I had my car towed into Advanced. They took it gladly and were working on it less than a day later. They determined the problem and I got involved as well with a part suggestion. Once the part was in they installed it and finished reassembly. They did a great job. I know I can trust them to do repairs that will last and know they understand whatever comes their way.

Bad experience. Very rude manager/owner.Our car got in accident two months ago. The agent from Geico gave us a listing with an approved auto shops.The car was transferred from the body shop to this place and at the end they ended up with taking a car to an authorized dealership. Apparently the car was sitting at this place for a month. When I got there the manager wasnt polite. He almost was yelling at me. The car was dirty and another thing not sure were but the battery was killed. Another my complaint - the mechanic was slamming the door, hood, trunk and he broke the fuse box upper cover (slammed). They refused to explain me what are mechanical issues. On my question to manager why he is being so rude he said you are peace of ***, get out of here and no one will talk to me for no cost. Dose this sound professional?

When my belt broke 65 miles from home, at 5 oclock...I knew it was going to be a long shot at getting home. The people at VTech went above and beyond to do what they could. Unable to get a tow until the shop was closed. A mechanic opted to stay, not even knowing what he was in for. Due to CoVid, I was not able to Ride with the tow operator. Ron from VTech drove to my vehicle, and gave me a lift back to the shop. Despite every effort, they found a more severe issue, and had to order a part. Again, they went way above my expectations, and helped me find a hotel room nearby. Ron then dropped me off at the hotel. They fixed the car the next day, and the cost was very reasonable considering the effort they put forth. I would have never expected service at this level as a new customer, but I will not hesitate to return, hopefully for less demanding service!

The men here have been professional, honest, and treat us like family - everything we expect from our mechanics. During our first visit, our one car was dying and it was suggested even though it cost them some business that we not fix it but replace it. Ron/Dave you are truly amazing and we thank you so much for fitting us into your busy schedule at the last minute. We live in California and we were in the process of purchasing a used Land Rover LR4. Even though we had the CarFax reports, we wanted to have it thoroughly inspected before we pulled the trigger. Im so glad we did. They ran complete diagnostics, test drove it, and did a full visual inspection. Then they provided us with a thorough and comprehensive report of what they found. The car was out of warranty and there were a couple codes that pointed to possible transmission problems. When we approached the dealer with the issues they denied that they were actual problems. In the end we decided it was not worth the risk and we backed out. I truly feel we made the right decision and saved ourselves a lot of money and grief with the help of Advanced Vtech. Emissions rejected my car because of a broken connector. These Gentleman took care of the issue right away, all it turned out to be was a broken clip on the housing of said connector. Even though it was almost closing time they applied a temporary fix free of charge. I made it back to Emissions center and passed. Saved me an hour trip. Thank you so much!Everyone was very courteous and professional. I would not hesitate to bring my cars here for anything. I wish they were closer to home, but I will still make the drive for major repairs.

I came in for a routine oil change and a couple concerns about the vehicle. Mentally, I was prepping myself for a few hundred dollars in repairs but was pleasantly surprised when I was told one of the issues was a little corrosion they cleaned up and the other issue could wait due to low usage, but should be monitored. They also replaced a bulb free of charge to add icing on the cake. Ive been using this shop for a year now and this kind of service is what brings me back to them. Thank you Dave and Ron!

Quality and affordable vehicle maintenance. Impressive shop involved in state-of-the-art fuel conversion for fleet vehicles. Talented staff also perform routine maintenance on older vehicles. Drove my 2001 family vehicle over 800 miles the following week with no issues. Recommend phoning them in advance so they can schedule and plan. Bonus: Long Grove Chocolate Factory outlet is across the street.

Came here for a wheel alignment based on the good reviews. Front desk guy was friendly and polite. After an hour of waiting they told me they couldnt perform the alignment because my upper control arms and lower control arm was bad. They quoted me $1400 for the parts and labor. I bought new bushings for the upper control arms ($20 total) and replaced them myself. As far as the lower control arm there was nothing wrong and another shop did the alignment without a problem for even less than what Advanced Vtech quoted me. I will not come here again.

Five stars! I stopped by this to get my car repaired and they did the work with much determination and was out very fast. I will definitely recommend this great shop to everyone I know.

These guys not only fixed my car but also saved me thousands of dollars. After another expert convinced me that I needed my transmission rebuilt I took my car to them after I saw the high reviews. Yet instead of unnecessarily fixing my transmission for $3000 or more, they diagnosed the problem as lying elsewhere and offered to correct it for less than $500. Needless to say I am a very happy and probably soon a returning customer!

Talked to the owner, very nice and extremely informative. Called on a Sat afternoon after hours, received a phone call back even though it was the weekend at after hours. Setup for appointment for the following Monday. Very easy to communicate with and setup the appointment. Had an oil leak above the engine, diagnosed quickly with again very detailed and informative response, and friendly and trustworthy manner. Great pricing and work. I recently moved to the area and was looking for a reliable place to start taking my car to. My car runs on synthetic oil so I dont need oil changes every time; I follow the maintenance guide for my car instead. I called them up and listed the various things I needed checked and standard maintenance to be done. I was excited that they could drive me to work while they fixed up my car. I had to wait a little in the morning for them to assist me, and then the guy ran a little late to pick me up (it was rush hour, understandable). I got a text or two with updates and a request for a small amount of additional work to be done; that was nice. But while they were really nice, I found out the guy forgot to note that my tires needed rotating. I had to wait 20 extra minutes at the shop for it to be done when they had my car all day. They never double checked with me what needed to be done. There was no compensation for them forgetting or even a simple apology; he made me feel like I was in the wrong and had never told him I wanted a tire rotation (again, I had my manual in front of me while on the phone and listed what needed to be done). While they are local and very nice, I was very disappointed. Unfortunately I will have to take my business elsewhere.

I own many cars and have gone through my share of mechanics, and I can spot an honest one when I see it. I was stranded 2000 miles from home in my road trip and Dave took care of me like you wouldnt believe. Didnt charge me an extra dime and even drove me to a local motel. The shop is extremely well organized and taken care of, and that says a lot about its owner too. You wont go wrong with this place. They will not lie to you.

We had some unfortunate dealings with my wifes vehicle at another service center - the dealership botched a very routine repair. We needed an unbiased pair of eyes to make sure they werent pulling one over on us, since they left us feeling like they were. I had a very good, if brief, experience with Advanced VTech a few months prior so they were the first place I thought to ask for help. Ill leave my feelings on the dealership to their listing, but it really bears mentioning just how friendly, polite, and reassuring everyone is at Advanced VTech.When you hang up after being grumbled at and given the runaround by the dealer and call up this place its a contrast more stark than night and day. Where the dealer made my wife feel bullied and stupid, Ron and David left her feeling informed, assured, and in control of the situation.I feel like an important part of working in any repair service is how you handle people, perhaps even more-so than the belongings theyre bringing to you to fix. Some places play off of your anxiety and try to milk you for money, other places maybe do competent work but leave you in the dark the whole time, but occasionally youll find a crew that isnt just good at what they do - theyre passionate about it.If you have any hang-ups about your car, give Ron and David a call and talk it out with them. Theyre honest, frank, and friendly. They and their crew will only do something after theyve thoroughly and clearly explained to you the entire situation in a way you can understand.

My roadside assistance company towed my car here at 9 pm on a Saturday. They called me first thing on Monday morning and kept me informed throughout the repair. They do honest work. Turns out my vehicle only needed a new main electrical fuse. An unscrupulous shop could have said my alternator needed to be replaced.

I found this place based on its proximity to my apartment and its high rating but Ive probably never had a better vehicle maintenance experience. Dave was extremely helpful and took the time to explain the mechanics of what needed to be done and did so without using diminutive pet names or being condescending, which can be the norm at other places. I went in for a thwocking noise from one of my tires and came out with my new regular maintenance shop. Couldnt be happier!

We had a complicated engine issue with our Honda CRV that my husband did not even trust the Honda dealerships to do after reading the user experiences/reviews about the issue on the Honda blogs & the fact that we got price quotes all over the place from the 6 dealerships we went to)!Dave and Ron, the coowners are honest, friendly, and knowledgeable and they have an incredible team of mechanics there - quite a wonderful team of people! We went in and talked with Dave this July - who after consulting with one of his Master Mechanics (Gary) - understood the issue and put together a detailed, reasonable price quote. Seriously - this was a complicated issue but they were able to get it done for us within the week & it has been running absolutely perfectly again!Ron & Dave kept us posted on the progress of the fix. Gary - the master mechanic that worked on our car - is a miracle worker - seriously! The quote was the price we paid - no upcharging. Decided to try this place after I received a typical bloated quote from my dealer for a brake replacement. This place was professional and courteous from the first phone call. Gave a ride back to my home after I dropped off the car. Couldnt be happier with the service and it was about 50% cheaper than the dealer if you count the loaner that I would have had to pay for with my dealer. I highly recommend this place and I would definitely go back to them in the future.
