A doorway that was an odd size, on my third used door since I moved down here 10 years ago.Then ... I found Sun Window & Door.They sent their guy out he got exact measurements, showed me what I could order, custom made locally (something we try to do) showed me the different hardware (handles, styles etc...) that I could have.Went over why their door would last and to tell the truth it is a nice sturdy door compared to everything that Ive had.Ordered door, lined up when would be a good time to install.Thats when I really came to be impressed, because of heavy rain I had a threshold that I had made which did a good job of keeping the water out.I told them to go ahead and knock it out if it was in the way.They looked at it and said its solid and if it works well try to work around it.They did and Quickly too.Its nice when you get people who know what theyre doing, and are craftsman with their tools.

I had an exceptional experience with sun Window and their professional and patient staff. I ordered a hurricane sliding door and large bedroom windows. Covid arrived I had to return to Canada . They stored the product for 18 months. I came down for the install. Every approval and detail were impeccably and timely done. Candi helped with all kinds of challenges . The crew chief was exceptional and the rest of the staff solved lots of old construction issues. Replacing hurricane grade windows in a Florida home is a significant investment. We interviewed 6 companies...and decided to work with SUN WINDOWS. The bottom line price for this complete job was not the lowest...however it was the BEST! There was not a question that JOHN could not answer impromptu. That impressed us (with my husbands 40+ years experience in construction). John was superseded only by his install crew! Robby & Stephen steered the install ship...every (12) window & door in our home was replaced in (4) days. Their professionalism, cleanliness, promptness, courtesy, & knowledge was 2nd to none! I know there are several Bradenton and Sarasota window companies to choose among, and I want to highly recommend Sun. i got 3 quotes for identical windows (from the same manufacturer), and Sun was the most affordable by a few hundred dollars. but thats only part of the story. Sun has been around a long time, its family owned and local, and from the office people to the installers, they have an amazing, conscientious staff. the communication about product availability, scheduling, etc was beyond what i expected or asked for. they just do it right, start to finish. if i could give them 10 stars, i would.

Worst experience. Bad company to do business with. Look at other installers before giving them your business.

We had our new windows and slider installed last September. The quote was good, the installation went very well, and the results are amazing. They customized our job in a way that made us very happy. We did the white inside and bronze outside. It is so quiet inside our house now too and the electric bill is down. I highly recommend Sun Window & Door.

I am very impressed with the speed at which my vinyl windows were repaired. I was told 3 days and to my surprise they were ready next day.I also needed a window pane replaced recently and it was in season so I was told it would be a few weeks, which was fine and I got a call 2 hours later one of the techs got back early from another job so they sent them right up and it was done neatly and for a fair price. Absolutely thrilled with our new windows. We had 6 windows that are now 5 replaced with Hurricane windows. We had a hurricane window in a home we recently purchased fail on us, and Sun Windows came out out and replaced it and got us some new bearings for our slider doors so we can actually open and close them now. Stephen was terrific, he even figured out where the seal on one of the other windows had cracked and was allowing water to get in on particularly heavy rainstorms. The office staff was very helpful and responsive and the service was terrific. I HIGHLY recommend using them!

At first I was going to give a 2 star review. That changed. A mistake was made with my screen and it didnt fit. I took it back the next day and within 90 minutes The new one was ready. Another local Company tried convincing me I needed new windows and that they no longer make parts for my 17yr. old double pane windows. They were able to say this without even coming out! We have 3 sets of old sliding doors that have never worked well. I was afraid they would need to be replaced but Sun Window took them all down and reworked things and they work wonderfully. I found them to be very helpful and pleasant. They treated me as if I was looking for something costing thousands of dollars instead of the small item I was after. I was never questioned who installed the windows as their only concern was making sure I was taken care of. I will certainly be a returning customer because of the service they provided. I am staying at a rental condo on Long Boat Key. The large sliding glass doors were not working right (very hard to open and close and unable to lock) The management at the condo called Sun Window & Door to have repairs made.I was told that the repair men would be here between 2p and 4p. At 2pm Mike and Ben arrived and started working on the doorThe took the doors apart replacing parts ,cleaning adjusting and lubing the door and tracks. They cleaned everything up were very polite.You should be proud to have such good employees .

Im glad to have the screens replaced on our pool cage. After a couple of delays one with weather and one with a great life event for Jarrod. The 2 gentlemen that came to repair my bedroom window (after a golf ball had gone through it) did an excellent job. They were very knowledgeable, courteous and quick. Thank you Sun Windows for a job very well done.

Very happy! Workers were efficient, courteous and tidy - John, the boss, showed up to get things started. :-) Jessie in the office followed up via phone each step of the way so that I understood the schedule and process. Finally, the windows are beautiful and Im relieved to have this done at a reasonable price!

They did an a amazing job. They changed out 14 old windows and put in high impact windows. They showed up at 8:30 and were done by 2:30pm. This included lunch and two breaks because of torrential down pours. They were very efficient and personable. There was a crew of about 8 guys and they moved like a well oiled machine. They even fixed my front door that was sticking. The inspector even commented on what a great job they had done and that they always double checked their work. I would highly recommend them. And I will use them again.

It took 3 weeks to get appointment and even then they messed up scheduling of it. Because it took so long, we ended up calling three other companies. Thank goodness we did. The window they gave us was 10am to 3pm. Of course they showed up at 3pm and said they couldnt do what three other companies said they can.

We were very pleased with the workmanship and punctuality of the installment team. Everything was done expertly. I highly recommend this business!

The knowledge and customer service of Suns installers (on both days) was excellent. They were friendly, courteous and a joy to work with. It appears all of their people are well trained in all aspects of the company. We would highly recommend this company to perspective customers; something that we have found doesn’t happen to this degree very often.

Excellent Company to work w/. From start to finish everything was explained to me each step of the way. Staff was beyond professional and knowledgeable about the High Impact windows and sliders that I purchased. Its a major expense and the treated me as if is was a large expenditure for me because it was! Installers were highly trained and again explained everything to me and showed me everything that was going on.

I have been extremely impressed with the professionalism, the prompt and timely service and the final product provided by Sun Window and Door.We decided to stagger three separate window replacement projects over the course of several months. John, in particular, was excellent in communicating what was going on with each of our window replacement projects. As my wife and I keep busy schedules, it was a bit of a challenge to schedule installation when someone could be at our home. John and his team had no trouble working within these logistical constraints and the job(s) were completed on time and without inconvenience.I would highly recommend Sun Window and Door to anyone.
