Literally the smoothest and creamiest ice cream I have ever had. So good every time.

Delish! Fast service for a small shop. They may have an expansive selection but what they do have makes up for that with creativity and flavor. Also, havent seen a churro for sale anywhere else in the city.

Can we officially title this place the best churro in WNY??! It really is the best churro but the ice cream is flavorful, unique and most of all fun. We need fun! The line and wait gets long, more than 35 minutes for your order once placed. Ive now visited more than 4 times and Ive updated my review to reflect this wait time but its definitely worth a visit!

Great flavor combinations! Love the churros, it was definitely my favorite part. The ice cream was just very very thick and I couldnt finish the whole thing. Would come back!

I went there before the day I left Buffalo. Initially I thought the churros might be delicious and the ice cream will be ok. But it turned out opposite. I only recommend the ice cream, it was creamy and tasty. The churros were like crunchy shells without chewy part in the middle which creates the wonderful balanced texture.

Churns has great ice cream, not to mention their Churro sundaes are REALLY GOOD! I had a Velvet Room and it tasted pretty sweet! The Churros were the best part!Id love to see them experiment with Oreo Churros (in the style of what Regal Cinemas did 5 years ago, a dream come true?) but check it out. If youre from Buffalo, its on Hertel Avenue.

Love this place still..Now that the winter months are upon us, its good to know that Churn will be staying open all year round. This visit I got the month special, it was the German chocolate sundae. The ice cream was flavored like custard or even butter cream ice cream, and it was topped with chocolate syrup, coconut shavings, pecans,caramel and of course chocolate cake as the base. Very good treat to have, especially at this time of year.

Great selection of pimped up soft serves (including a vegan pumpkin pie flavour which was absolutely banging! Portion sizes are large and were a great desert after the tacos from next door. Also a good selection of take home desserts. Place is lacking in ambiance a little, very brightly lit, maybe more of a daytime spot.

I died and went to soft serve heaven. The pistachio soft serve is delicious, especially in their house made waffle cone! The staff is incredibly welcoming and friendly. A great local business!

The ice cream was so good here! We got the vegan Trix ice cream and it was like nothing Ive had before. So tasty! Ill definetly come back.

I will start by saying it is absolutely delicious but to charge 9$ after tax is highway robbery. The only reason I wouldn’t come back is because of the price. Atleast increase the size at that price or perhaps add another churro.

I love ice cream! Churn serves soft serve ice cream, and at the time of our visit, they had about 4 flavors to choose from (including a vegan option!). However, they have a variety of toppings and menu creations to choose from. I had The Billionaire, and it was delicious. My friend also got a churro, and said it was delicious. We will definitely be back!

Everything Ive gotten here is delicious! Little bit more expensive than some other places in the area, but youre not getting basic soft serve. Very creative menu options with fun names, and they have a secret of the week. Friendly staff and a fun environment as well.

Awesome ice cream shop that offers unique toppings & tasty ice cream. They even have vegan options - I am not vegan, but I LOVE their vegan ice cream. It is a blend of vanilla and light coconut flavor. Excellent customer service as well!

I find Churn better than Lloyd’s, which is pretty bad, but the ice cream is way too sweet tasting. All around, a couple addresses to pass by.

Delicious, fresh and super creamy ice cream always. I dont know what theyre secret is tbh but the best soft serve ever. Im not a churro person, but wheb my husband gets them I get one bite and theyre absolutely delicious. Definitely try the ice cream here and also the staff are always sweet!

Churn offers a regularly rotating seasonal menu of ice cream creations with in-house soft serve custard as the base. They do not offer hard scoop ice cream, as an FYI.Quality is good and variety of additions is great, putting them in the premium category of ice cream in Buffalo. For example one cone got a strawberry dip with crumbled shortbread cookies and lemon zest. They offer regular cones and sprinkles, but their creations are why you really want to go here.

First time going here since they opened. The service was phenomenal! Ive never met such an enthusiastic clerk! He explained the whole menu to us and made sure our order was correct! The team member making the sundaes had my order ready by the time we finished paying, we didnt even have to wait. We were very impressed! Also impressed that they serve coffee here too! I ordered the unbirthday sundae which was good but would taste better if the ice cream was birthday cake flavoured. Next time I will definitely try one of their signature churn items!

The ice cream sandwiches are FANTASTIC.

The ice cream is always good and I love their inventive flavors. It is a good summer treat. The only reason I have 4/5 stars is because its hard to socially distance but its not their fault. Its on a busy street and they are doing what they can with what they have. I recommend it!

I had the chocolate and vanilla twist soft serve. Probably one of the best Ive ever tasted. The home made waffle cone is definitely worth the little extra money. My boyfriend had the vegan ginger snap biscuit sandwich with coconut ice cream. It was so creamy and smooth, didnt taste like there wasnt milk in it. Great staff and brilliant service!

Hands down one of my favorite ice cream places in Buffalo. I love their vegan coconut ice cream. Their Samoan churned dessert is my personal favorite. And you get an icon yellow spoon that you can use again and again.

Been curious about trying the ice cream here for awhile and finally was in the area and able to try it. Very friendly staff and a cute little shop with a good amount of outdoor seating. Prices seem reasonable especially considering sizes and comparing to other ice cream shops. Not a huge menu, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Despite being small, there’s plenty of options on it. I got their plain chocolate soft serve which was super creamy and a great size for the price. My sister got a vegan sundae off the list which was pretty intense looking. The churro in it was delicious but in general, I found the ice cream to be a bit too sweet. If in the area, I’d definitely return to try out more of their offerings!

Churn has easily earned a spot in my top 3 local ice cream places. The menu is fairly simple but so inviting. I wanted to try everything on the menu. I had The Velvet Room which is vanilla soft serve, red velvet cake pieces, cream cheese frosting with a dash of lemon zest. This is put together in a large sundae dish with generous sized churros standing tall behind this delicious blend of flavors. Be sure to check out what the weekly special is!!

Every bit as wonderful as Lloyd. Love the employees, too. I like ordering a vegan cone (please keep the plain coconut! Its even good in the mint condition!) with their caramel and peanuts - their concoctions are excellent, but this is my go-to (and they have kiddie sizes!). If youre not willing to try the vegan (though you should) the dairy is pasture-raised and local (theyre also great at informing you of non-vegan ingredients). Oh! And pretty much EVERYTHING is house-made. (Also, note to management - I am one of those people who would definitely come for milkshakes should you decide to start serving them :) )

The ice cream is delicious, and I really enjoy the flavors they offer. Only 3 stars because it is expensive, and I would not say its kid friendly, so minus 1 star each for those drawbacks.

We stopped for an ice cream treat, though they do have vegan options that all sounded very good. We had to try the Lisa Turtle, because we are old enough to get the reference! It was delicious! The coconut base was amazing, and the fried churro garnish was a nice treat.

After going for lunch at Lloyds, we walked next door for dessert at Churn. It was a super hot day so we ordered ice cream with caramel and churros. It was so pretty and quite yummy. The only complaint is that the churros were cold. Their creations are so fun and they have lots of treats.

Great place for ice cream. Was happy to see so many vegan options. Service was fast and staff very friendly. Great patio area right on the Hertel strip.

Decided to come here for a little Sunday afternoon treat. The kids ordered ice cream tacos. They loved them. They look very appetizing. I had the Take 6. It too was very good. I like that the ice cream isn’t overly sweet. I also had a cup of coffee. Surprisingly, this is probably some of the best coffee I’ve had in the area. We’ll be back for sure.

The flavors arent there. The churros - which are on half the menu items - are not good at all. Appreciate that they have a vegan ice cream, but thats about all.

The place is clean, and looks nice. Low resting Id for to the fact that for an ice cream place they have a severe lack of flavor options. Vanilla, chocolate, coffee, and vegan coconut are the only over cream flavors available. They do have a decent amount of styles in which you can have ice cream though.

We were super excited for the soft serve however, there was much left to be desired after our experience. My friends sprinkles were forgotten and the ice cream was more icey than creamy. The sundaes sounded amazing but didnt live up to expectations. The one redeeming quality was the service. All of the employees were nice and helpful. The location is great too. Just wish the ice cream lived up to it.

This place is incredibly adorable on the inside with gorgeous graphics on the walls that are fun and super sized. They have a nice selection of specialty cones and sundaes, with interesting names and thoughtful toppings. I recently had one with Nutella and chocolate candy bits on top, and it was delicious. I like that they have coconut ice cream available which you don’t often see in a place with limited flavors. They even have freezy pops that are homemade, available! They also have espresso and coffees, so there is something for everyone, even those who don’t want a sweet after a meal. The staff is always very nice, super happy to be there, and incredibly friendly. I wish I lived closer so I could have it more often.

This place is awesome and their food is delicious. The staff is considerate and mindfull, and when I order their vegan ice cream option, they have always made sure to inform me of other ingredients in my order that are not vegan. I do not eat a vegan diet (I just like the coconut ice cream) but I appreciate the fact that they would want to make me as a customer aware of that so I could make an informed decision. The space is nice too, bright, enjoyable, Id highly recommend you eat ice cream here.

Really awesome lighting & atmosphere, connected to Taco Factory. Grass fed milk is used to make the ice cream, but their vegan ice cream is coconut based & its delicious! My favorite to grab while here is the Samoan.

Been sold out of the vegan options basically since they opened. Ive tried going 3 times now (as I live close by) only to find out they are STILL out of coconut ice cream. :( I was super excited about this place too since I love every thing else about it.

Ice Cream didnt have much flavor. It was more icy than creamy. But their Chai Tea Latte was on point. They have cool flavor ideas, but their actual ice cream just doesnt taste that good.

The base of the ice cream is soft serve. Basically the same you can get anywhere. But what makes them different is the add-ins to make the different sundae.

Innovative, delicious ice cream treats.

This was my 1st time here and I really wanted to love this place but I didnt. The staff was friendly and the location was clean. My ice cream was ok I got the rocky road which is my favorite so its hard to mess up but the marshmallows were different kind of like they were flash frozen so they were crunchy. Their plain chocolate or vanilla was good nice & creamy. I had my daughter with me and the atmosphere was kid friendly but not many options for a child. Also, I love dogs but not while Im eating. There was a big dog their and the staff was petting him and serving so it was not very sanitary. I would not go back as it was pricey and I dont see the value.

Man oh man, I LOVE ice cream. I dont mean like the way everyone enjoys ice cream... I mean like when I move to a new city, I find my favorite pizza place, my fav Indian restaurant, my fav Thai place, and my fav independent ice cream shoppe. Ive always believed a great place can get by with a small menu, churn only has four flavors of ice cream, but realistically, thats all they need. I usually get a coffee/coconut twist on a waffle cone. The cone, by the way, is possibly the best Ive ever had. I highly recommend Churn.

Popped over after a visit to Lloyds and was greeted with helpful friendly staff who ensured we understood the menu. The coconut vegan ice cream was the perfect way to end our meal and when the heat calls for ice cream, well be back!

Not a lot of options and prices are a little high but it is good ice cream. The staff is also friendly and very nice.

Good ice cream. Dirty patio. No clean tables, or being maintained by staff. Sticky and old ice cream on table tops. No trash can outside , have to walk back through building to dispose of trash
