This was such a lovely little shop. I got the Starfire and it was a delicious breakfast as well as my favorite DC hero. I really love the atmosphere in this Cafe and the DC comics theme.

I adore this place. It is definitely my favorite coffee shop in Buffalo thus far. They have delicious food options, everything has tasted fresh and homemade. The coffee, of course, is great as well. There was a band playing here yesterday (unfortunately, I forgot their name), but they were the perfect Saturday afternoon coffee shop vibe. There are outlets everywhere for your laptop, and a great variety of seating options (couch and chat, desk and work,etc.). All of the staff have been extremely friendly and welcoming. I love it here.

Very clean and covid safe. Everyone was wearing masks and there was some outdoor seating. It was very cozy inside. I had an everything bagel that was great. I also got a caramel coconut latte that was awesome! Would go back again.

Was at the Daily Planet for the Wordism event and that was my 1st time there and I love the place. The atmosphere was so comfortable and the food was great will definitely be going back there in the future.

I go to the Daily Planet couple of times each week. I live four blocks away, I either Bike or walk. The Coffee is great, not too strong like Star Bucks, but better than Tim Hortons. Their Cakes, Cookies, Cheese Cake, Bagels are always on point. Good seating to relax. The back ground music on the other hand, is too relaxing, like listen to old folk or hippy music. They need more modern music or at least Classic Rock haha. But other than their back ground music, i love the Daily Planet. The Staff are always friendly. I love the blonde with the long hair, shes always nice. She would make a great wife just saying. Look forward to my cup coffee leave some out so I can put in the coffee and creamer and a cheese cake or a cream cheese bagel. :)

Waffle is the best, do try it instead of usual breakfast. Peruvian coffee is more like usual coffee no different (if you had actual coffee from Peru) Ambiance is calm with soothing music. Live music is a plus.

I love this place. Really really good coffee. The daily brew is an organic fair trade medium roast from New Guinea. The espresso is really nice with an almond flavor. Wonderful baked goods, I love the salted caramel brownie, today I had the blueberry lemon loaf and its equally as good. I really like that they support local non-profits, local art, local business and local musicians. They often do fundraisers, and they provide a stage for local musicians to play original music every week. Very committed to community, very good food.

Cozy little quiet place

This was a quaint little shop with a wide selection of leaf teas and some comfort food. I got a coffee and sat down. Had a nice little live music player and fun atmosphere. Had a good time with my friends and when i was alone after as well. Great place to stay a spell and soak in the amazing energy

Also kudos for effort to locally source and recycle effort. There are small merchandises for sale to support local people. And a bookshelf with books to read as well as board games!

I really love this coffee shop. It has such a nice feel, a nice vibe. The coffee is always delicious, and the food is the best. I love the Turkey Gouda panini and the chocolate cake. I really love the bagel breakfast sandwiches too, the bagels are so tasty. The people behind the counter are always so friendly, and the live music is a real treat.

Best espresso ever

Daily Planet has been on our radar for a while now and we finally decided to drop in. The place is fairly spacious with tables near the service counter and more in the larger area up front. There was a live music performance the day we visited, but still it wasnt overwhelming as far as noise level is concerned. The decor is modern, standard coffee house stuff, with a chalkboard menu and window seats. The atmosphere was lively and the place was almost full, yet it never seemed crowded. Service was friendly and efficient; place your order and wait on the side, and servers seemed to have a good knowledge of the menu. Coffee selection was varied but not overwhelming, and several non-coffee drinks were offered such as teas and lattes.

Ive been by twice on Saturdays, its a reasonably busy spot on Saturday morning work a diverse crowd. I had a latte both times, it was good; the baked goods were even better. Its a little loud, but not unbearably so. There are some neat little private rooms where musicians seemed to be practicing, which could be fun.

Cozy but plenty of room to spread out. My favorite spot when I need to get work done, get a large cup of their house brew for $3 and conquer the day. You will love the local vibe here.

They have a great atmosphere with live music frequently. I spoke with the manager briefly and it was apparent he cares about his ingredients and customers. I would highly recommend checking Daily Planet out if you havent.

This place is so awesome. The staff is so nice. The atmosphere is very welcoming and the live music is a wonderful touch. The coffee is so good and way better than spot coffee by a long shot. It is always packed but you can always find a seat. The salted caramel brownie is my favorite!!

My kids and I love visiting this stand alone coffee shop. The desserts are fabulous! The staff is friendly and helpful. I wish the menu was a little more straight forward. I always feel confused by what the options are each time I visit.

I love the old buildings in Buffalo. This one is comfy and sells good coffee and some food. The prices arent crazy and staff is friendly. I will be coming back for sure!

Idk what happened to this place. They have great coffee but around the summertime their entire staff changed and its been horrible service since. My drinks are usually wrong and if I order the same.thing it comes back different depending on whos working. Its really a shame because this is a good location and like I said the product is high quality. But service is terrible. Their staff is a revolving door

This is such a great place. The coffee, food, and desserts are fantastic. They source a lot from other local businesses and are always finding ways to support local charities. With a music lesson studio attached, there are tons of great acts coming through all the time. Its got a really comfortable and inviting feel and has become an important part of the Hertel neighborhood growth.

Have been attending this restaurant for about two years, customers and myself are extremely happy, inexpensive, convenient and large servings of quality hand made fresh, organic and delicious gluten free, vegetarian and meat lovers varieties of food. Always loved it here. Extremely recommend it :)

Theres always local artwork on the walls, and oftentimes live musicians on the stage. The menu has a great variety, and everything Ive had so far has been delicious. I love that Daily Planet is close enough to be my go-to local coffee place. They always pour a good cup of coffee. Snacks are decent, too. Super easy to grab a cup or meet friends for a chat. Live music most days. Lots of groups meet here. Definitely a community gathering place.

The new hip Hertel Ave spot - and an awesome cup of coffee! Luv this place. Gr8 spot to relax, warm up with hot one or cool down with a cold brew... wonderful atmosphere. Picked up a bag of their coffee beans and listened to some awesome live classical music! I grew up a block away from this spot, which used to be a pharmacy - Parker Drugs for those who know. Turned into this mighty coolio coffee shop! Kudos to the Daily Planet! Hope to be bk soon.

The coffee is excellent. I ordered a breakfast sandwich with egg, cheese, and sausage. It was very good. The staff is very friendly. They have seating inside and a very welcoming atmosphere. They also use cups made from recycled material and send their coffee grinds for organic disposal. I enjoyed that they are environmentally conscious.

I went to the Daily Planet coffee house for the first time with my wife and my brother and sister in law today and We absolutely loved it! My wife had the Turkey Gouda sandwich with a hot chocolate and I had the Three Cheesy with a French vanilla white mocha. The quality of the food and drinks was excellent. The atmosphere was very relaxing and the music that was performed by Dave and Kathy Recchione was very nice 😊 If you have never been to the Daily Planet coffee house, you should seriously consider it. I will definitely be back again.
