Found everything I needed.The aisles were very clean and tidy. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Got a special kick out of seeing Monty cruising around! So cool!

Very nice place. 8 pcs of cooked chicken 850$. The truck stop, 4 pcs for 12$. Forgot the decimal point for the Pennys sorry it wasnt 850 dollars. 8.50. first time time seeing a robot in the isle, that was neat. Very clean and friendly.

The location of this Stop & Shop couldnt be better. Its literally right off the highway, easy on and off. Secondly, the self checkout always runs smoothly, if not there is always someone there to assist. Third, they have an entire healthful section.

We like to use the mobile checkout scanner as we select items throughout the store. Check out is very fast then.

Prices too high for my budget, but sometimes their sales are great.

It seems that the employees need more training as to where items are in the store. I asked 3 different employees where a particular item was and got 3 different answers. Thank goodness the 3rd one knew. 😀

ALL met with the attitude of :::...What Do You Want? !!.. Its a Local Store. Got it ..im not local.. I get it !! But dang !! Really !!Visit 09/15/20 .. Twice 1600 and again, (needed additional items) 2030 . Two separate encounters, two seperate individuals.. yet , same attitude..Thinking you have a training course on how to deal with queries from Non-Identifiable Consumers.. ( ie : local shoppers).Kinda Hoping Tom from around the corner, doesnt send his out if town guests there to pick up a few things !!Cause...well, that attitude may get back to Tom as a Less Than pleasurable encounter.. !!

Stop-n-Shop in Branford, CT, is the most-wonderful-supermarket-in-the-whole-wide-world. Located adjacent to a T/A Express Truck Stop, this business is particularly convenient for long-haul truckers during these trying times. Happy New Year in 2021!!

This is a great Stop & Shop for 5 good reasons. Comparing the Branford Stop & Shop with the Big Y in Guilford...its s no -brainer. 1) Prices are lower.... 2) The selection of meats seems better to me. 3) The fish department is excellent. because it has a faster turn over of seafood items. 4) The rotisserie chickens taste better and 5) The staff is friendly.... Its a pleasure to walk into this Stop & Shop !! A+

I like Stop & Shop stores my favorite is in Hamden Connecticut It use to be a ShopRite person but now Im at Stop & Shop person

All of the prices of the items I purchased were apparently different in the aisles and at the checkout counter. Ended up pay extra $2-5 on each item. I’m not talking about sale items also; these were just regular priced items. Example: Drano was $4.59 in aisle then $8.99 at register.

Management is always friendly and make themselves visible and always willing to help. Unfortunately there are a handful of older cashiers always on the ruder side

Better prices than big y for same items. The only reason 1 star is removed is for the annoying robot that was brought in a few months ago to check for wet floors (supposedly.) Word of caution, dont play chicken with robot, he doesnt back down...

Very disappointed in this location, as stop and shop is always one of my first choices. I was treated very poorly by one of the older female workers that work the night shift! She was so rude I’ve never had customer service like this in my entire life! On the announcement speaker someone was saying “Anyone in the store come to the front if you don’t come by 10pm we won’t be able to cash you out, you can go to the open register or the self checkout” so I was grabbing something from produce, walking towards the front when she started saying “let’s go, it’s time to go!” (Very loud and rude!) I said ok I’m coming, she then tells me “I don’t get paid to work overtime” (It wasn’t even 10pm yet) I walk over to self checkout and she tells me “why wouldn’t you go to the register” well because I don’t have to, the self checkout register is open. I don’t see why it’s any of your concern? I thought I was actually doing the other older woman working the register a favor by not going to her? Then as I’m scanning my items she’s standing right on top of me, the younger male worker also came over & snatched my basket. She Also printed out my receipt after I walked away to check my items? I’ve never heard of that before & im actually disgusted with the service I received tonight! If you don’t like your job you shouldn’t work there.

Very disappointing. They have stopped carrying some items I counted on getting there. Also, the bakery was severely lacking, and a very sad assortment of hannukah items.

The deli was open, 1st time in a while, the meat section was better stocked than a few days ago.

Closest grocery store to my place. I like it more than Big Y and Roberts Food Center. Sometimes they have marked down beef steaks which are really really good!

Many of the people you could tell do not like working there..... after your response its not that I didnt have a good experience it just looked like people were in a bad mood and thats why I got to have almost ½million views on this platform because I say what I see, honestly I gave four stars I had a great experience Im sorry if you took offense, that wasnt my intention

A fine grocery store with a wide variety of fresh meats, poultry and produce. Prices were reasonable, if not down-right inexpensive. This place draws a large crowd, but also contains enough checkout registers to make checking out quick.

Great for groceries, Deli Dept customer service its the Best they have great attitude always happy they have great Deli products at really good prices. I like their suggestive selling and very professional attitude. Will return and recommend to everyone who enjoys good quality cold cuts at the Best prices and with the best customer service staff.

Never a problem at stop&shop

Staff is friendly and helpful and the store is clean and offers a decent selection but its way overpriced especially the produce. The fish market usually has decent fish comparatively speaking but is also way overpriced save for the weekly specials. Just 5 miles away milk is $1 cheaper for the same brand. Explain that.

Better prices than big y. Clean here and the kids working are nice and helpful when compared to other stores in the area. Aisles are large and lit well, store is very clean. Occasionally will have a misprice on my receipt and help desk usually has it sorted out quick.

Store was fairly well stocked considering the current pandemic environment. Some paper products and disinfectants were out of stock, but overall grocery selection and sale price item quantities were more than adequate.

They switched up where to enter and exit again. You can only enter and exit from left side doors now.

Clean store, great butcher. Great prices when you have signed up for thier promotion card. Regular prices otherwise. 3 stars because of the price difference. The discounted prices are clear and in large print. The regular price is small and easily overlooked. I am from out of town and found this rather misleading.Recycling available on premises.

I just spent $100.00 at your store. NO PLASTIC BAG AND NO ONE BAGGING $100.00 of your product. You really do lnot ike or want customers. Why didnt your company fight for yr customers? This is your issue your company has the right to stand up for their customers paying for your existance in the free market. The earth will be way after and your customers can make your store thrive or not. If only your company stood for your customers and said yes to plastic bags it is afree market. Iit is clear I do not have any value to your company.

S&S has come a long way at this location. Lots of prepared foods - hot and cold - many specialty items too.

Next to the truck stop @ exit 56 off I95. Theres also a package & jewelry store in the same plaza. Multiple gas stations on each street corner.

They have a manager there during the day, his name is Rodney. He goes out of his way to help u with everything. Numerous times he could tell I was looking for something and he came to me to help. I didnt have to hunt someone down to ask. You dont get that kind of service many places. Quite honestly he is the only one there that I ever noticed paying that close attention to the customers needs. Great hire stop and shop, dont lose him!

Its so damn expensive at stop & shop plus the fact I have to bag my own groceries is enough to tell me its time to stop shopping here.

I got everything for my Corned Beef and Cabbage dinner on sale! The only draw back was that it took a bit to get through the checkout as there were only 2 registers open for over 12 items.

Good customer service, well stocked shelves. Produce is still a little old. Looks like they are last on the delivery line.

They always have what I need & last time helped me by grabbing fresher produce for me from the back room.

Still many empty spaces on the shelves, but getting better. The staff is always helpful and courteous. Been shopping there since it opened. Prior to that, at S&S at East Main Street where Walgreens is currently located. They may some competition from the new Aldi.

Its good because they open up at 6:00am the price are a little high tho

I gave this store FIVE stars because Amber woks there.Being in a wheelchair it can be challenging to purchase items in a store.Either the items are placed on a shelf too low or too high.Well when Amber is working she finds the time to pick up the items and bring them to the register.I am grateful she works @ Stop&Shop.

Deli counter service was horrible, 30 minutes to take care of 1 number then walks in circles. 5 people plus me in line left without being served.

They have everything that you cant get another grocery stores, and its always clean prices are a little high but Id rather pay good prices for good meats and cold cuts
