We had been plowing through online websites for months. I walked in and found the outdoor lamp style i was looking for in minutes. The return policy is just as good as the online companies, but I dont need to repackage and contact Amazon or UPS.for pickup.I will not be returning the lamp.

I would tend to agree with some aspects of the previous reviewers. We had a less than desirable experience initially with questionable customer service. However, after returning to the store to exchange the wrong lightbulbs, we were taken care of by the manager Cayla. She was very professional and addressed each of our concerns and made everything right. We will more than likely be returning for a replacement fan in the near future. In the end, we were satisfied with the overall experience and would recommend this store.

While visiting this Lamps Plus in Brea, we were greeted and assisted by employee Jennifer. Our visit and purchase turned into a wonderful experience due to Jennifer’s knowledge. Jennifer was kind and very patient. We were able to make our purchase and only wish all shopping experiences could be like this.

When our lamp broke, I really wanted to shop in person, not online. I was very impressed by Lamps Plus selection, the way the lamps were sort of organized by style and color, and especially the space my sales person, Rachel, gave me to look before offering to help me. She was so helpful in finding out what was in stock--mine werent--and ordering them to be shipped free of charge. To our surprise, the 3 lamps came the next day, and we love them.

Lamps Plus has a good selection of lamps but this location tends to have poor customer service. You always have to hunt somebody down to get help. None of their help ever recognizes you or asks if you need help.

We place an order for a chandelier after Thanksgiving and they told us it will come and deliver to our house on Dec 5th or Dec 7. After 2 week I followed up the order and they told me that I will call them back after 2 days if I did not get update on the status of my order. I called them back after 5 days instead of two days and they told me that my order got push to end of January or early February. The one I’m upset no one from the store update me on the status of my order, my contractor is waiting I rescheduled two times already. My concern if there is in changes on my order at least they update their customer. I can’t wait for next year and end up canceling my order.

Started off good...the sales lady was nice. Then I found a fan that she told me they would have to order for me. No problem, completely understand. When she discovered they dont stock that fan the conversation went from pleasant to very curt and downright dismissive. Thanks Jennifer, at least I know i wont go back there now.

This was the second time in a couple of weeks that I came to the store. The first time was on a weekend, and it was busy, so I tolerated not being approached for help. Today I was in the store for about 20 minutes, no other customers , and still nevergreeted or asked if I needed help. Very disappointed.

Went here to see a ceiling fan that we saw online. Unfortunately it was not on display. No problem, there were plenty of fans to see. The help we received at this store was incredible. Very Nordstrom like. All the associates were helpful and made our decisions easy. I also want to say the installers they use are excellent and extremely professional. I subtracted one star since we were sold a bulb for another lamp we purchased which already came with one. Again, no big deal but the bulb did cost us a few extra bucks.

Bought a semiflush lamp online with 4 bulbs. The lamp arrived in 4 days, but only with 2 bulbs. When I went to the store in Brea and tried to buy the missing bulbs they told me that they did not have them in the store and that they did not know if they were available online. They didnt even try to help me get them. Very bad experience in the store.

Exceeded my expectations! They have a very generous return policy and the store manager, Justin, is well versed on how to “properly” treat a customer. I will definitely shop here again.

I absolutely love Lamps plus! When I walked in I was a little overwhelmed with the selection they had. They have a lamp to fit every persons style and decor. The staff is very helpful. Claudia was very knowledgeable and friendly. The installation crew was timely, efficient and professional. A few days after install a balancing weight came off my fan causing a pretty wild wobble. Scheduling a no charge service was easy and quick. Definitely check them out!

Bad experience all together. We ordered flush mount lights for bedrooms and were told they would be in by one week at the most. After a week and no call we repeatedly called and left messages with the salesperson Claudia. When we finally got her on the phone she told us that the fixtures that we ordered were on backorder and would take 6 weeks.Im guessing that she knew these items were on backorder when she placed the order but told us one week to get the sale. Maybe not so we give the benefit of the doubt.6 weeks was too long for us to wait as the house was to go for sale within a couple of weeks.We cancelled the order and were assured that we would receive a refund within 3 business days. After a week and no refund we had to keep calling to ask about the refund and were always told the refund was coming. This went on for weeks. After a month and a half we had to finally call the bank and dispute the charge.Very frustrating and a waste of time and energy. No apology from salesperson Claudia.

Nice selection of lights and other home furniture. Dont be afraid to haggle on big ticket items. I managed to save a lil bit on an expensive chandelier that was cheaper online since it was tax free. They reduce the price to beat the savings I would have gotten online. That was pretty cool.

Im shocked at the 2 poor reviews on here - I just purchased a chandelier (one I found for a lot more at another store) and had Lamps Plus install. First, the store experience: Robert is I believe the manager at this store and he went out of his way to help me - took his time, asked questions, etc. He really helped me make sure I was getting what I wanted / needed. I will go to this store first before I try anywhere else for my lighting needs.And thats what I did this week - just bought track lighting for the home office. Again, he took his time, explained the different bulbs, the flood range, etc.Now for the install: I was nervous about using Lamps Plus, but the tech, Armen, showed up on time, very professional, great attitude, super nice! He installed it just how I wanted it, asking me if I liked this or that every step of the way. Then they cleaned up everything - no spot of dust left! AND having Lamps Plus install gave me 2 yrs warranty on the chandelier instead of just one!So Im gearing up to replace the dinning room chandelier next and Im definitely headed back to Robert at Brea LP again!

Dont like lamps plus, these people charge to much for lights, and wont give you an electricians number (contact info) unless you buy from them! Ridiculous!
