Smith Farm is one of Brentwoods genuine gems. Top notch produce with gobs of special varieties, including many heirlooms; youll be hard-pressed to find any better produce in the area. Your store-bought candidates are air and cardboard compared to Smiths. Seriously, learn what a real tomato tastes like! Youll blow your mind ;)

This place is awesome! We went in the fall at the start of harvest season.I mean it’s geared for kids for the most part. That’s lots of animals, a fun kids area with games, live music and stands with little trinkets for sale, a concession stand, a corn dog stand, and of course path through the corn field into the huge pumpkin patch. Lots of other little attractions too. $12 per person to get in, and you get to pick a pumpkin on the way out.We have 2 kids that had a blast and would stay there all day if they could. I think we are probably gonna go again before the end of the autumn season.

Pretty good farm stand but we actually went today for a U-Pick based on another website that listed this farm as currently open. Theyre not open for picking, but their stand does have a lot of varieties of tomatoes, peppers, plums and peaches. They have some other vegetables like zucchini and eggplants and other fruits like melons.

Ive gotta say it was a real TO-DO. From farm fresh ornamentals and holiday decor to Ye Ole Farm details, a petting zoo and more. Youre delighted with a family friendly experience thats you know... alright. Yeah its alright. Not bad.For $11 entrance fee you get a ticket which allows you access to all activities or exhibits and a pumpkin of your choice from the pumpkin patch.Pack a lunch and enjoy yourselves under the trees and in the shade at a picnic table or grab a bite from the rotation of food truck vendors that frequent the lot.But check the weather first as we went on the hottest day of a heatwave in the middle of the day. The earliest it opens is the best time to go and Im not sure what time they close but right before sunset would also be a great time to go.Make sure you take your allergy medication for the hay fever sufferers in your party as the pollen, dust and general allergens are both afoot and aplenty

It was nice to sit and listen to the live music. The port a potties were bad. Would have been nice to have a drinking fountain. Food selection was pretty limited. Online advertised pumpkin ice cream but there wasnt any. The farmers market was OK. Highlight was picking our own pumpkins. Considering the relatively inexpensive entrance fee of $11 per adult 4 starts seems fitting.

Smith Family farms is the best place to go and visit. We take our kindergartners there every year for a field trip. The children love visiting the farm! They enjoy the animals, barn show and riding the wagon out to the field to pick out a special pumpkin. They also like going through the corn maze and eating at the shaded picnic tables. There are lots of wonderful places to take photos. I personally like to visit the fruit and vegetable stand. It has a great selection of produce. I really enjoy their selection of heirloom tomatoes. Go visit the Smith Family farm! You will enjoy the day at the farm or getting fresh produce from the stand.

Went the last weekend before Halloween, so it was CROWDED! They probably shouldve limited the amount of people at a time for COVID though, wasnt much social distancing with the exhibits. They did revamp alot since the last time weve been there. Lots of cute places for pictures! The trail to the pumpkin patch was cool. I know they had to take away the tractor ride to the pumpkin patch for obvious reasons. So hopefully that comes back in the future. Would be nice to have more food, maybe food trucks, or local bakeries for apple pies 😄

The produce market is very overpriced, they have literally fixed price on most of the tomatoes and pomegranates ($2.75 a pound, ridiculous). Assuming they dont have to take their produce (and many items they just resell) to the real farmers market and people drive to them, the pricing is weird and hard to explain why its so expensive...

Went here mostly because we want to shop local. HOLY CROW were the trees stupid expensive!!! They’re nice, but so not worth it. Oh and for the price, they should help tie the tree down (I’m sure it might be a liability issue in their minds but ...). People keep saying how nice they are.... no nicer than anywhere else. I’ll check them out again in the spring but as far as Christmas trees - nope. Buyer beware!!!!

Boy is this place worth the visit. We did a HowAboutWe deal and got first-class treatment. There are large orchids to browse filled with delicious, off-the-tree tastes... incredibly juicy. The garden stand in the front has a variety of fresh veggies and fruits and reasonable prices. But some of my favorite parts of this journey were the personal tours of the berries and tomatoes (mmm... some of the best around) picking areas but my most favorite was making an herbal bouquet. The staff and owners are super nice. They do events here on occasion. Its a huge property and definitely a nice excuse to get out of the city.Theres even a farm with a wide selection of chickens, donkeys, peacocks, bunnies and more.If you like to pick your own delicious fruit, this is the place for you. My only regret is that produce doesnt last a long time, so we had to limit what to bring home.Go! Enjoy! Even outside of Halloween. We went in early July, early afternoon on a Sunday. It was hot (about 100F) but it was fairly empty too. Just bring a big hat, sunblock, bug spray, and definitely water.Be okay with port-a-potties, too.
