I recently had the privilege of dealing with Roman in the Brighton store on a low mileage Yellow 04 Mustang. At no time had I felt pressured during the deal. Roman was very helpful when needed and honest when he wasnt sure about something. I find that as a stand up characteristic in a salesman. He let me take the time I needed to go over the car with a fine tooth comb so that I knew what I was getting. I used to work at a dealership and I know the sales tactics used. These guys are shady I bought a $27000 truck within three months had to put $8000 into maintenance. Everything they sell is from auction they do no maintenance. They will try and offer you a maintenance package for $3000 but all work has to be done in their shop. They tried to charge me $200 for an air filter. Once I complained they dropped it down to a $100 which is still overpriced for an air filter and it still did not resolve my problem. I will never buy anything from this dealership again I would advise anyone considering one of their vehicles to have it checked out by a mechanic they trust

Bought a jeep from them in 2019. 3 days later after taking it off the lot the check engine light came on. We replaced the thermostat and sensor and the check engine light stayed on. Paid the jeep off. Got the title it was branded for not actual miles when the paperwork said actual miles. Hoping that it was a fluke. We just traded that jeep in and got another from them. Last night the spare tire fell off the mount and the rear passenger seat belt is ripped and doesnt work. Today the jeep wont start cause it says hot oil. Yall I have put 40 miles on this jeep since MondayDont waste your time or money

Took a little time to get out with our new car but Greg was fair to us. Called and told them I had a few credit issues and a Car that had just been totaled that I had a 25k loan on it that will not be played off as insurance has not looked at car yet.Had been turned down from a few car lots already or had car sales people trying to put my family in a sedan when we have 4 kids. But when I told Greg I needed a SUV with 3 row sitting with 1500 down, he said he would make it happen and he did very happy with our car and buying experience so go in and talk with Greg.

Bought a truck on Thursday. Was supposed to be delivered. It wasn’t. Got it on a Monday with the tail lights smashed and numerous other problems. Been hung up on when tried to call them back. Promised they would fix other issues with the truck. (Radio, tail lights, back up cam, front dif.). Brought it to their “shop” had it for 3 days saying nothing they can do. Now they do not respond and try to forget about it. The truck had under 60,000 miles. Also the truck wasn’t even clean. Looked like they wiped it down with Amor all and called it good. Their office is no better. Fought tooth and nail trying to wire them money. Wouldn’t recommend them to my worst enemy.

Lost my knife in one of the trucks I was looking at. Called them to look for it, They said they would call me back and never did. Not honest people. Dont have any thing to do with then, SORRY ITS THE WAY IT IS.

I went to the lot just looking at what they had to offer. I ended seeing a truck that caught my eye and talked with Roman. I had a tricky situation with a prior loan but Roman was able to work it out fast and professionally. There was no pressure from the beginning and it remained that way until the end. I ended up buying the truck at a great price and Im very pleased with the atmosphere and professional standard at which they operate. Great customer service and communication. The truck my husband and I were looking at was getting work done at the shop. My experience was just wonderful! I checked out a Dodge Ram 1500 online and made sure that I did my research then checked out the truck in person. Since it was an older truck, I wanted my mechanic to check it out too on a lift. The staff here at Berkenkotter were accommodating and friendly having no problem with my request. Bought the truck after I had it checked out and it didn’t pass emissions. Once again, the staff completely took care of getting it through emissions (which is CO law). Truck is happy, I am happy and now my horse will be happy since he gets to travel off property. Thank you Greg and Daniel for working out the issues!

I was looking for a good Toy Hauler and found it here (9+ hours away from home!!). I originally dealt with Geno and he put me in touch with the owner - Dan. Dan took time out of his schedule to face time the camper for me (and work on financing solutions that would work for us). He climbed on the roof, started the generator etc... He wanted to make sure that it was something I wanted before having me make the trip to buy it. Upon arriving at the dealership, I was met by BJ and Eddie. Both great guys with awesome senses of humor. They helped me put together the new equalizer hitch, walked me through the unit and quickly got the paperwork done for me. Upon getting home - I realized that there was an issue with the floor, near the ramp door. I immediately got in touch with Dan and BJ and was assured that they would help get things sorted out. Being 9+ hours away from their store (and repair guy) created a little stress but I believe that we have come up with a solution that will satisfy both parties. More to come but I am certainly hopeful that this will be another glaring review for Dan and his crew. Montana needs a dealership of this nature!

I called to confirm you had a vehicle, when arrived it was at other store when I made sure he knew what vehicle and what store I was going to. Then was told he would have it back in town next day since you the owner had it. In fact I came back the next day, and it was not available. This was the 3rd vehicle I will try to buy from you. Does that give you guidance enough to understand what my issue was and why I gave 1 star?

...drove all the way over to look at a truck only to find the whole drivers seat was torn up and the passenger side rear view mirror was broken and never replaced. There was also a big puddle of oil under the truck. Strangely none of the offered photos seemed to show those things. We asked them to give us an idea of what our trade was worth, they looked at it and said they would call us back with a rough guess. That never happened either..

My son in law purchased a pick up from them last spring and had it 30 days ( if that) and it had a blown engine. They were kind enough to tow it to their mechanic and bring it back but it needed a new engine , about $8000 and they only offered to throw in a paltry $1000. How cheap and disgusting. Will never give them a recommendation. I had better expectations from a long standing business. Shame on them

I’ve had the worst experience with berkenkotter Brighton. I was lied to by multiple salesmen. After I waited for two weeks they sold a car from underneath me. Worst part is I’ve been doing business with these guys for 12 years. Loyalty is not some they know up there.

Good people but lemon cars me and my buddy bought cars there and both of them have some major issues. I ended up with his car and found out it has a gas leak and some wiring issues and mine just does not want to run right. Will not buy from them again.

This place is 100% unprofessional. These guys convinced me to drive 4 hours to look at this truck that was everything they said it wasnt. They didnt fix anything they said they would and frankly the steering on the vehicle was UNSAFE. There salesmanship is absolutely horrible. It seems like they take auction vehicles clean the inside and sell them for the top price bluebook value. Their cars seam nice online. A lot of hidden damages are covered up on the online photos. All vehicles seamed to have super high mileage and are clearly fresh from the auction.

Daniel and the rest of the team were professional. I did not feel hassled or overwhelmed. If it wasn’t for the amount of time waiting for the lender to get back to us, the transaction would have been even quicker. Daniel was informative and patient. Worst dealership Ive ever dealt with!!! Sold the vehicles I was told I was approved for. I had to call every day and would never get a response if at all . Was told the vehicle was being transferred from one dealership to the other and I would have my vehicle today. NOTHING!!!

Bought a Chevy suburban a year and half ago after a week was making a weird sound on the rear axle they said they repaired it a month later it came back with the engine making a weird sound they said I didn’t buy extra warranty so now I have a over priced paper weight that has a thrown rod and axle that makes nasty sounds and owe over 10 grand on it stay clear of this place the vehicles are in horrible shape regardless how they look. In response to the owner no it’s been a paper weight one months after buying it and y’all gave me a bunch of excuses read the review before responding you idiot

We talked back and forth with Daniel regarding a truck we were interested in. We told Daniel we would come today to look at the truck. We drove 2.5 hours to purchase the truck and when we arrived we found out an employee had the truck off the lot and was currently in Fort Morgan. They said we could drive up to loveland to get the truck and then drive it back to the dealer in Brighton as our test drive.Very disappointed they didnt bother to make sure the truck was available when they new we were coming to look at it.

If I could leave a negative review I would. We called about a truck to see if it was still available they said it was so we paid a sitter to go purchase this truck. Drove an hour and a half to go get it. Got there and was told that they had sold it 8 hours ago but while youre here we have a lot of other trucks. No! Thats just shoddy business!! If you didnt have the truck you should have just said so. Sad...clearly they dont have morals at this dealership.

They didnt try to push me into something that didnt fit but when i made my final choice the finance and paperwork process quick and headache free.

Sold me a lemon. 08 Audi, Pretty much forced me into getting a warranty stating it covers everything except a turbo after having the car a couple of months problems associated with the previous owner were happening to me dealership said their not responsible and the cause of all these mechanical issues I was having was because I had bad maintenance knowledge. They manipulate you into thinking their warranty covers it all and when something goes out they put the blame on you. Dont conduct business with these thieves

Terrible! terrible! Customer service! Bought one vehicle from them without a problem but as soon as I got it home it broke down and had more issues than I can count. After paying as much as possible off I tried to go back and trade it in but I was dodged constantly by Greg. He kept telling me he sent out my finance app out but never did then kept selling the vehicles out from underneath me after I’d pay to get them checked out by my mechanic (happened 2 times) never called back or responded to my emails. If you’re in the market for a diesel truck or anything else I’d dodge this place like it’s herpes. They lie and cheat to sell vehicles. Colorado Law prohibits dealership sales of any vehicle un able to pass emissions thus making it the dealerships responsibility to get that vehicle up to code and berkenkotter will sell you a straight piped junk vehicle and make you pay for the servicing to get emissions tested in order to get your vehicle plated. If I could give this place ZERO stars I would.
