Came here recently for my birthday and it was great! No problems whatsoever. We wanted to come back to try the Mask room, and booked a time for 4:30pm. We discussed the time back and forth with the host as it would cut us close to our movie time, but we decided to go through with it anyways. Multiple times we were told that our booked time was for 4:30. We came back ten minutes before our booking, and our host told us we were late and even ARGUED with us about it. My feelings were genuinely hurt as I felt his demeanor was condescending and rude. Last time we came he was very friendly, but not this time around. Looking for other escape rooms to enjoy now I guess.

We went to Puzzah today and had an absolute blast!!!! My six year old daughter has been wanting to do something like this for awhile now and she loved listening to the clues and trying to help us solve them! She even found a clue by herself and was so excited. Todd was the gentleman who walked us through the experience and our story and he was a joy. He explained everything so well and engaged with the kids getting us all excited. 10/10 recommend!

This place was a lot of fun. Very reasonably priced as well! We did the Curse together and it was fun but challenging. The guy that welcomed is and helped us was very nice and did a great job as well. Highly recommend taking some time off of your shipping to check this place out! I will be back for the other 2.

I’ve done a few escape rooms at this point and this was the worst by far. If you enjoy being guided through every single clue like you are in elementary school, “okay next we have to...” then this is was a very cute escape room, I was personally looking for something a little more challenging.I should’ve been concerned when they didn’t provide a place to put my belongings, but initially let it go. When entering the first room it quickly became apparent that *spoiler* any clues that weren’t animated were the direct opposite of what the last team had. While it is great that it therefore requires no upkeep, it makes for slightly boring puzzles. Clues are given quickly and freely, often unwanted and sometimes not applicable because it is all computerized and therefore not helped by an actual person. The one time I wanted an extra clue that was actually applicable, the system ended up giving me the actual answer, which was entirely frustrating because it was the one exciting puzzle and the only one I needed a hint for. The electronic puzzles are sometimes confusing because the names of gadgets sometimes change.I think it would make an excellent elementary school birthday event, but not a good adult place. I would say they should advertise as a place designed for kids.An Edit:While I still feel the same about my experience, I am thankful for this company’s willingness to improve and humility in reaching out.

This escape room is in a Mall so it is catered to families with kids. We decided to do the most difficult room but it was still super easy. It is not a traditional escape room. It felt like you were just following/listening to instructions. It can be a great experience for kids but if you are an escape room expert, it is not very fun.

Great experience for a team building event for work. Had a lot of fun- we did the alien invasion one. Good puzzles to solve with good timing and hint availability. Be warned though- if you have a sensitivity to flashing lights, this is NOT an event for you as it made me pretty ill. (I am not removing stars for this because they do warn you and you can leave anytime).

We just had an amazing opportunity to visit The Flatiron Mall Puzzah Escape Room! As we are no strangers to the escape world we hold our hosts to a very high standard and we were not disappointed. Puzzah was top notch and next level on all fronts from a friendly greeting to some of the highest tech rooms in the business! We hung around and played 3 rooms and all had one common theme.... AWESOME! This is a company that is family friendly and is geared towards teamwork and communication. Don’t miss this one when in the Brookfield area! We will be back!

Definitely not your typical escape room. My husband and I were walking around flat irons trying to burn an hour before Apple finished some repair work on my phone. We found this place and thought it might be fun to try out. This was our third escape room company and we were hoping for a bit of a challenge. When we walked in it seemed pretty legit, they had good decor and the sign above the counter stated it was for all age groups and would present a challenge. It was the typical $25 price tag per person. Now lets get to the room.We walk in and the environment is spot on, they did a really good job designing the room and we were excited to get started. The theme was an alien spaceship that you were held captive in. Once the door closed we were introduced to the scenario by a narrator with an over the top cowboy accent, it was a bit detracting from the otherwise well done set and felt like it took away from the space ship atmosphere. Not only is this guy the narrator, but he interrupts about every five minutes to give you hints on the puzzles. This was really annoying to us, but it was explained to me that they are experimenting with different options including a request for clues system. Now lets get to the actual puzzles without spoiling the room. The puzzles were a lot different from other escape rooms, we were not tasked with seeking clues to discover how to solve the puzzle it was just there ready for you to solve. The system relied on electronics and would allow you to progress as you solve one puzzle to the next. This was a lot different from our previous experiences with escape rooms and wasnt exactly what we were expecting. We finished the first two puzzles and seriously debated walking out. By the end of the final room I was sitting down bored as my husband clicked the buttons to solve the final puzzle. This experience was in my opinion not worth our time or money. It would have been nice if the employees chatted with us before hand and clearly explained the differences between other escape rooms and this one. It definitely would have swayed us in the other direction. I would still recommend this place if its a first time escape room, or for a kids party as Im sure it could be exciting to some. If you are an escape room enthusiast I would recommend checking out their Denver location where I understand they have a more typical set up, or one of the many other escape room vendors around the metro area.*Edited on 2/10/2016I upgraded to three stars because the co-founder reached out and explained a lot of why they do the things they do and how it is an evolving process, he was glad to receive the feedback and sounds like he is openly engaged with the clients to make it an enjoyable experience.

We tried this place as our first escape room. Its more of a puzzle solving and advance system. The puzzles are explained to you and you try to figure them out. An announcer gives you hints every few minutes to keep the pace going. The puzzles are difficult but not impossible. Overall I enjoyed it. It required thought and quick thinking.

Had a great time trying to figure out the puzzles with my family. Why be over critical about the puzzles? They were fun and entertaining and the theme of the room was decorated really well! We all had a lot of fun. My only criticism is price per person, but at least little ones are free! 😀

We went to Puzzah as part of our Mothers Day escape room tradition. We have done several escapes rooms before and always had a blast and were challenged by the rooms. Puzzah was a different story. Unknowingly we signed up for a 30min room. First mistake. The room consisted of three fairly easy puzzles that had such poorly laid out directions that we couldnt figure them out even with help. None of the puzzles were really interconnected like a traditional escape rooms and required no clues or piecing together. Lame. As we left we told the guy working that the instructions were not good, and his response was I know. Point of the story, not worth the time or the money! TERRIBLE

We did Specimen, it was just ok. It was more following patterns than locks and puzzles. If it’s your first room it would be pretty fun I guess. If you’ve done even just a few rooms you’ll be disappointed. The pattern following gets really old, not hard just tedious. The buttons/surfaces felt sticky and gross, could use a thorough cleaning. We all walked out wishing we had spent our money elsewhere and not sure if we should try the Denver location after this experience.

Im an avid fan of escape rooms, and have done many in the past. In fact, the Downtown location of Puzzah was my first experience and it was amazing, which is why, with a heavy heart, I have to say that the Broomfield location was just not a good experience for me and my escape room team.I want to start off by giving credit where credit is due; Puzzah clearly puts a lot of effort into the design and craftsmanship of their puzzles, to the point where I think there are very few Denver-area escape room locations that come close to the level of craftsmanship Ive seen in Puzzahs puzzle rooms. We completed Hive Mind, The Curse, and Specimen. The Curse was probably my favorite out of them all, but it was short and we were able to complete it in I believe 22 of the 30 minutes, with most of that time waiting for clues because some things were not explained well.Hive Mind was okay. I think they still have some technical issues to sort out, because there is a puzzle that has you figure out where scout bees are on a map, but the room progressed into a different sequence before we could enter all of the codes, and we ended up having time to spare after we finished despite being unable to enter the codes, meaning we were effectively robbed of our time even after solving the clues.Specimen, however, was awful, and we considered leaving at almost every stage of the room. The first problem we encountered is that Specimen consists of two rooms, ostensibly so that they can have people start the room every 30 minutes, but the issue is you can hear everything going on in the other room! You can hear every clue and almost all of the discussion from the group in the other room. That soured the experience from the start.Additionally, the puzzles were obtuse for seemingly no reason. The food closet puzzle was good and we had some fun with that, but the button puzzle in the center of the room was bad for two reasons. First and foremost, one button required significantly more force to activate than the others, so when it was part of the puzzle solution, we had to try several times to get the button to register. The second reason is repetition. You are doing practically the same thing with the same buttons for almost 20 minutes, and its just not engaging. One puzzle had you watch a pattern on the buttons and enter the next sequence, but it always started with only one step of the sequence, forcing you to guess until you had watched enough sequences to actually see a pattern. The second room of Specimen was better, but really, only in comparison to the first room. The fuel puzzle was good and fun but then the rest of the room relies on this orb structure they called the helm and boy, was that an exercise in frustration. Yeah, it looked nice and was well made, but we found out the hard way that interacting with the exact same object over and over again just because the game tells you to is simply not engaging.I would say Puzzah is great for first-timers and families with children, but with some escape room experience under my belt, I just did not find that the experiences were compelling or engaging enough to enjoy, especially coupled with some extremely frustrating repetition.

It was fun, but if you have a group of more than 4, youre kind of on top of each other. We had a group of 6 and did a spaceship theme. It was okay and kind of fun, but overpriced for what it was in my opinion- hence the 3 star rating.
