My first impression of Sew Much More Fabrics is that of its cheerful , spacious and well organized. There are many great fabric lines to choose from and there is a large selection of tools and patterns. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. There is a really nice classroom with individual sewing tables. I have enjoyed several classes there. Long arm services are available and on Tuesdays its possible to book an appointment to have your sewing machine serviced. If you are looking for a Quilt Retreat inquire about Camp Sew N Sew. Sew Much More Fabrics is a fun place to shop, take class and get to know.

Be glad theres one place in the worldWhere everybody knows your nameAnd theyre always glad you cameYou want to go where people knowPeople are all the sameYou want to go where everybody knows your nameThat’s one of the verses in “Cheers” theme song and it truly is how the staff at Sew Much More Fabrics make me and so many others feel. Block of the month this year was a skill builder for sure, lots of 1 1/2” pieces. Debbie was so encouraging about me being able to do it. The shop even had extra fabric available at no extra charge for the occasional “oops” when cutting. I appreciate the camaraderie of Wednesday open sew. Such a great space for us to sew, laugh and support each other in our love of quilting. Thank you Debbie and Gene for providing a friendly, supportive and positive quilt shop.

Fantastic quilt shop! Great fabric selection, good lighting, friendly helpful staff. I appreciate the terrific customer service and atmosphere at this wonderful shop. The owners, Debbie and Gene, are onsite and readily available to meet their customers needs. Owning a small business is a lot of work but Debbie and Gene consider it a privilege to serve their customers, you can see and hear the dedication in their actions and words. Check out this fabulous shop! You won’t be disappointed!

I will never set foot in the shop again. The owner cannot be trusted! She has people that long arm quilt that she recommends for customers to use. However she complains about the quality of work of those quilters that the patterns are too big and not what the customers wanted, or other quality issues. She said she would not trust any of her quilts with them. So don’t trust your quilts with this shop if the owner doesn’t.

This store has a really great selection. On our most recent visit the prices were higher than I remember them being in previous visits. We may not return because of the prices. But they had some beautiful fabrics we havent seen anywhere else. 😒

Beginners beware! Started great, had a good conversation with the owner about making my quilt.I asked them to make me a quilt out of the pieced together top that my grandmother made. I had batting and backing which they (Gene and Debbie) told me wouldnt work and was not good enough. I let them talk me into using their more expensive supplies. That was mistake #1. After all our talking and explaining to them Id like them to make the quilt, I was quoted $207.00 dollars. I didnt think that was too bad for making the whole quilt. Mistake #2 was not absolutely clarifying what I would receive. I thought it was clear from the conversation we were having. I was never told it would not be a finished product, I have the receipt with writing that proves it. Then a couple weeks after dropping off the supplies, I went to pick it up and it was not finished. I was shocked and dismayed that I had paid that much and would still be forced to finish it or pay even more $ to have someone else do it. BTW, due to sickness I am physically unable to perform the work myself (the whole reason for going to that place), plus I have never done my own quilt before and was not about to try my first one on the top that had this much sentimental value to me. The trim around the edge still had to be cut to size and the binding sewn around the edges. I would have never agreed to pay that much money for something that was not finished. They were argumentative and did not make any effort to smooth things over. To top it off, they called me a liar. Great customer service! /sarc... Safe to say this place wont have any more business from me or any of my friends.

Nice folks, beautiful store, lots of inspiration on the walls for quilts I now want to make. While the store still has some empty shelves, theres a good selection of fabrics and an excellent selection of notions. It was a little hard to find. Its next to cox cash sales, west side of Aspen, just north of 91st street.
