Very good service!! Called at 12 OO noon and service tech was here at 4:15. Fixed problem in short order. The tech was very courteous and knowledgeable. Very pleased.

The internet is a little slow, but ok most of the time.But it sucks when it rains, it slows WAY DOWN and gets spotty. After raining for 2-3 days, no internet at all.They claim wet weather does not affect them, but this is a lie. There are others that share the frustration of being stuck with the only cable provider in the area.

Trying to get new service for over 3 months. The people at the service center have very little ability to move things along or provide any useful information on timelines. They are very nice but if you hear that Kendall is involved just go looking for internet somewhere else. No one knows why he still has a job.

Started trying to get service for our new construction home in February 2021. After numerous calls (to the main Xfinity line, which gets us nowhere) and visits to the office, finally got someone to come out and evaluate April 2021. Promised quote never arrived, despite us stressing that we were moving in that month and needed to have internet for school/work. We finally contacted Consolidated Communications and had internet about a month later. Still no word from Xfinity/Comcast.

Xfinity internet continues to be extremely frustrating and erratic, whether I’m at home or in the office. If you have other internet access options, consider using them. If you’re an internet provider, we desperately need alternatives in the coastal region of Maine.

The maize they call customer service is nothing short of abusive. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had! Looking for an alternative. They do everything they can to avoid direct voice conversation, requiring me to type out what I want to say and ask. The loops are endless and circular and their categories inadequate. In 10 years they have not only not improved, but gone downhill. Way downhill! I wouldnt have thought that was possible.

I have never in my life dealt with a more impossible customer service line. They literally do not let you get to a real person, the automated voice mishears what you say and sends you down rabbit holes of touch tones you never asked to be in.....I had signed up for cable and internet. They did not set up the cable correctly, and at this point I just want to cancel it so Im not paying for something Im not receiving. I called and followed the prompts of the automated voice- it misunderstood me and shut my internet off for 15 minutes to do a reset! And I still cannot reach a real person! This is the absolute most infuriating process I have ever dealt with.The complete lack of communication when you want to alter or cancel your account should be illegal. They only reason they can get away with this is because they are monopolizing internet service in this area.

I pay so much money for WiFi that continuously stops working. I would not recommend Comcast to anyone. About once a day I’ll be watching Netflix or Hulu and my wifi will cut out. When this happens I need to restart my whole WiFi in order to be able to use my phone or tv again. This happens much too often. Do not use Comcast.

Horrible Upload bandwidth, complete monopoly on internet access in Brunswick, and very expensive for the service they provide. You should avoid comcast at all cost. If they are your only choice cable internet its understandable to get their service, but you should look elsewhere if you can. Download speeds are usually as advertised, though upload will usually be 5Mb/s; tedious. Latency is also as high as 50ms. So in summation, avoid comcast if at all possible. As of 2021 they also have put a completely necessary and anti-consumer data cap of a measly 1.2Tb of data usage.

Buying a new phone here is as much fun as having my uncle give me a massage. Going through FedEx for shipments is asinine and not effective. I am not sure what anyone else does, but thankfully FedEx is there to deliver my package in the middle of the day (thankfully no one has jobs to be at) with no way to have the packages redirected or held anywhere. Comcast cannot put this into the order instructions and continues to use this service even though there are no pick-up locations in the region (apparently). I would be shocked but its Comcast/Xfinity, what do you expect, customer service? Haha. Anyway Ill be dropping a review on FedExs page as well so dont think this is just misdirected anger. Thanks for giving me something to do this week I needed it.

Xfinity Comcast Customer Service is a joke!! Set up service with this company for the 1st time. Went to pick up my box today as I was told to after placing my order (with no issues) and upon arrival I was told I had an outstanding account balance with them from a previous account, (which I have never done business with)!! They gave me a phone number to the collection agency handling the account and I called them. They said that they couldnt see anywhere that Comcast / Xfinity actually sent my account to them and they went far back! Called Xfinity Comcast back, and talked to the supervisor and they did a 3 way call and talked to them!! Again they got the same response they have never had a collection in my name for this company. You think this would have resolved the problem!! Heck no. Still wouldnt give me the service and told me I had to pay the balance in full for an account that I never had or an address that I never lived at! Cant provide me with a bill or tell me anything about the account, collections never heard of it and they expect me to pay for it with out any proof! Im in insential worker that was hurt on the job while providing clean air for customers at their local Supermarkets and that didnt matter! If they will treat in insential worker like this, imagine how they will treat you! Xfinity if you want me to pay a bill that I dont owe, you better provide me with a bill thats required by law!!

Absolutely awful. Paid for a 30 day package. Once that package was over, I paid $20 for another 7 day package. It lasted 1 day, then wasnt even showing up on my phone as an option to connect to. When I called after not having internet for over 48 hours, I was told the 30 day package only included 10 days of internet and thats why I cant see it now. False advertising, the 30 day package said unlimited. They could only refund $11. So basically I paid over $75 to use internet for 11 days. Such a scam. I called and asked twice to speak to a supervisor. Been waiting over 10 minutes straight of the phone ringing.

I pay >$90/month for internet. Frequently it stops for a second, or a minute even for much of a day.concast service is an oxymoron. I have trying to get internet service turned on again for days. Promises, but no results. Lots of phone calls, promised call returns never happen.On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the highest grade, concast gets 0.Nothing for nothing.I hate this company more than business Ive dealt with in my 60 years of adult life (Im 83)

Went to exchange an item I received in error. Staff member exchanged the item but also kept another item and kept the box without any explanation. The item I received worked so I was fine. I hope I wont be held accountable at some future date for the box and other item they kept.Comcast did notice a flaw in my signal months later and a service man came to my house and corrected a splitter I wrongly installed while showing me the correct way to do it. Thank you Comcast!

I would really like to say that i was taken care of but this is just not the case! They make you listen to long messages to get a human . Then elevate a ticket and it is now 4 days still no help or call, i called back and was told the ticket was parked! The people when you get them are nice and as helpful as the company policies allow. When a ticket is created you cant get a number to call to deal with the issue. I would change companies but this choice is made by others! This is years and years of the same kind of issues. I am not talking about Brunswick here! but the company! I am sure the people working in Brunswick do all they can for the people they serve!Had another similar experience this week! Then was looking through my reviews and realized nothing has changed for this company service wise in three years.

I had picked up a new modem last Friday in Brunswick. The lady who handled things was very pleasant and gave me a quick review of the ports on the back of the new modem. After setting the modem up, I encountered problems with my telephone system; I could not receive any calls nor place outbound calls without waiting for a dial tone for 7-8 seconds. When the dial tone came on, there was static on the line. After being unable to fix the problems, I was referred to a level 2 technician, Clyde, who was ultimately successful in fixing things after spending about 35 minutes with me on my cell phone. He was very professional and I am pleased with the service I received.

It would take a book to describe what I just went through with Comcast call center. Finally called executive offices and had problem partly resolved, but was at least one hour on the phone. I read two of the other reviews here (one star and absolutely agree--horrible, rude service, and absolutely no stars for representative called Sharon). Planning to write CEO Roberts about its lack of customer service. Whew!

Dealing with the Brunswick office directly is fantastic. However, the customer service you receive when calling the toll free number is horrible. Most of the time I cant understand the representative because they speak with a very heavy foreign accent. My advice is to go the the local office if you want anything done and done right.

No internet for me this Christmas. Less than a week after having cable installed at my house the line fell down, right across the road. Someone cut it and threw it in my yard. Customer service said the earliest they could be there was the next day. The next day I called them at 7:20 asking what was going on, they said it was scheduled for 8pm haha. Obviously didn’t show and when I called them back the rep said he couldn’t find a record of any of the service calls. Said he scheduled one the next day, couldn’t give a timeframe but said “let’s hope” it’ll be in the early half. That was yesterday, still waiting.

This rating is for the staff and technicians that work in the Brunswick office. They are friendly and knowledgeable about the products and services they provide. The techs are proactive about potential issues with your system. They remotely detected a lose wire in my system, contacted me, and scheduled a convenient time for a technician to come out about resolve the issue. He arrived and completed the job during the scheduled service window (on a Saturday). He was also friendly and knowledgeable. The service was provided for free.I would not give the same high rating to comcast/xfinitys call centers. The staff at the call centers speak with a learned American accent but there is still a language barrier. It can be difficult to convey the purpose of the call but they do a good job assisting you with what they think you are calling about, which, of course, is not truly helpful.

I would rate 3/5 if it was just their less-than average service, but the straight up lies and arrogance of their customer service reps, supervisors, and eventually (after many calls lasting many hours) upper level corporate management are a ridiculous joke. As a business I can not believe that my customers are hearing that my phone number is no longer in service when it is comcast who is having difficulty. I have had 2 of my builders call to ask if we have gone out of business. This started from what I can tell around 3 and it is now 4:40 and they dont think it will be up till 6:48. I been trying for over an hour to reach someone, and all you can get is computer recording after computer recording. Good luck speaking with a person. Cant wait till this contract runs out. This is on top of regular outages. Disapointing

Worse service around!! Keep moving from this company. Were to install my 93 year old Dads phone on Monday--messed up--were so sorry--set time for Wed between 8 and 10--- no show---was on the phone for hours---finally was told there was a fraud alert on the place my Dad was moving into--I would have to come to local office to fix--(Im 2000 miles away) could I have their phone number at the local office--they dont have a phone---guess what---we wont have a phone with this horrible company either---BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!

This office is staffed with people who dont want to be bothered by customers. I tried hard to give them some feedback on a service call they made for an 80 year old woman I know well. I wanted to let them know that the service tech who had went to her house to install VOIP phone service, had not preformed his job well, most likely a lack of training and a young tech with little experience...common errors, running a Blue cat 5 wire across the front of a Cream colored house, making it visible from the street...Leaving a pile of insulation, drywall drilling and wood chips on the carpet in a corner of the room behind the couch... Just sloppy work. The thing is that the folks at the office did not act as if they cared what I had to say or that I had to reconnect all of her WIFI devices because the tech had changed the Passkey from the passkey labeled on the WiFi / VOIP gateway... Anyway the details are just to give you an idea of the things they dont seem to care about...
