Called AAA out my house to charge a battery in my car but my Fan wouldn’t turn off and told me maybe that fan was draining because your battery’s fine so I brought in to Midas Bailey used their top of the line equipment and informed me the battery was no good after the AAA guy told me my battery was I’m glad I had them check called AAA back so they can replace my battery they Guys at Midas really know their stuff Bailey is like a young Mr.Miyagi if you have a issue with your car bring it there they’ll take care of you

I had these guys do some exhaust work to my Audi. The prices were reasonable, the guys were personable and great to talk to. All of them were friendly and helpful, and i appreciated them taking care of the car and keeping it clean- im a clean freak. Really good dudes over there!!

The manager Jason Gaudet was so professional, accomadating and awesome to deal with! I left a message and he called me right back, got me an appointment to come right in. Once here he explained in detail what needed to be done and gave me an estimate. I had never been to a Midas but I will definitely come back because of Jason! I went in for an simple oil service and they checked out the whole vehicle for me no charge. They even brought me out to show me what was going on with my car specifically my brakes and how low they were .. they recommended replacing my brakes all around and gave me a great price .. now I feel safer driving my family around . They were on time and even gave me a ride home so I could wait till the work was done . The Store manager Figgs was amazing . I didnt have much money but he helped me finance the work with no credit check. I get 3 months no interest and no credit check. I couldnt be happier with the level of service i received.

Great guys there , Figs and Leo were very helpful.. it was late night past closing and they were doing there thing closing the place up. I just needed air and they DIDNT turn me away like the other places. They opened a bay up for me and filled my tires up .. Ill definitely be back for my next service.

Popped my tire hitting a pothole and came straight to Midas on Farmington Ave Bristol. The manager, J Figgs, was able to help me right away. Recommended the best tire for my car and listened to what I was looking for as far as performance. He was able to work on my car right away! A few days later I noticed one tire had a slow leak so I came back in and J was able to quickly identify the problem...I had some additional damage from the pot hole and needed the valve on my rim replaced which he didn’t have in stock but sent a guy out immediately to pick one up elsewhere and replaced it that day and it was covered under my warranty! Amazing service, friendly staff, will definitely take my car here again for services in the future!!!

Worst experience ever, its sad places like this are allowed to be in business! We brought our car here for a check engine light. We were told it was a bad solenoid and we could either replace the transmission with a high mileage used transmission, or replace the valve body with a brand new OEM part with a warranty. We decided on the new valve body and the car was ready the next day..... or so I thought! We paid $3100 for the repair, we barely got off the lot, the check engine light came back on and it began shifting horribly. I brought the car back and 3 days later they still hadnt brought the car back in to fix. We were later told by the district manager it was the transmission all along and the valve body they installed wouldnt have fixed it. It would cost another $2000 for the repair. After going back and forth for a few days with the district manager (Tyler), he just stopped returning my calls. The shop even picked up and hung up on me! We were forced to take the car back, and when I went to pick it up it now had a dead battery and the carpets were destroyed from them wiping their grease & oil covered shoes on them.

Those guys are great, life savers .. i went by there on Saturday and they were jammin. Maxed out with cars and everyone looked busy. When i walked in i was worried i wouldnt be helped .. i was across the street cleaning my car and my battery died, so the carwash owner recommended i walk over to Midas because he said they were great and man was he right . I walked in and spoke to Fig the manager there and told him whats up, with out hesitation he went into the shop , grabbed a jump box and walked with me across the street to help me start my truck . When we got it running he offered so free advice , no sales pitch and when I asked him what I owe him he said nothing man just pay it forward . Ive worked for the town for almost 30 years and that level of generosity , to just drop what youre doing and help someone and ask nothing in return is rare . I will definitely be back and those guys have earned all my future business .

Brought my Hyundai in for an alternator and an oil change. I was charged $10 for shop fees. I was told that was for shop rags. The oil change, my car takes 3.5 qts of oil but was charged for 5 qts. I was told thats the oil change package. Ok, wheres the other 1.5 qts of oil i was charged for? The alternator, I was charged $499.99 for the alternator. When i questioned this i was told oh we only use high quality parts and we offer a warranty . I was not told that the parts that were to be used would be so expensive. I own a car worth no more then $2000, i want economical parts, not top quality. I talked to the manager about these things and was given nothing but double talk. I called the corporate customer service number and was told thats an independently owned franchise. So in other words your out of luck. Never again

Excellent service and work. I drove in with lights blinking and chaos. Manager even picked me up during the the snow storm. Trustworthy for all you single ladies like me who dont want to be taken advantage of.

I brought my truck in to the Bristol CT Midas for a oil change and tire patch. I was told that the work would take about 45 minutes which I was completely okay with waiting for.However 3 hours and 30 minutes later I was still waiting on the work to be done. I was waiting for the vehicle in the waiting room the entire duration.Workers were seen sitting at back tables in the shop on their phones instead of working on the vehicle. No attempt was made to right the long delay. Two other people in the waiting room were waiting for longer than 3 hours as well. They did not even have essential tools and supplies to balance a tire.

Asked for oil change did it same same quick easy cheers

I went in to see how much it would be to get a my exhaust system from the catalytic converter back (as I had just gotten a new one) on my PT cruiser and they wanted to replace the whole exhaust system front to back and charge over 1000 for it. They also didn’t wear masks at the front desk.

Specifically informed the manager to please torque the wheels & he blatantly disregarded it & just used an impact wrench only. Very tough to find efficient mechanics its all about high volume & if something happens down the line youll have a hard time of proving they didnt do it correctly

Jason and Anthony were both extremely helpful when I brought in my Nissan Xterra to have the exhaust worked on. They kept the cost within my budget and were both fantastic and helpful. They were both very knowledgeable and kept us posted the whole time. I would highly recommend this location. A +++ service!

Came in for an oil change today and was greeted by Anthony. He was very friendly, informative and professional. He had me in and out in no time and thoroughly explained every recommendation to me. Jason and Carlos are excellent. Very personable, professional, and knowledgeable. Can always count on a job well done and done right. A lot of mechanics are not that great. These guys know what they are doing. Been going to them for years. Always treat my kids and me with respect. Would highly recommend them to everyone.

By far best shop I’ve been to, will always go here to get any work needed done! All the staff is very knowledgeable and do great quality work. The store manager Anthony is very friendly and helpful always makes sure the work gets done right and on time! Would highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for work to get done on their vehicles!

Everything was great! Got a flat and was back up and running in an hour!!

I have brought my car here on several occasions and each time, I had to bring it back to get things done right. I brought it in for a new CV Joint and they instead replaced my brand new rear hub assembly. When I found out that my CV Joint could go and potentially kill untold numbers of people on the highway if it were to fail, I took the car off the road. I replaced the rack on the front only to get down the road and find out it was leaking like a sieve. When I brought it back one of the mechanics told me not to have a hissy fit after spending close to $1,400.00 on it. They were not only dishonest but, highly unprofessional too. When I looked at my bill and discovered the mistake they made, I left a message on their answering machine and they never called me back.

Good service, very helpful with the price. They were quick. Took care of my brakes. Ill be back!

Went in to have my ac serviced and was out about an hour to an hour and a half later. And it was relatively inexpensive compared to other shops in the area.

I needed a muffler, at this location the quote was $850. I stopped at another Midas store, and for the same work I was quoted at $660.

They let you see everything you need done. I work on my car so it was great to know what i can do and what i can have them do. They welded my broken exaust for 80 bucks
