One of the best Latin Foods in Brandon I have ever eating, every time I come to La Familia this is a must place to stop for a meal or a Cuban sandwich which are excellent. The service, quality and the staff is great. A must place to visit if you want the best taste and price.

Wow, I’m so disappointed on their dinner selections. I ordered white rice with beans, fried sweet platains and sautéed steak. The beans tasted horrible and were over-cooked, and the fried sweet platains were hard and a dark brown (burnt) color… The flavoring in general wasn’t worth it. I bought several plates for my family and none of us were able to finish our meals. Never again.

I’ve lived here for yrs and this place has been the spot to go get Dominican food. The Tres Golpes is amazing! And the people working there are the nicest people and so sweet the owners! Best place hands down

We are visiting from Massachusetts and visited this store after checking the reviews. We were greeted by a young man who was very helpful. The place is so clean and I’ve been to a few similar places. The food was delicious. There are so many choices for grocery and hot food. This will for sure be a place we visit every time we come back.

Very nice but the Cubans are no good. It was like a grilled cheese there was so much cheese. Mayonnaise was so heavy too. Tried an empanada too but it was so greasy you could see it coming out I couldn’t eat it.

I LOVE this place. Not only is the food fantastic but they have great products and such friendly, thoughtful employees. Maria is my fave!! If she is there, make sure she fixes your plate. She is so sweet, she chopped up the chicharron without being asked and she asked if we wanted juice or any particular pieces. The people at front when we paid were also very friendly. Great experience all the way around. I’ve only been to this place once before, years ago and I completely forgot about it because it’s a little tucked away from the main road. I’m so glad I remembered this place. Definitely coming back to see Maria soon 😊

I ordered catering from la familia for my birthday. I ordered enough for 10 people and yet we still had left overs after 12 people ate. The good was delicious and I highly recommend them to anyone that needs Puerto Rican food catered at their event. They were extremely friendly, helpful, and at a good price.

Went to grab food, never had a bad experience til the guy at the register tried to charge my card 2421.46 for my 20 dollar meal my card went on fraud when I fixed it to pay for my meal I asked why my card was charged for that amount the guy at the registered denied doing so.. scammers. Still ended up paying for my food which I should’ve never paid for.

Wow. A lot of food for the price. 4 of us ate for 40 dollars including drinks. One of us had the rib lunch. 2 of us had the chicken and yellow rice and black beans and 1 had the roast pork with yellow rice and beans. It was all excellent.

Im about as white as it comes so seeing a Latina shop/ menu options I was game. Was immediately greeted by a very nice woman. Food choices were behind a clean display. Food is cooked right behind and you can see how clean everything is. Had lunch with the owner after he offered that I sit with him while we ate. A genuinely nice person food was delicious, great conversation, would highly recommend it.

This is a fantastic place to buy all kind of groceries (Latin ones by preference) but the best thing is the family vibe that you get when you are there. These people are so warm and they are really happy to see you come in and do business with them. This is a family own and operated business so you can talk to the owner at the register while his wife says hello from the meat locker and his son is restocking the fridge!Well done guys, well done!

LA Familia Provided amazing service for a tasting for a wedding. They cater to all types of people and cusine. I was very impressed with there food it tasted amazing. I highly recommend them for future guest to be able to have there services and food at events.

Went in at closing time and the owner still went out of his way to hook it up for us. This is exactly what I was looking for to satisfy my craving for home cooked Latin food.

Is a small Spanish Bodega were you could find everything you need to cook specially Spanish food. They have hot food to take out or eat there. The food is great. Is well located behind Walgreens pharmacy next to a small pizza place.

Im in love with their fried tilapia. I go to LaFamilia Grocery every Friday to get 2 pieces and I get the onions on top. The price per fish fillet is $4.50 which is a little pricey, but the fish is very good. They treat you like family here. :-) I also love their catfish salad! And I also love the steak!
