Came in for a nonstandard bike tire size and the staff was very knowledgeable and unbelievably helpful

Ive had nothing but problems with my k2 since they worked on it. Ive taken it back twice and each time they said it was something different without even looking at the bike. Kind of hard to diagnose the problem when you dont look. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. Thanks for nothing.

The crew at Summit are simply the best! While other local shops turned us away and told us to stop tele skiing (@RoundHouse), Summit always has our back. They are eager to problem solve and help with your repair or product questions. We truly love these guys... thanks for keeping the stoke alive!

Great shop! I bought a nice Bianchi road bike here and Steve did a fantastic job setting it up. Love Kona and Bianchi bikes, which they sell. I also recommend them for service. Very down to earth shop as well.

Great bike shop. Had my bike shipped there and they did a nice job putting it back together pretty quickly and for a good price. I recently had a sort of tricky issue with my gears/chain; Steve was extremely helpful, put a lot of care into figuring out what was wrong, stayed after hours to work on it even though I said I wouldnt mind leaving it there to pick up the next day, and he fixed it! Rides better than ever now. Thanks Steve and Summit for being awesome!

Great attention to detail. I shopped for a bike around town and received good service everywhere but the guys at Summit Bike had a different way of focusing on the rider. They really go out of their way to take time to introduce you into a range of different bikes to help you decide which style and size is the best fit. While shopping, I overheard several scenarios where the mechanics provided honest feedback to customers that would save money for the customer rather than push the most expensive options for the benefit of the business.

These guys are the best! When I visited recently, and needed special skis, they set me up perfectly, at a great price, and were really pleasant and helpful. This is the kind of very local, authentic shop that has mostly disappeared in todays corporate-ruled environment. It was a total pleasure to meet Steve and Lee. Thank you so much!!!

I went in to get a rim and two tires when I got home my rim and my tires did not fit my bike. I called and explained what happened, I was informed that they could not return my purchase but exchange out the parts.I came back in and we sorted it out when the manager came up and said that he would rather help me find the correct parts which was fine with me. The manager said he would straighten my old rim and fix the broken spoke as well as find some tires for me.I called a couple of times and it was a day later than expected which I was fine with and when I came in to pick up my stuff to my surprise both of my rims were mounted with tires and inner tubes. I even got some money backI am very happy with my experience and will be returning if I ever need any bike related

Took my bike here for some adjustments after I had my bike shipped to me via Amazon, they went over everything with a fine toothed comb, adjusted things I wouldnt even have thought to look at and straightened the handlebars that were a bit off from shipping. Charged me very little for looking at it and fine tuning, gave me great advice for future maintenance, and took very little time adjusting and looking over my bike. Everyone was super friendly and helpful! I will definitely be going here again for all my bike repair and maintenance needs!

This is a great bike shop and they were extremely accommodating. I showed up 10 minutes before closing and was able to buy a new set of tires and they agreed to change them out which meant staying well after closing time. Thanks again for helping me out!

Best service shop for bikes in town. Everyone is a mechanic and really aim to get your bike setup right every time. Prices are very reasonable. They retail bikes and were pretty helpful finding the right bike/price for me, but I would consider them a service shop first and a retail shop second. Either way, theyve earned my repeat business time and again.

Best shop in the valley by a longshot. The crew is skilled, knowledgeable and friendly. Cheapest labor rates Ive ever seen out of a bike shop, very fair prices on components and complete bikes, and labor turn around is fast so you can get your bike fixed, be sure its done right, and get back on the road usually in the same day. As a dedicated cyclist I wouldnt recommend any other shop.

This is the best bike shop in town, and it is the only place I go. Top notch customer service and employees who love what they do - and even better - know what they are doing! Dont miss this place next time you need anything bike related.

The guys as Summit have always treated me really well. Never have I been talked down to because I dont know as much about bikes as they do... much appreciated having dealt with the dick-heads at some other shops in town.

Summit personifies the classic understanding of how a shop operates. It doesnt care with contemporary retail philosophies concerning sales techniques, floor layout, or anything else--parts and bikes are everywhere, and the conversations with the employees dont have an ounce of intentional salesmanship. Ive never felt like Im getting played or oversold. Everything is really no pressure, really casual.What separates this place is their service. No matter who checks in your bike or is there to answer questions, you will be talking with someone who knows what theyre doing. So far every bike Ive brought in has been dialed perfectly, and every road bump has been met with an amazing attention to detail. But not only that, they do their labor for an incredibly generous price.We get used to the modern stores--target, rei, or whatever--and shops like to emulate that. I can appreciate why that makes folks more comfortable, but I dont think youll get better service anywhere else in Bozeman based on the sheer consistency Ive seen in their employees.They also sell Santa Cruz. Everyone should buy a Santa Cruz. Go buy one here.

A really authentic bicycle shop experience. They are well priced​and nice too.

I needed a new left grip shifter (not a whole pair), and they opened up a new box and pieced out just the left side to me for 15 bucks. Friendly, casual, affordable and helpful. Cant beat that!

The best shop for repairs and parts

Purchased a Kona bike, come to fine out a year later the components on the bike are from a less expensive model. Was not made aware of this prior to purchase, I dont know bikes, I just trusted the Kona I purchased came with all the high quality and original parts. Some of the components were even dangerous to have put on the bike e.g. spacer on the pedals was only washers!

Had everything we needed to prep for a road bike trip.

This is the best bike shop in Bozeman for everything hands down. Been to REI and Bangtail and they cant touch the price/service combo that these guys put forth.Seriously your paying 20%->300% more going to Bangtail or REI for a job that is at best equal to Summits work.This guy sells and works on bikes because he likes doing it, not for profit.

Cheap labor, friendly service, and dig the used parts bins.
