After years of seeing these commercials I finally stopped in....OMG!!! This place is amazing and not only did I gain 5 pounds looking at everything, the food was delicious too! I now have to make up for lost time. Fantastic food, a must stop for sure!

Completely mind blown with this awesome bakery! AH-MAZING pastries, cakes, cookies and food. Staff are friendly and insanely quick as busy as they are. We went for the first time yesterday and literally went back today! Thank God I live an hour away or I’d be here daily!

Had a traditional Cuban sandwich. It was really good. Just make sure to keep your receipt when you go up and get your food.The bakery is awesome. Grabbed pecan pie, sticky buns and a guava turnover. I did not like the sticky bun, that is on me. I am not a huge fan of honey.

I had the egg and cheese breakfast sandwich a few weeks ago and came back for lunch. Everything Ive had here hasnt disappointed me. The huge selection of desserts are amazing.

Love this place. Every time I go in they are busy and always someone is right there asking me if I need help. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I love the super large displace of sweet desserts and yummy treats. Its like going to awesome food heaven!! Carrot cake cupcake, mudslide cupcake, cookies, chocolate pie, and sweet rolls were SOOOO YUMMY!! Last time I was in I tried a meat pie. Never have I had such a wonderful meat pie. Savory filling with a sweet coating on the pastry. My new go to Friday breakfast treat!! Next time I stop in Im going to try something from the area that has hot food selections. Ox tail looks so goods!

Delicious dulche de leche cake. I highly recommed them . I added the candles and the paw patrol edible stickers for the 4y os birthday. Everyone said the cake was awesome! Will buy another one soon!

This was a taste we have been looking for since we moved down to Tampa area. We got several items: the pineapple upside down cake and the carrot cupcake were superb. Great flavor of brown sugar and the cake was so moist. Also got two huge mudslide cupcakes....they are so big you have to share. I am definitely putting this place in my saved locations.

This an excellent establishment. Very busy, but runs very efficiently. This is a local favorite. The quality of the pastries rival any in Europe. The cakes are amazing. I ordered a cannoli cake, and my advise is to call them and make sure they have one on hand for when you stop by. Go in. Get the coffee, better than that overpriced coffee shop, something to nibble on in the car, and take the cake home. Morenos never wonder where to go for coffee or cake!

Moreno Bakery is ridiculous. In such a beautiful way. I kinda want to live here now. One can get a wide array of hot food and amazing sandwiches here too...at a bakery. I had the chicken marsala with yellow rice and fried plantains. All excellent. I intentionally ignored the bakery side until I ate my meal. Some will say, Life is short, eat dessert first, but I showed restraint. When I did go over to begin my dessert selection, I immediately realized the Ridiculousness of the matter. Cupcakes, pies, tarts, turnovers, eclairs, cannoli, rum cake....but the Dolce de Leche Napoleon whispered to me. Take me home and eat me, you know you want to....yes. Yes I do. So I did. Some now, and some for later. Im putting this site on my map for return visits whenever Im back this way. Excellent.Maloy Approved.

They made a super cute smash cake and campfire cupcakes for our baby’s first birthday. It was just what we wanted and actually tasted really good as well. And they’re pricing is really good. The only thing is they spelled his name wrong. No one’s name is Cannor lol. But that’s partly our fault for not noticing it upon pickup. Make sure you pay attention to that, they could’ve easily fixed that for us had we noticed.

I was in Tampa for the weekend and a friend that recommended this place to me and I was thankful she did. What an amazing display of local business power at work. These are the exact places that need our help at this time and not big chain business!!! The customer service was 5 star, as me and my wife were exploring all the goodies for the first time, multiple employees would ask if we had any questions or needed help and it was busy at the time. We got a couple of pastries and the egg and sausage breakfast sandwich. The sandwich was the exact thing your lips and stomach want and not your waist line! Fresh pressed bread (Cuban style) and egg and cheese...it was amazing!! We also got some cup cakes and butter cake. The quality and freshness were off the charts!! I would recommend this place to anyone and is definitely a must try!!!

Im from Minnesota. First time here. Bakeries are a dying breed where Im from😭😭SOOOO...Take the time to go here. The bakery is excellent and selection of food is awesome! Homemade bakery and food ❤❤❤ I shouldve taken pictures of everything we got, but everybody dug in soooo quickly! Also, the employees were super helpful! Told me how to order in advance, more than 1 person asked if we needed help right away. Ive worked in restaurants all my life, served, managed, cooked, all of it. This place is run well. Owners are on the ball. 🤩🤩

Most of the people who become upset about where to stand or structure dont enjoy paying attention only watch other ppl and want to be told what to do every instance even though many people are being served first before them or dont understand the culture of Moreno.. its not McDonalds or Chipotle. They hooked me up. I have never been so happy from a company making a cake and go above. When I tell you they took time to help me figure this out from the picture idea I had but did more I could not believe the result.This bakery have the kindest employees I experienced in food. You can tell they care about how you feel as a customer. Everything is crafted with love. They even make designed cookies for kids or kids at heart.I will always choose Moreno Bakery 1st.

Yummy, yummy. The fried shrimp are scrumptious and the seafood chowder. I cant get enough of. I go there weekly. I will take pics, next time. Those cookies and cakes are to die for. The devil crab and ham croquettes are a must, you have to try them.

Ordered three cakes from Moreno Bakery today for a birthday party; flavors are written down below,my favorite has to be the vanilla with guava filling, it had a light airy and fruity tropical taste to it.The vanilla with coffee was also pretty good, one concern you could kind of taste crunchy,sugary type particles when you took a bite of this cake. Past the vanilla with chocolate, your very basic flavors, tasted like any other cake like it’s kind. Buttercream Frosting was a bit on the sweet side in my preference. Decoration to the cake was perfect, you could notice the details and professionalism when looking at this well kept and frosted cakes. Very happy with this order, costumer service was awesome, even on the phone, during the most busiest time of the day. Asked if they could make the cakes quicker, she quickly and promptly checked the cake room and added to our order that we wanted it quicker. We will definitely be back for more!

Wow, busy place! We went there at 11 am on a Friday. We got 2 combos (1 entree and 2 sides) and 3 baked goods while we were there. Spent $43 total. I must say though everything is delicious. We had never been there before. I am sure we will be back. They have hot food, sandwiches and baked goods. Cant go wrong to get lunch/dinner there.

First visit today and we were pretty blown away. It was kind of confusing where to stand for the different things but the staff was super helpful. We were given great suggestions for some baked treats and we also brought a couple sandwiches home.There is an insane selection, it was hard to decide what to get! Everything was delicious and we’ll definitely go back.

This is a well oiled machine if you know the order in which to go to the different stations. 1. Order sandwiches and coffee 2. Order any hot meals from the hot bar 3. Order any desserts you want. By the time you have gone through this process your sandwiches and coffee are ready. The food is all excellent no matter what you get!

It’s the best bakery I have ever been to. I started going here years ago when it was much smaller. It makes me so happy they have expanded so much and are doing so well!

First, its SO unorganized! there needs to be some structure that tells people where to go stand for what. It seems the staff dont even know what is going on when you stand at the counter and if you are not watching, you wont get some of the items you ask for. Second, the baked goods are very bland. I am a baker myself and like to try others sweet treats to get ideas but I could truly help you guys out! put some flavor in those goods!! Today I tried the small Key Lime Pies. It literally tasted like sweetened condensed milk with a light hint of key lime. The Key Lime should have a good ole Tart kick when you take that first bite! My husband ordered items from the hot bar and when he got home, he had nothing but the sweet items he picked out. As I said in the beginning, the right hand has no clue what the left is doing in that place. You guys need some serious management help and someone who knows how to add some flavor to that food!

I love this place. I was just in Tampa and went here with my family. They have a section of the bakery where you can order hot dishes. I had the ox tails, turnip greens and garbanzo bean soup. Fresh and not greasy or oily. The food is Cuban with a few southern sides. The bakery items are also incredible. They have cannolis, Napoleons, Italian wedding cookies and all kinds of pastries. They also have Cuban coffee.

Great service from the staff. They work very hard and are always helpful. Wonderful hot food, especially good for a night of no cooking. Sandwiches are awesome, too.

Sweet tooth heaven! The diversity of sweets, breads, bakery goods will give you choices that will last for weeks on end!😋.....great place to stop over from work, church, shopping etc. and sit down for a good cup of java or a refreshment of your delight, plus a delightful pastry and relax.

Delicious place. But buyer beware! I had terrible heart palpitations. These are extremely dangerous if they last too long. I called this place and asked if their food contained MSG and Susan Moreno said, “I can’t pull all those ingredients for you.” But that’s something you have to do when you serve the public.. I don’t have an underlying heart issue. And things got really bad. I’m laying down STILL extremely dizzy. I guess they can pay the hospital bills. It’s the only thing I ate today. Susan Moreno did not care! She had no interest in helping me. She said if you have this problem you shouldn’t eat here. Terribly rude…. I’ve had this empanada before no issues. They changed something. Her treatment towards my family and I won’t stand we won’t be going back.

Morenos bakery always exceeds expectations. The bakery items are delicious and thier Cuban bread is done of the best in the state. The hot counter food is plentiful and heartwarming while the pressed sandwiches crunch so good with each bite. We make a point to visit each time we are passing through Brandon to pickup brownie cookies for the trip home, so good!

Moreno Bakery offers a tremendous variety on f baked goods and meals. The store is spacious, clean, well staffed and organized. Prices are on the higher side. Some baked items are exceptional, others not as good as those baked at Publix. Plenty of parking.

Cakes looked Delicious, sweet potato pie was delicious and cuban sandwiche foot long, My first time in there and it was packed. I came with my coworker and coming back soon with My hubby🤩

So I just ordered my daughters first donut birthday cake through Moreno Bakery after trying several other cake stores I believe I talked to the owner she promised me that the cake would turn out and look exactly like the picture how I wanted it and she kept her promise I got so many compliments on how pretty the cake was and how good the cake was I will definitely be coming back there in the future to order more birthday cakes for my daughter ❤️

The place is chaotic but the food is delicious and the staff is friendly. I typically go for the huge cupcakes. Most of the time they are extremely fresh. Every once in a while they taste a day old, but still good.The hot food is ok as well. Even though pricier than my likes but Im a little cheap. Shrimp and 2 sides cost me $18.If youre a coffee drinker try the Cafe con Leche 😋

Ham crochets a 9. Meat pies a 4 (they have something inside them that I cant make out, its either yuca or potatoes but its mushy and flavorless and takes away from the meat filling). The stuffed potatoes are a 10 as they are exactly how you expect a traditional stuffed potato to taste. The service was on point as the ladies were constantly asking who they could help which was awesome. I do recommend the place because the variety of foods were amazing and Im sure there is something there you would love. I even found gluten free baked goods for my daughter which made her happy.

We have been here for years, and normally we order the same things. This time we decided to change it up and ordered lamb, a sub and some sweets. The sub and sweets were great. However, the lamb was blend and cold. Collard greens were very blend as well. Im a little disappointed with my hot food needless to say. I wasted $13 and still left hungry. Also, there is no formed line to pay. As we were led to the register to pay by a employee, the person standing by the pole away from the register started mumbling that there is a line. However, I do not see a line formed; people were just standing around (not in a line). Furthermore, I was led to the register by the employee to go ahead and pay. Therefore, I was not sure what was going on and why I was led to the register. Worst yet experience.

Definitely a hidden gem, love this place, everything is hand made in store from what I can tell, and its all delicious, hot food, sandwiches, and all the sweets you can want in one place.

Sorry but I was disappointed, even the Empanadas taste sweet even if filled with beef. Just the Pineapple with melted Sugar small cake tasted really good. To sweet icings, just the icing with cool weep creme was OK by coconut pie, but the pie was made with pudim like by Walmart, just must expansive. Puff pastry all with some jelly, no fresh fruits or nuts, I cant cooking like a professional, but I can make better.

Put in a catering order for the cuban platter and a bunch of other food. Great service. On time and called to let you know the food is ready. I have eaten here many times. Have not had any bad food. Cupcakes are huge! Can be shared or not. Will come back again and again. Oh, it does get busy during the holidays and lunch time, be patient! It is worth it.

The food is old and stale, both food and pastries. They serve a good amount of food but that just does not justify serving old food that should be thrown away. Maybe is good enough for non-hispanic people and that’s who they are targeting. What a deception.

We just went in for bake goods so I cant review the savory food they sell. The cookies were OK a little to crispy for me I prefer a Ooey-gooey one. The pastries on the other hand are flaky and delicious! The cupcakes (mini cakes to me) are fluffy, flavorful, and fantastic!

This place is over priced beyond belief. 4 dollars for 1 deviled crab that measures the size of 2 wine corks? Covid or supply chain issues are not the reason for this price. I ordered a galaxy themed cake and it was perfectly decorated as well as great tasting. I had them brush tres leches due to the design and add guava as a filling. Yum! Thanks Moreno Bakery! Other then that very tasty and the design was exactly what I wanted. Thank you!

Delicious cuban sandwiches. I also got a cannoli and rainbow square for dessert. It was hard to decide between the savory and the sweets because it all looked so good. Would definitely return here next time Im in town.

We love the bakery items and its very easy to spend $50 cause it all looks and taste great. Only drawback is its always very busy so be patient and enjoy the atmosphere. Wish there was another location but we are still ok to drive an hour and a half for a great experience.
