We had a two part tow,from Marine Jacks in Sarasota to Shell Point Marina in Ruskin. Our first leg of the journey was with Josh, who was friendly and kind, but admitted he was new so didnt have much experience. He placed us in the very capable hands of Captain York when we got to Cortez Bridge, near Anna Maria Island to anchor for the night. Captain York was very knowledgeable, and personable. He made sure our anchor was set well, showed us how to make sure we werent drifting, and shared quite a bit of valuable knowledge. The next morning we continued our journey with Captain York, who made sure we were safe and in good hands, our boat docked and we were taken care of before he left us to the care of the Marina. Captain York was awesome, and we would recommend him to anyone!

Response after the call was okay and arrived on scene of our breakdown decent fast. Operator of towboat was under par. Didn’t seem to have good knowledge of operating boat and hooking up to tow seemed like he struggled in knowing how.. kinda a ok experience but nothing to brag about.

As always, the awesome people as SeaTow provided valuable local knowledge of the area which kept us from an area where we may have needed their services (we didnt hit ground in our sailboat, thanks!)

Prompt, Professional and Friendly service when we needed it most. We called Sea Tow when our boat would not start near Desoto Monument Park. We were out with our 2 kids and were thankful to be towed within 30 minutes of calling Sea Tow Captain Elas.

My boat broke down in Bradenton beach and I wanted to get towed north ,(Marker one marina in Dunedin would have been fine.). I have the unlimited coverage which I have paid for Years. He would not tow me because he said I am at a repair facility. Very disappointed. I will take this to corporate.

Elas our Sea Tow captain was prompt and professional. He truly cares about his fellow boaters. If you want peace of mind and security on the water you need SeaTow. That other service on the water didnt care if we slept all night in the cold on the water. SeaTow and Captain Elas put our safety first. Great Captain! Great Company!

After helping us navigate a channel at 11:00 pm, the rep called back several times, even waited up until almost 1 am to ensure we were okay. So appreciative!!!!

BE CAREFUL! Customer service and compassion is lacking at local Bradenton SEA TOW. My husband and I were members of Sea Tow for the last almost 9 years. We had our account on automatic renewal with them to ensure we always have coverage for our boat, in the event of an emergency. My husband called in December, 2016, and the woman he spoke to at Sea Tow said he was covered and she took his credit card number. Long story short, we are stranded with our 3 kids on Spring Break and we called today and Sea Tow said we are not covered. Sea Tow said they tried to reach us, but we didnt receive any phone calls or letters. We asked them if they could renew us today (the cost is $800 without a renewal) and they refused. We even called the New York office. It took over an hour dealing with them in trying to get them to make this right. They refused. We are now stuck and having to make alternate arrangements.

DONT USE boat tow BOATUS BRADENTON UNLESS YOU LIKE GETTING SOAKED FOR EVERYTHING YOU GOT and HOURS THAT DONT EXIST! SEATOW BRADENTON boat towing IS YOUR BEST BET IN A TIME ALREADY STRESSFUL FOR YOU.SEATOW BRADENTON rocks! A Captain named Duke towed my boat and he was AWESOME! He even fixed a leak that was there prior no charge. He routinely helps people out without charge if he happens to be passing by......and he is worth EVERY PENNY!I KNOW its hard to find a tow person you can trust. I was never in distress and on dry land, just wanting to see if my 4 ton 34 Trojan boat would even float and to then tow it over to Blenker Marine [who I also ADORE by the way] and this was an hour tow from Cortez Kitchen area. On a windy and high traffic day, it can be two hours easy!I priced this for four weeks before I made an agreement, and yes it was several hundred dollars-but FAR BETTER than the $1,250 BOATUS wanted--almost half the price. I discuss BOATUS in-depth below...SEATOW WAS THE ANSWER and quoted honestly as to what the time estimate would be. The ride was actually fun and he knew what he was doing AND had major HP to pull my 4 ton boat. Duke also was able to park my 34 boat in a difficult slip - within minutes. It is not usually easy to get my powerless large boat in such a slip. He did not nickle and dime me over the extra time to park it and so on.BOATUS? No they dont own each other. I was starting to think they did when I first started calling. And yes, countrywide - BOATUS was showing slightly better reviews. But what I found is tow Captains are totally different city to city. Captain Finn Wood quoted me two hours on a very windy day w high traffic. I waited a few weeks for it to quiet down and called again. He still quoted two hours which was NEVER true and that is above $1,000. And Captain Finn Woods boat is tiny compared to what SeaTow had. It is possible my trip would have been twice the time given half the HP Finn Woods boat seemed to have.When I pointed out it was much better weather and low traffic to BOATUS Captain Finn Wood, he maintained he still wanted the two hours (grand) he quoted the first time. I asked what if you take longer-do I keep on owing? Meaning could I offer a grand flat rate? He would not even give a flat rate to do the job. His assistant said this to me! If you want a flat rate and it goes over, we will stop the tow right where you are and cut the line and leave...I could not believe she said that to me. It is because BOATUS had slightly better national reviews I was trying to stay with them. I am SO GLAD I WENT TO SEATOW !!! I hope you do too because tow companies make a killing and we may as well support the NICE ONE and not the one whose only real interest is making as much money as humanely possible, and even fudging time frames to their own benefit to do it.
