I see Shelby at this location and I could not be more happy with her services! She is absolutely wonderful each time I get my hair colored, takes her time and does a perfect job. I’m very picky with my hair and it is a perfect match each time! She does an amazing blowout afterwards that just has me feeling absolutely beautiful! If you’re looking for a new cosmetologist I highly recommend seeing her! I have platinum blonde hair which is very difficult to achieve and each time she’s been spot on!

I went into Ulta yesterday (10/19) and was going to pick up my routine face wash. Eric approached me and said that he noticed I had breakouts and large pores. At first, I thought, “ouch! Thanks for pointing out my flaws” LOL until he introduced me to a different cleansing product for acne. After having my daughter, she surely sucked out all of my beauty, resulting in breakouts that I’ve never experienced before. Eric showed me this face wash for $39 that I was hesitant to try because of the price. However, just using it once, my face felt SO clean and fresh. So, thank you Eric!!

Got a haircut from here and they butchered it. I would think for 65 dollars theyd do a decent job but not the case here. Krista needs to go back to fantastic sams.

I was looking for a specific item, a nail dip product, that the app said was available at this location. After searching the nail care area, we asked for assistance to which we were informed by an associate that shed never seen this product. We showed her the information from Ultas app and still was told that we could use the app to find another store that would have it. I found this rude since we clearly showed her that the app said it was in stock at the Brandon location.

Im a guy that doesnt use a ton of cosmetics, but I will always go to Ulta when I need to pick up things for me or my girlfriend. When I went in today looking for my hair product, Nichole stopped what she was doing to find the specific items I was looking for, and when one of them was discontinued, she gave me recommendations on new product that was better than what I was using before. Usually Im not given the time of day in beauty stores, but this was truly exceptional service and Im thankful for it.

Shelby was the best. My first visit and she was welcoming and did great cut along with a color I loved. She also made some suggestions on good beach spots to visit. I will definitely be back.

I like shopping here because it’s clean and organized. I’ve never used their hair services but the products are wonderful here. I like the skin care lines, makeup lines and their Ulta brand products are great as well.

Line was terrible on a Saturday really need all registers open. But the staff on the floor were very attentive but not pushy. Lines can be long but usually they open more registers if it does, when they can.Exchanges or returns have been simple and easy for me, with receipt!Ive even had help tracking down a makeup product they didnt have in the store I was pleasantly surprised when they said to hold on and had checked on online and called another local store to verify the status.They have special events here which is fun and the staff get very enthusiastic about inviting attendees 😊.Ive gone to the hair salon booked online prices are within estimated ranges, hairdressers are nice and good about listening and recommendations.Ive also received facial here which has been my favorite thing so far. Relaxing and good service.

I have been going to the Brandon store for about a year and a half from now. Dawn is the best stylist that I have had in years, I am so thankful for her. Every time I leave I feel wonderful. I would also like to mention Shelby and Charlene. I’ll see when they’re working on their clients and how they make their clients feel the same way that Dawn does me. Did you know there is a full hair salon in the back of Ulta? No kidding. You know what else? The stylists are awesome. I have been going to Ulta for years to the same stylist. She (sadly) is no longer there, but every stylist I have been to has been great. Mandy did finger waves for my 1920s themed dinner and I looked fantastic. Krista and Brittany have done my color with beautiful results. Sharleen is my new full time stylist. She just spent 2 1/2 hours making sure my color and cut came out perfectly, and it did. If youre worried about your hair coming out messed up, it wont. Ulta has experienced stylists who listen to YOU and what YOU want.

Highly disappointed with Ulta. Today I brought my daughter with me and this was her first time. I talked up Ulta so much and she was so excited. We enter and are completely ignored. Those that enter after us were greeted. When shopping no one bothered to help us and at checkout there were several employees standing at the front not one offered to check us out. One women who was at a register was picking her nails ignoring us. Finally I just walked up and placed my items on the counter so she would ring us out. Then come to find out when I get home after giving this employee my membership info she did not input my purchase on my account and did not email me my receipt. After contacting Ulta I was told I must go to the store for them to print out a receipt. Do you really think I want to go back to that location after the way my daughter and I were treated and after they ruined the experience for my daughter. They should focus on trying to save a customer and right their wrongs and just add the damn 54 points.

I have to stay away from Ulta because I could spend hours in the store. Love the variety they have and perks you get

Make-up Heaven :) Can be overwhelming so get some assistance if needed. They have plenty of people there to help. Try to make a list or have some kind of idea of what you are looking for so you are not too overwhelmed. If anything, have fun and try something new!

They have what you need. The name is on point! Facials are done, and facial products sold. The best lasting perfume smells, polish of strong holds. A wide range of other ladies needs. Loving it!

Went to this store in the afternoon and wished I would have waited until a change in staff. I was not greeted when I walked in, staff was clustered in different areas of the store chatting, I was never asked if I needed help, when I checked out the lady didn’t ask if I found everything I needed, no hi, just what’s your phone number. I usually know my way around Ulta, but today I was looking for a product and was having trouble finding. I had to search for an employee and interrupt their conversation to ask where this product was. There were two people in the store and I came in ready to spend money, but after that I got an $8 face cream and left. Customer service people! Doesn’t matter if there is 1 or 30 people in the store it makes a difference!

I am a hair stylist for over 40 years. For the last year and a 1/2 I have been looking for Paul Mitchells super clean Hair spray, Ultra had it!

I brought my daughter in to have her hair and makeup done for homecoming on Saturday. I was told that we were getting a master stylist her name was Samantha. Which is incorrect. She didnt give my daughter the style she asked for at all. She instead gave her the basic beach waves that everyone was getting. I spoke up a few times to remind her that was not what we asked for. She continued on with the wrong one. She put about 20 Bobbie pins and a hair barrette on top of them. Her hair was matted and knotted in the area where she pinned it up. I had to completely redo her hair before the dance. Not happy at all about spending $75 for that experience. Her makeup was beautiful. I fully recommend their makeup services.

You get what you pay for kind of deal. I went in for a balayage and came out the same exact way I went in but with some highlights. The person doing my hair knew I wasnt happy and kept saying “it looks great.... you come back again in a few weeks and we can work on it”. Waste of $110 (thank goodness I had a coupon). Only use the salon if you need a hair cut or a ponytail. The hairstylist asked me what products I used to do my own hair because she could figure why the bleach was not bleaching my hair and she couldn’t get it lighter. They do not heat lamps so the bleach can’t properly process without heat sitting in a cold store. Worst experience. My apt was for 330 and I didn’t leave until 7. When she blew my hair out it was still waved, she used a paddle brush to blow it out. I washed my hair as soon as I got home and plan on going else where to correct my hair.

Cassie is amazing! i work with customers and i always tell my employees give the service you would like to receive, let me just say Cassie exceeded my expectations. She went out of her way and did things in reality, she did not have to do ( search online for a certain lip gloss/check back for discontinued product). She is great at what she does. shes genuine and kind.

I LOVE ulta so much. It is my go to makeup store. There are always sales and their credit card benefits are great. Some of the employees could be a little more approachable but I understand if it’s their first job, they are learning people skills. I will continue to always shop here at this store location and online.

The Beauty Bakery was out of stock and there were only three or four liquid lipstick colors available in the entire collection. As a WOC I’m aware that there are a lot of shades that won’t suit me well and that aren’t marketed towards people with my skin tone. HOWEVER, Beauty Bakery might be the ONLY or ONE of the few brands that Ulta has that are WOC friendly, there is NO reason why it should be out of stock in almost every color and there should be no reason why more isn’t available in the back. Then the staff told me to order it online, I might as well go to Beauty Bakery website directly and order it so they can receive the full sale, Ulta clearly isn’t concerned about making sure their minority population has enough products available 🤷🏾‍♀️

I got my hair done by Dawn and I won’t go to anyone else. She did such an incredible job with coloring and keeping my hair healthy through the entire process. 10/10 for Ulta salon and their staff. Very professional yet such a fun experience. Def go to dawn to get any cut, style or color

Very clean, very friendly and knowledgeable staff, nicest smelling customer restrooms EVER, and a very extensive selection (in terms of whatever my wife seems to need, they always seem to have it in stock).Generally if you call ahead they will hold a product for you. Only once has someone forgotten to do so for us.Driving in the Brandon Mall/Regency Plaza area is maddening, but this store is usually worth the trip in all respects.

Meagan is beyond AMAZING! She is so sweet, kind and is such an asset to Ulta. I’ve shopped at many Ultas and this was one of the best experiences. She made me feel so comfortable shopping. She took the time to tell me about different hair products and how to use them properly. She helped me several times throughout my visit, I didn’t even have to run around and look for help. I left spending over $150 in products that I now know how to use and love! She also introduced me to a hair stylist named Mandy who also took the time to help me regarding specific products. The salon was very accommodating and was able to schedule a same-day appointment for me. Sharleen was my hair stylist and was absolutely amazing. She understood my hair type and was able to make recommendation for a stylish cut. I’m ecstatic with my new look and will only be seeing Sharleen from now on.

I have had a tough time finding a hairdresser since moving to Florida. After some bad cuts and coloring experiences, I found Sharleen at Ulta Salon, Brandon. I will not be looking for another hairdresser and I may just follow her if she ever moves. My hair is so healthy now, the cut is always fabulous, and she has straightened out the color issues. I highly recommmed her!!

Always a great hair cut from Sharleen. This past visit she did partial highlights with a glaze rinse...i love it. She is the professional to visit if you need color or highlights.

I find something that works well on me and doesnt come off easily then go to buy it again even tho it was expensive the 1st time, it was worth it. But now the price has doubled so Ill look for another brand. Not purchasing something that cost as much as my cellphone bill.

I called to inquire about their return policy without a receipt, the lady that answered didn’t seem to know what the policy is. That is after calling a couple of times with no answer. It also seems to be a hit or miss when you ask a floor associate for help; some are very helpful, others don’t want to be bothered. I like the variety and rewards at Ulta but I choose to go to Sephora due to the better customer service.

I adore the Plant City Ulta. The customer service is superior to the other locations. They are friendly, helpful and the stylists in the Salon are the best no matter what level they are. I generally visit the store once every 2 weeks and always find what I need...and a few things I just want! Lol! The only suggestion I have, is that they have more give aways . When I in come in and spend $70 to $150 a pop, I at least think I should receive samples or a miniature lipstick, etc. I know this has a lot to do with what the vendors willing to supply...however I think the Manager should speak with the vendors and express how beneficial it would be for sales of their line to be more generous.

I walked into the store and was not greeted. I went in looking for a specific item, but could not locate it after walking the store for about 10 mins. NOT ONCE was I asked if I needed help. I saw 2 staff at the front when we got there and maybe 3 at the back. I saw 2 on the floor helping others, but once those customers were gone and out the store, they disappeared, so there was plenty of people on staff that could have offered help or at least acknowledged we were even in the store. There was plenty of care for fellow staff as they enjoyed speaking amung themselves instead of having an awareness of in store customers. We didnt even get acknowledged on the way out of the store.

Tried to get someone to help me for over 10 minutes and couldn’t get a single person to help. I eventually just walked out. I will never come back to this ultra again.
