I had to send in my tablet that was messed up. Was under the impression it was going to take 2-3 weeks tops. I mailed it and didnt hear back from them for like 2 weeks and it never came. I called them. They kind of forgot about me... When I called them they said they had to order a replacement mother board for the tablet and needed me to okay the additional cost. So, that took a week. They said they would mail it back to me a day or two after the replacement board came in. So I waited and it never came. So, I called them again and they never even shipped it back to me. It was after hours so they said they would mail it the next day. I waited a few days and decided to call them just to make sure. Turns out they didnt ship it again! Actually, they said they were shipping it out that day... Luckily they did upgrade me to 2 day shipping for free. The least they could do. They almost didnt do it though because someone else had told me that and the person I talked to didnt see that anywhere.. So it took like 5 weeks almost. I should have just gotten a new nexus 7. They are going for cheaper now too and it wouldnt have been that much more than what I ended up having to pay for the repair. I wouldnt deal with the hassle of all that again, but I guess if you have a $600 phone that needs repair and have a replacement phone to hold you over then it would be okay. You might have to be on top of them because they sure werent on top of things...

I decided to take my phone here based on reading the many positive reviews. Just had my Samsung power button repaired here oh what a relief! It has been 8 months now and still working fine! This is now my second time to have a repair same problem but different phone! Extremely professional. Knows their stuff. Great with providing excellent service at very reasonable price. This shop would be on the top of my list of recommendations for all cellphone repair.

Please be warned, I have send in my phone for the IMEI number repair and it’s been two weeks now without any responds. Before I send in my phone to Josh via MobileTechVideos for the remote services took a while but was still not working. So right now I am at a lost, I have to go out to buy a second phone if you guys are thinking of services form them please think twice before doing it. Their main line when you call it goes to voice mail and no one call back, also e-mails they do not respond. This is not the right way to treat a customer that is in need of help on fixing the phone. I chose MobileTechVideos based on very positive reviews they had received in the past few years on the XDA developers forum, but the abysmal customer service Ive experienced, as well as experiences of others who have apparently had similar issues, means that I cannot recommend this service.I ordered a smart phone repair service from MobileTechVideos on October 17, 2014 and promptly shipped my phone to them the same day, which was received in their office on October 21. I paid for 2-day rush service on my repair and expected that my repaired device would be returned to me within a week, maybe two.. Now it has been more than 12 weeks since I placed my original order (#24795), and I have received nothing: no repaired device, no refund, not even my original broken device. Repeated attempts to contact the company by email and by phone have been futile. Its as if all customer requests are directed straight to the Bermuda Triangle.I asked the Better Business Bureau to intervene on my behalf, but MobileTechVideos never responded to any of the BBBs attempts to contact them. The BBB tried phone calls and email on numerous occasions and ultimately closed the case after 30 days of unresponsiveness. The BBB has downgraded this companys rating to an F.I would advise anyone who is thinking of working with MobileTechVideos to stay far away from what, at this point, I can only assume is a scam. They have my old phone. They have the money I paid. And Im in the position of having to purchase a new phone. Thanks a lot, guys.

I hard bricked my Galaxy S3 and found MobileTechVideos online. Sent in my phone as instructed. When I got it back I smiled as I turned it on and heard it vibrate at start up. Its working great. All issues repaired. Thanks guys.

Whenever I tried to turn my phone on (Galaxy S3), it would just vibrate, and then turn off. I put it on the charger, and the same thing kept happening. So I sent it out to MobileTechVideos, and they fixed it for me. At first I was skeptical, but it was well worth the wait. When I got it, I freaked out because it wasnt turning on, but the reason for that was because my battery was dead. After I charged it up, my phone worked perfectly. Im a happy customer!

You might call my review a review without doing any physical business with this company.I followed a misleading ad that stated that: If one wrote a review on their company, they would receive a 20% discount on their tablet repair. In all honesty, it sounded like a push to get them good press by getting early reviews.I was contacted by Josh, informed him about the erroneous site, and asked that, since i did him a favor by spotting, why not give me the 20% discount for helping him avoid a situation that could (potentially) make his business look bad.Its a simple equation: I did something for you, how about returning the favor.Well, he played it stingy and asked me to remove a review (talking about the ad), even though it was the complete, total TRUTH.So, for every time he emailed me back, with some backwards statement about his integrity, i basically lowered the review one star because i found it to be a cheap, backward way of measuring integrity. I thought the ad was misleading, didnt like it, and he wanted me to remove the review.Even today, he tried to get me to pull the review but wouldnt let a few dollars go, even though i told him that i ran a computer repair business (which i do), could send him a lot of business (which i can), and i would appreciate a little discount.I do it for all my customers and, in reality, it brings me more customers because they appreciate that Im willing to LET GO of the money for more business....something ole Josh here cant seem to grasp.The morale of the story and the final point on this review is: If youre not willing to do a favor for someone who does one for you, play it cheap and expect someone to hand you a better review (on an experience that steadily got worse), youre in for a heck of a bad surprise.Hes down to 1 star, cant get any lower than that.People i just dont trust anyone who preaches about their goodness and hangs on to money THAT tightly. I can sleep at night because i KNOW how i operate my business and its not about the money, i give business (to other businesses) when someone comes to me and im not qualified or that other business owner has been good to me.Basically its called giving a little and getting a little....and this company doesnt practice it.Updated note: I find the owner of this company to be extremely laughable. He accused me of extorting him, which would imply that he would have given in and actually done the transactions. I never sent anything into him and he never gave up any kind of discount for any help given about his misleading ad that was posted.In all, dire, honesty i would have never done business with this man considering the incredible amount of negative feedback that i read before dealing with him. Sent my Galaxy Note 2 in for a bootloader unlock and custom ROM. They received it on Monday, and already on its way back to me for delivery tomorrow. When you pay the very minimal extra for Rush service, you get what you pay for! So far , I contacted Mobiletechvideos and the young lady whom I spoke to was very informative and suggested a standard jtag repair for my Galaxy note. I was convinced pleasantly to buy into this service and so I will see if it is any good. when I get my phone I will revise this rating based on the finished result. so far I did not feel suspicious over the phone like I have with other companies I have talk to.

After Bricking my Galaxy S3 while trying to swap my SD cards on a Cyanogenmod Rom which is a big no no, I thought I ended up with an expensive paperweight. I was really trying to find where I could sell my expensive paperweight when I found their Ad which gave me a glimmer of hope, I called, explained the situation and within 10 days I had my phone working like new and with the ROM that I wanted. Which was Great :-)

Since October, this business has gone into silent mode... If you want your phone fixed, go somewhere else. No one really knows whats going on except those who live/work there. Read others latest reviews... These folks are dead in the water and have no interest in letting people know whats going on.If you have not got your phone(s) back, start the refund process with your bank or Paypal ASAP!!! Fixed Phones Every Time. I have had a couple of phones that were bricked and the locals told me to throw them away. For a very reasonable fee I sent it to Josh. Never had an issue, I appreciated saving my phones and the big money to replace them.

Poor and slow costumer service. I was not satisfied with my services. I want my Galaxy note upgraded to the next rom. Not being satisfied with the rom, I ask to downgrade the phone back to the original rom. I never got that. I had to pay for each shipping cost when I was trying to send the phone back for the correct services. They advertise a business number that is not reachable or answerable. It was the worse experience ever. I ended up selling that headache phone to someone else. The phone was never the same. I wasted time and more importantly money with this company!

I was irresponsible with my Samsung Galaxy S2 and decided to root it and install a new ROM without a lot of experience. Unsurprisingly, I bricked it. It was stuck in a reboot loop and wouldnt get past the boot screen. After none of my local cell phone repair shops could help me, a friend recommended MoblileTechVideos. I was installing an update on my Galaxy S3 and something went wrong. The phone wouldnt turn on, wouldnt boot, wouldnt even charge, a condition known as hard bricked. Somehow I had erased the OS, Recovery, Hboot, everything. Since I had a custom rom, Verizon wouldnt service it. MobielTechVideos was able to bring my phone back from the dead in about a week. My T-Mobile LG G2 decided to lose its IMEI. After trying everything else, including Qualcomm software, LG software, etc I got a referral to these guys. So I purchased the IMEI fix. My Galaxy S3 i9300 all of a sudden went dead on its own. Tried many local shops and they had no idea. Samsung refused to deal with it because it just went out of warranty and also because its an Australian model (I bought on newegg in the US). Found this video and then was pretty sure I had the SDS, so I contacted Josh at MobileTechVideos. He actually suggested I do a cheaper JTAG diagnostic first, in case its not the SDS. And once confirmed it is SDS, he simply applied my diagnostic fee to the EMMC replacement fee. He did change the chip, but then something else went wrong. He actually kept working on it to try to get it fixed, and then eventually went the extra miles to replace the board at no extra charge. I got a perfectly functioning phone back and I cant thank Josh enough. Id highly recommend MobileTechVideos to anyone who has smart phone problems. Josh is an expert, he cares about his customers, and he charges a very reasonable price. What more could you ask?
