These are TOUGH times for car dealerships, but Bozeman Ford and Tom Storey were spectacular when I came in a week ago with a narrow request and a tight timeline. We jumped some crazy hurdles, but I was in my truck making a 1000 mile trip with a kid, a kitty, a puppy, and a mighty load of stuff within 24 hours. I have purchased at least 20 autos in my lifetime, and this was the best experience I ever had by a country mile!! Mr. Wallin has a top-notch organization, and Tom will be my first recommendation to anyone looking for a vehicle. He is the pinnacle of professionalism, expertise, and customer service. Every person we worked with at Bozeman Ford made us feel welcome and well-supported. And the truck…Oh my, what a treasure!

This dealership has changed hands. The new owner has problems. I just called on 10/27 to make a service appointment for a problem. The first available appointment is 12/21 -- 55 days, or almost two months until I can get my car in. Thats pretty much as good as not existing.

We recently had a Ford150 towed in at the last minute, thinking this was going to be a huge issue. Every single person in that service department was amazing. They are clear, helpful, patient and responsive. These people know good customer service! Anthony was helpful and thorough even when he was slammed. Rob and the other men jump in to help wherever they can and are so polite. The service Manager and her Department has sold me on Bozeman Ford. Great Job!!! Oh and they did a great job on our vehicle!

Hands down the best experience I’ve ever had at a dealership. I have bought 4 new Fords from 4 different dealers, Bozeman Ford hands down take the cake. We were treated extremely professional and the staff was amazing. Terry and Pete were great! Terry was extremely knowledgeable about the F-150 we bought. Hello, my husband and I recently purchased an F150 through Bozeman Ford Lincoln, with the help of sales professional Tom Storey. The process was pretty quick and easy. I emailed the dealer earlier in the week and was connected with Tom and he was able to begin our process the day before (makes it easier as we’re from out of town). As soon as we walked in we were both greeted by name. Soon after we were on the test drive. The drive was very informative and let us get to know the truck and our sales professional. The vehicle had all the bells and whistles we were looking for, was clean, and the information I read about the vehicle online prior to the visit matched what the vehicle actually had. The rest of the process maybe took an hour, signing etc. While we were signing the paper work Tom was preparing the truck for the hand off. The experience at this dealership was above and beyond. They have a great team and I hope to work with them and Tom in the future!! Thanks Again!! We love our truck!!

We recently purchased a new 2021 F 250. Our salesperson (Terry) did a great job and made the transaction painless. Unfortunately, the rest of the dealership failed miserably. We had purchased the paint protectant and glass protectant. The cost was $1,500 for this. We were told that it would be applied that same day and to go have lunch and when we returned it would be done. Two hours later when we returned, nothing was done. Our salesperson was very apologetic. He said the finance manger would take care of it. That never happened! The service department dropped the ball and the finance manager finally refunded our money after numerous phone calls and stress on our part. I would not recommend Bozeman Ford. Ford should really take a close look into this dealership and see what’s wrong!!! They are wreaking a great product name. I’m going to Helena Ford now.

Takes 3 months to get in a service appointment and then over another month for them to complete my truck for a simple back up camera. I would not buy a truck from them because they won’t be able to service it. They’ve used the excuse that 3-4 of their techs have quit in the past couple months.

Had reason to buy a car in the Northwest (Portland), use it there for a few months and then drive it back to Florida where I live. I wanted a white 2020 Nissan Kicks at base trim level, but getting a price for new or used ones from Nissan dealerships in the Portland area was like pulling teeth. So I looked further afield using Autotrader, found the car I wanted used, a 2020 with just 2,800 miles, and it was at Bozeman Ford.We agreed on a price (a great rice by the way, it had sat on their lot for 40 days) and picking it up was smooth and as expected. Albert and Terry were very helpful, as was Peter in the business office.By flying to Bozeman instead of directly to Portland, I also got a great trip through the American West. I visited Missouri Headwaters State Park just 30 mins west of Bozeman, Helena and Butte, and Yellowstone. The picture shows the car in Yellowstone. I also got to do a fantastic drive through Idaho and Oregon visiting more national parks and seeing natural beauty. I may want to buy from Bozeman Ford again just so that I get to see more of the country while driving the car out of there!

If youre thinking of purchasing a Ford and live in the Bozeman area, think again.I have had one of my fleet vehicles in their shop for warranty repairs on three separate occasions (for the same issue), beginning in early March, 2021. The first time, it was there for approximately 3 weeks, the second time for roughly the same time period. This time, it has been a month and the only information Im getting back is that an on-site engineer is supposed to be there to work with the technician to get the vehicle repaired and to please be patient. My patience ran out weeks ago. We are approaching 12 weeks without this vehicle since early March (the first occurrence of the symptom was 22 February, 2021). Now, Im making payments on a vehicle that I desperately need to be on the road and looking at the prospect of having to rent a cargo van for the foreseeable future due to Ford’s lackadaisical approach to this repair.Do yourself a favor: Buy a Toyota. Or a Chevy. Or... literally anything else.Update: I went in and spoke with them again. Still not happy, still no ETA, but they have escalated this “as high as it can go”.

I have had many interactions with each department at Bozeman Ford over the years including sales, service, and quick lube. As a car enthusiast I have a lot of experience with dealers and independent mechanics across different brands and regions. My experiences at Bozeman Ford comprise some of the worst customer service, and overall service I have had to date, anywhere. I really dislike leaving a bad review, but I hope that sharing my opinion will help other consumers and perhaps encourage Bozeman Ford to offer better service.These are tough times in Bozeman for businesses right now with rapidly increasing consumer demand and challenges finding labor, but even relative to how the rest of the town is coping with these challenges, Bozeman Ford is well behind the curve. Typical experiences during the many repairs I had on my sub 30,000 mile Ford Raptor included great difficulty in getting anyone in maintenance or service to respond to my inquires, and then ludicrous lead times to schedule important warranty repair when I did get a call back, unreasonably long repair times when I finally got it in, no alternate transportation during weekslong repairs, and at times having to fight to get my (ultimately warranted) concerns addressed. I would like to add that the shuttle driver/service assistant (who I got to know quite well) is a great guy and a great asset to the business, and a lead technician/mechanic who I dealt with directly on a few occasions was also a bright spot for the business giving open and honest service.My Ford Raptor proved to have several significant issues, all under warranty. But a warranty is only as useful as the dealer who’s providing the warranty work. I decided this one was not worth it, and recently sold my Ford Raptor and bought a pickup truck from a different brand, motivated in no small part by the fact that I do not want to have to interact with Bozeman Ford again.

Second and last attempt to service my vehicles here. I phoned a few weeks ago to have two vehicles serviced; a warranty repair and a recall repair, however, after hearing a message that states that this call will be recorded, someone picks up and says Ill put you on a brief hold, 7 minutes later I hung up.Without good customer service at a car dealer you might as well close your doors...and congress needs to step in a stop companies from recording our conversations without our implicit permission...this alone is enough to never go to Bozeman Ford.

We were traveling across country pulling our 36’ 5th wheel RV. Along the way, one of the tires on our 2017 Ford F-250 was badly damaged in a construction area. We needed a new tire and we also needed service for the truck. We stopped by Bozeman Ford/Lincoln and made an appointment for the following day. We ended up purchasing four new tires as well as getting our truck serviced and were well pleased. But there was more, while my husband was taking care of the truck I spied a new Lincoln Nautilus on their lot. I had recently sold my Lexus, and was kind of looking for a new car. I fell in love with the Lincoln and bought it. As soon as we get back to Missouri with our truck and trailer we will be flying back to Bozeman to pick up my new car. Both their service and sales departments were very professional and courteous. I highly recommend Bozeman Ford/Lincoln.

Had my water pump fail and lost all my coolant when I was in Bozeman for work. Hobbled into Bozeman Ford and even though they were swamped with work, they were able to get me into their quick lane service, get the new water pump and get me on my way back to Billings. Really appreciate the crew going the extra mile and helping me get my truck fixed when they were already overbooked with work. Able to get back to Billings the same day! They were not pushy.I bought a used vehicle which ended up having some issues that I didn’t find out about until the next day. They agreed to fix the issues at no cost to me. I was very impressed. I was I Bozeman on business. It was -10F during the day and -20 at night. After spending the first night we went to the store before our meeting. The door latches froze open and the doors would not latch closed. I drove to the dealership for help and was offered none, other than directions to a car wash to warm the door grease to allow the latches to work again. So we drove through Bozeman holding our doors closed. Due to the freezing temps, the car washes were all closed as well. We discovered there was a recall on this truck for freezing door latches. I called the dealership again, pointing out the recall and the fact that we were from another state. I was told they couldn’t help me. I understand they couldn’t fix the recall, but there was apparently no help to me at all! I was offered a “good luck”.I found a car wash bay to get out of the wind, took my door apart, and forced the frozen cable back to the closed position with a screw driver. I had to roll down my window and open the door from the outside for the remainder of our trip, which is fine. I only wish Ford would offer SOME help when a full repair isn’t possible. I guess I can say i had the luck they offered because my fingers didn’t freeze off while I forced the cable back closed.

This is actually a post on how rude the lady at the rv place was to my wife and I. We had our camper winterized for$100 just to find out she decided upon herself to do other things as she saw fit without notifying us first. So our bill ended up being $264. Then she argued with us. You never argue with a customer unless you really dont care about the company you are working for. So until I get refunded the extra money I will let my fingers and mouth do the talking.

During a recent trip to Montana I rented a vehicle from Bozeman Ford Lincoln. Although I had called months in advance to reserve a Ford Explorer, I was notified only a couple days before our trip (and only after I called to confirm, again, that we were all set with our rental) that they had, double booked the Explorer and that I would be given a comparable vehicle. Unfortunately it wasnt comparable. It was smaller and it didnt have a third row which I really needed. On top of that they charged me more than what I was originally quoted. Their lack of organization skills and their mediocre customer support should have been a sign for me to rent from somewhere else, but given the state of the rental market at the time I didnt have an alternative.Fast forward through our trip and I end up having a minor fender bender with a tree. Upon turning in the vehicle I made them aware of the damage and over the subsequent days I was in communication with the body shop about the cost of the repairs. Because I was from out of town, and I had rented from a dealership, I had no option but to have the repairs done by their body shop. I knew the repairs would be expensive but $3,335 seemed excessive given the damage, but again, as an out of towner, I had no choice but to pay what they asked and move on. I paid for the damages and thought the issue was resolved.Four weeks after I had paid for the damages, I received a call from the body shop saying that because they had continued to rent the vehicle out to other customers they were just now getting around to actually fixing the vehicle. They explained that upon further inspection they needed another $1,037 to fix another issue they had apparently not seen four weeks earlier when they had assessed the damages. Naturally I pressed them on how they could be certain that what they were looking at was caused by me, because, again, they had continued to rent out the vehicle for 4 weeks after I had turned it in. With no proof, they insisted it was still my problem. Again, because we are out of towners and traveling to Bozeman, hiring local legal counsel, and all the other costs associated with fighting this battle with them would have well exceeded the $1,037 they were asking from me, I begrudgingly paid the amount.I dont know what its like to purchase a car from Bozeman Ford Lincoln, maybe their sales team is great. However, I do have experience working with their rental department, their bodyshop and their customer relations team. There is a high probability you too will ultimately come to feel exploited, taken advantage of and just generally disregarded. You are not a customer, you are a transaction. No one seems to care about providing decent customer service. That, unfortunately, includes the General Manager. My wife sent a very kind email to him asking for a simple phone call. When she did not receive a response, she followed up via email and still received no response. His voicemail was full. It’s very disappointing that the GM could not be bothered to even speak with us about this situation. Please consider taking your business elsewhere.

Some liquid spells on steering wheel and drivers side door, scuff marks on all door panels opening the doors extremely dirty. Just really needed to be detailed you don’t purchase a new vehicle and have to come home and pay someone to detail it

Absolute worst customer service of any of the dealerships in town. Will not come back here again!! They up charge their prices and the manager of the quick lane is extremely rude and Cleary only job is to make as much money from each customer as possible! Threaten to hold my vehicle over the fact that the amount I was quoted was almost triple after it was said and done even after that fact they knew I had just that amount for the services...late to work and now out triple the amount of money..for what?! They say they pride themselves on customer service but clearly all they care about is the next dollar they are making. Take your car/truck else where..

I hate leaving bad reviews, but I really dont want someone else to go through this. I would not bring any vehicle into Bozeman Ford for service. They dont actually look at your vehicle on the scheduled day or service. I Checked our truck in the day before our 8am appointment. After calling and leaving voicemails they retuned my call three business days later to tell me they are pulling our truck in now for service. When we got the vehicle back they fixed the issue (sticking shifter), but now we couldnt take our keys out of the ignition, our blinkers didnt work, and the overdrive button stopped working. I had two wait two months to bring the truck in for service to have the same scheduling issue to then be told they wont cover the repairs and they wanted to charge a diagnosis fee for looking at it. Now being out a work truck for 8 business days we are going to take it somewhere else to do the repair. The staff are all friendly and seem like they want to help, it just seems whoever owns or runs the dealership could care less about customer service or their quality of work.

I knew which truck I wanted to purchase prior to arriving - so there were really no experience to report. I arrived with the financing already done at my financial institution so nothing to report there either.After almost two months we have not received our title paperwork. We have left 6 voicemails with Macayla and she does not return our calls. We have spoken with a couple of her co-workers and we still havent heard back.If you are looking for fast title work go elsewhere this is not the place for you.

Worst service experience ever. You can’t find shadier practices and that’s saying a lot considering dealerships are well know for such acts.Dropped my truck off while I was on a trip for multiple recalls. I also had two other intermittent issues that would still be covered under the bumper to bumper 36K mile warranty.When I arrived, the service writer explains they were not able to duplicate the issue. She then proceeds to charge me $130 in diagnostic fees? I explained that of all of the new vehicles I had purchased and related warranty claims - I had never been charged as such. She then tells me if they don’t repair the problem they have to charge the customer because they can’t file a warranty claim since they don’t know what was wrong. So my next question was “So anytime I bring in a $80,000 truck under warranty to you I stand to have to pay if you are not competent enough to repair it?”She literally replied “Yes”. Wow!Take your vehicle here if you choose but I wouldn’t take my ex-wife’s vehicle here. Calling Ford Corporate next. I don’t expect to get my money back but someone needs to do something about this dealership.

I booked a last minute trip to Montana. It was a high priority week and the rental cars at the airport were all booked. I started calling dealerships and then I found Bozeman Ford Lincoln. I was quickly transferred to Kami McGilvray in the rental department. Talk about service!!! She delivered me a luxury Lincoln to the airport, sent me a picture of where it was located, gave me her cell number just in case I had issues, and picked the car back up at the airport. SERVICE SERVICE SERVICE!!! All of this was at an extremely great deal!! We were there for a wedding and believe me when I say I was driving the most comfortable car at the wedding. My family and I were at dinner. Came out and it wouldn’t start. Had towed to Bozeman Ford. They locked at it the next morning. We were supposed to be leaving that morning to go back home. They found it needed a starter. They didn’t have one but found a local part store that did. Got here and installed. Can’t be happier with there service department and parts department. Drove up to get a Jeep Wrangler from Idaho Falls. We told them we were on our way and they held it for us. When we arrived the Jeep was parked in front of the building just waiting. The atmosphere was welcoming and comforting. All of the fluids were changed and the Jeep was clean. There was some damage on the vinyl seats and they told us someone would come all the way to Idaho Falls to fix it, without even having to ask if they would. Maybe weve just had unusually bad experiences with most dealerships but we are surprised that someone actually came the 4 hours or so to us and fixed the seat for us. So happy with their service! They certainly went above and beyond.

I needed some warranty work done on my F-150. I tried to schedule an appointment on line. I got a response saying that someone would contact me. I never heard back so I responded to the e-mail several days later stating that I never received a response. I never head back. I called and had to leave a message, still no response. I havent heard real good things about the service department there and now I know why. Im guessing If you dont care about getting my business, you probably wont care about me once you have my business. I guess being the only Ford dealer in town has its advantages. Im heading to Butte.

I found a car that I wanted that only Bozeman had, I flew 1700 miles across the country and did everything over the phone and email, it was effortless. Knowledgeable staff about Ford products and finance options. Of all the cars I have purchased 3 BMW, 2 chevys, 1 Cadillac and 1 Toyota, this was hands the BEST buying experience. Straight forward no double dealing, no lying unlike (CHEVY dealer in Albuquerque NM).Bozeman Ford spent time a solid hour going over all the electronic wizardry and mechanical features.

After helping me find just the car I needed he handled the financial aspects over the phone, had all paperwork ready, and even picked me up from the airport. CAPTAINS LOG STAR DATE DECEMBER 3RD 2020:It has been approximately 1 year 10 months 18 days and close to 5 hours since I was contacted by the Ford Dealership located in the Bozeman. I was informed that I would be contacted shortly after inquiring about their Ford Rangers but there has been no contact since then.I informed the Federation Council that they should send a patrol to see if there were still signs of life. But I have yet to here back. Its. As. If. A. Black hole opened up and swallowed everything in sight.I will update this captains log when I am contacted. Until then, I will have to continue to stop at the adjacent sector in Billings for all my future ford needs.

I had a great experience at Ford Lincoln. After driving a 95 Ford around for 8 years, my wife and I decided it was time to upgrade my car. I did a lot of research online before coming in; I found this dealerships website and online inventory was very useful to browse so that when I got to the dealership I could get right down to business. At the dealership, Terry helped get me started and set me up for a test drive. It was a good test drive, so I brought up moving forward with the purchase. We then talked financing options and Pete took over to finalize financing and package options. I found that many of the packages are cash-grabs, but some are nice for quality of life improvements (and lower interest rates); it just depends on your circumstances. At the end of the day, I walked away with a 2019 used car within my price range, and I was happy with the experience. Terry and Pete did a great job.

I enjoyed working with Tom Story and all the guys who helped get the paperwork done so I could surprise my son. Tom went through everything with me. He took the vehicle had it washed detailed and it looked great b fore but super clean and just like new even though it was a used Ford. My son is very happy with it, I’d recommend Ford for new or used vehicles everyone was excellent to work with. If I need another vehicle this is where I will go. I’d been all over the car lots searching and drove in the Ford lot and it was destiny just what I was looking for right price and low miles. It looks as if it is brand new.

After making a reservation online to look at an escape, called and was told reservations dont actually reserve anything. So I unexpectedly went in right then, having to take my kiddo with me. Even though I had just called, I had to sit and wait for the salesperson. After test driving, and having my vehicle already cleaned and ready for a trade, I told them I was prepared to write a check for the full amount. I was told theyd be able to find financing, even with me currently not working. Instead, I ended up with a hard inquiry on my credit report, and having to write a check weeks later, as financing was not available through them, even though I definitely fit the criteria. It took them days of saying they kept emailing paperwork before I actually got it. The title work in Bozeman was an absolute nightmare. When I went in to complain, no one at Bozeman Ford even pretended to be nice. They didnt even offer to let me sit down, ignored me for quite awhile. I ended up finding a 4 runner at a different local dealership, and everyone was absolutely wonderful, no matter how many times I went in to talk to them, and even after the purchase. There was no issue with me paying up front, or anyone being pushy about financing. The title work at the other dealer was a breeze, as was all of the paperwork. I will not recommend or buy from Bozeman Ford. Ive used Ressler and Denny Menholt with absolutely no issues, for another SUV and a car in the past years. The escape is gone, after getting the title work, no thanks to Bozeman Ford. They just repeatedly told me to go online, like Im an idiot who wouldnt have thought of that. I went to Belgrade multiple times, called and left messages in Bozeman when they still allowed messages, emailed, went when I could to the courthouse to try to get in, and was finally so frustrated I went to a different towns courthouse and begged them for help. They were kind enough to help me navigate the courthouse drama as much as they could, which gave me a leg up, as I was finally able to get an email response. I then had to be on pins and needles for phone calls and emails the next week to actually get the title, which would then be mailed in a month. I had none of these issues with the 4 runner. Literally zero issues. I actually received the 4 runner title before the escapes. Still during the same pandemic that Bozeman Ford claimed was the problem. Good riddance to the escape, and Bozeman Ford.
