I have spent my morning dealing with Wallace Kia in Bristol. My back up camera is not working. Well apparently its magically working and they wouldnt let me show the technician my video and the man Steve Dingus(the service manager) got smart with me told me he was the manager and there was no one else I could talk to and called me a liar in front of everyone. Do not go here for any work or service. I have never been so embarrassed and worthless in my entire life.I also have a video of what my car was doing and I dont mind to share it with anyone that actually might care.

I’m a big person a reviews. Before I go make a big purchase somewhere I always like to do my research and make sure it’s the best place for me to go. So some could understand my confusion and when I never got a email or call back from Kia. This has happened over a period of a few months, and I have to say I’m not pleased with this experience at all.

Brought my Kia to them for a check engine light and ESC light. Made me sit for an hour before pulling into garage even though I had an appointment. After being checked in waited 4 hrs while everyone went on lunch break. The mechanic then said my issue was a fuel pump. Charged me 150 for diagnostic. Then wanted 875 for a fuel pump change. Told them I refused to pay that. Went to local mechanic he charged me less than half that to replace fuel pump. Then turns out that wasnt even what was wrong. After looking at diagnostic report from wallace kia of bristol It was a crankshaft sensor that was clearly stated on the diagnostic paper. How the mechanic thought it was a fuel pump is beyond me. About all theyre good for is an oil change at double the price of any other reputable mechanic, and wrongly diagnosing the issues with your vehicle. I will never be back.

Regarding their used vehicles, they have no clue about what they are selling to you, and will sell you a piece of junk. So make sure you test drive it and have a hard look at what you buy.

We buy a car approximately every 5-8 years. We took a gamble with Wallace last June and I can promise you, you’ll regret it. We will never buy another vehicle from them. We were pushed around, lied to, and then belittled when the vehicle that was only 1 year old, broke down after 2 days of driving it. Terrible TERRIBLE experience!

Salesman guy named Tony sold me a Sportage and the tire sensor light was on it from the get go. Promised to take care of it. Tech checked it and said it was good. Two days later, light came back on. Called and had to drive back over to bristol from johnson city for the tech to put air in and say it was ok again. Three weeks later, the driver side back door handle comes off. Took two weeks to get fixed plus tire light was back on. Told them something was wrong with tire or valve stem. Again, the tech said my tires were fine, it was the weather. After as many times as i complained and asked for something to be done, they put me off just long enough to hit the warranty 60,000 miles and i was no longer their problem anymore. Best they could do was offer me a discounted tire. Wasnt the tire, it was the valve stem that was cross threaded on. Thanks, but you wont be my dealership anymore.

DAVE WAS THE BEST! After being told no for several years David still went out of his way to help me no matter the costs. He did everything he could with no judgement at helping me finally get into the car I want. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone looking for a new car!
