The person who was at the counter was very friendly and very knowledgeable in the ways of coffee as well and even offered tips and provided insight on how to make the best coffee for ME. I can not stress this enough how above and beyond this place is.

Like actually happy to have you there. Then the coffee was really good. Then the food. I had the “captain obvious “. Literally the best breakfast I’ve ever had. Lol. So good. My daughter had “I mean duh” with banana. She couldn’t stop raving about it. I love to support a local place and this place is a total home run. I wish them huge success. Buffalo peeps give them a try.

Really like the relaxed atmosphere. Cappacino was good. Waffle dipped in chocolate with a sprinkle of peanut butter cereal (?). Was really good.

The pros: Friendly staff, good coffee, awesome location, trendy atmosphereThe cons: The coffee took forever to arrive, the waffles were dry, and they served everything in disposable containers. If the choice to use disposable products is attributable to COVID-19 , then my apologies; otherwise, this is an unforgivable practice and inconsistent with the restaurant’s modern vibe. I would expect a place like this to embrace sustainability. The whole experience felt incomplete, like the beta version of a new operating system. I think this place has enormous potential. It just needs a few finishing touches.

Literally the best waffles Ive ever had in my life. All of the staff are super nice and helpful. Everything from what I know is entirely made to order, and you can 100% tell, it is exactly how it looks as advertised, and tastes even better, do yourself a favor and try this place out. They have really good coffee too, and have special lattes, as of writing this Ive only tried the Lucky Charms, but it was delicious.

Its gorgeous and cute. I love the look and the feel of thr decor. I had a specialty waffle and an iced chai latte. The waffle tasted off to me ND was a but breadlike however my wife enjoyed it. I also was not a fan of their chai mix. Im not sure if it was milk or some milk substitute but it tasted off. Their gift shop had great scented candles and cards. I wouldnt go out of my way to head back but Id give them Nother try if Im in the area again. Their breakfasts smelled delicious, so Ill probably swap that for a waffle ND try their coffee next time.

We cant get enough of this place! The space is amazing with plenty of different areas to sit. We ended up hanging out there for a while since the space was so cool. We had a latte and a hot apple cider, both were fantastic. Food wise we tried the Millennial Fuel which was 10/10 delicious. Great place with great people and we cant wait to come back again.

Wonder Coffee is the only place I know of in Buffalo where you can get fresh Leige Waffles. They are heavier and sweeter than Belgium Waffles

I don’t ever write reviews but this place is amazing. I got the Captain Obvious and an iced caramel Macchiato and both were delicious. Nick was super cool and friendly too. Definitely worth it.

Not usually a waffle fan but went along when invited by family. Let me just say that the waffles are amazing! I had one that tasted like a s’more. Excellent. I also like the fact that they have repurposed an older building-antique espresso maker will catch your eye as you walk in the door. Inside and outside seating. Will definitely be back.
