This place is pretty good. I ordered an espresso here and it was easily the worst I’ve ever had; it had lots of coffee grounds in it and was really gritty. I’ve never had an espresso this low quality and it’s my go-to drink at coffee shops, I get them all the time. Second visit here I got their House Special and it was much better. Maybe the first espresso was just an accident? Four stars for now, I’ll move up to 5 stars if they can deliver on a basic espresso next time I try.

This is a convenient location for all the people who work in the surrounding office park. OZO offers a small but diverse selection of breakfast options - pastries, breakfast sandwich, and four varieties of breakfast burritos. The cold brew coffee (served over ice) is fine. This location has a strong brewery aroma due to its location in the same building as Upslope Brewing, so its a different atmosphere (literally) than most coffee shops.

Always serving a single-origin espresso, always good, and sometimes mind-blowing. The barista we keep seeing there seems exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly.

Soooooo I dont drink coffee. I know. I know. But fortunately coffee is not the only thing that they sell. I enjoy a hot chocolate and they make a great cup. They also offer pastries and sandwiches. The staff is super nice and efficient. Its a dog friendly shop. Recommended

Great place to start your day! Selection of pastries, salads, and burritos is great, plus (of course) great coffee. They always have 2 kinds of espresso blends available, dont be afraid to ask the staff about them; theyre super friendly and helpful.There is abundant seating in the cafe as well as the industrial-feel roasting lab attached.

Coffees Ive had here are a bit bitter but Ive not had any coffee drinks. Plenty of food, both grab-and-go breakfast and lunch options. A lot of space for meeting or opening the laptop to get some stuff done. Its in an office park so its not highly visible unless you go looking for it. But very convenient if you work nearby.

OZO makes good coffee. Just be prepared to dislike everything else after you get used to their quality.

I really love OZOs. Never have I been to a coffee shop where the staff really take an interest in interacting with and getting to know their customers. Within a few days of visiting, many employees already knew my name and the type of drink I like to order. This blows my mind considering that the coffee shop is in a pretty busy office park. In addition to their amazing customer service, they also serve really delicious coffee. If youre in the area, I highly recommend taking a little detour and paying them a visit. You will not be disappointed.

Great WiFi and service. Everyone there is nice and accommodating and very personable. The sitting areas is a little small but it fits. Good place to meet or to work. I was there for 2 hours and I thought it was a good environment. Plus! If youre there long enough you can slip over next door to the brewery for a sneaky pint.

There is no question as to whether or not you should stop here. You should. Everything on the menu is masterfully crafted right in front of your eyes. From the first hint of freshly ground coffee wafting out the door as I walked up to the delicious last drop of my drink, my first experience here was first class, as was every visit Ive had after. The baristas really know their craft, and it shows.

I have been buying my coffee (bags for home) from Ozo for a couple of years now and the quality is outstanding. The prices are actually quite good for the quality of both the coffee and the roasting. Many high quality roasters try to hide their high prices by selling 12oz bags, but all of Ozos are a full pounds. I have brewed their coffee in a number of different brew methods and have always been exceptionally happy with the flavor.

The Ozo House Special is the standard by which I judge all other coffee. Rich flavor, perfect pulls, and lovely barista-art in every cup. And lovely, smiling baristas who are clearly passionate about what they do. I patronize them too often for my own good. And I eat too many of their delicious pastries!

A nice little walk from work for a great cup of coffee or chai tea latte. And the honey fig scone is delicious. The folks are super friendly too.

When ordering, I felt they wanted me to order and get out of their way, so I want able to ask a question about beans or styles.The raspberry muffin I had was correctly made, so Id say its a solid Roaster for a few people to enjoy a cup, but not too learn about where they supply their beans, what I should taste, etc

The BEST coffee in Boulder and the surrounding Denver area! My favorite location of theirs. Excellent and friendly service as always, and always consistent in their roasts/flavor - fresh, nutty, robust - whether its a latte, cold brew, dry cappuccino, etc., just outstanding! Superb ambiance, spacious indoor seating, outdoor patio, and shared space with Upslope brewery next door.

Always good coffee and helpful, friendly staff. You can also buy coffee beans by the pound or larger and of course they will grind them for you if you would like. Only issue is if you go when they are busy you might have to wait a bit!

I took a barista fundamental class here and it was a great experience. The hands on learning was great with instruction as I was making espresso and espresso drinks. Will was a great teacher, outlined everything we needed to do, and was patient with our learning. I would definitely recommend this class to anyone looking to be a barista or for making espresso at home.

Drink was delicious and nice space with lots of seating. Unfortunately, I have to downgrade this place based on the disrespectful customer service I experienced. I heard about their Cholaca menu and was intrigued and came here to check it out. However, while I was waiting for my drink right next to the counter I heard the barista complaining to his coworker about having to make the type of drink I ordered. I find it extremely rude to complain in front of a customer about a drink that is ordered from the menu. It makes the customer feel bad about their order and does not contribute to a welcoming atmosphere.

Favorite Ozo. Smaller and less busy than the other two in Boulder that Ive been to. Baristas are so friendly, and some very excellent coffee.

I really like the baristas they are very open to talk to, but Ozos coffee is not something I would recommend to anyone, the pastries are ready though.

This Ozo is probably my favorite of the Seattle modeled Coffee shop genre, that seems to dominate boulder nowadays. The main difference? The Manager/Staff.I often try and avoid naming names, because not everyone stays in their position forever, but i need to make an exception here. To be brutally honest, no matter the actual quality all coffee/espresso shops become pretty much identical if given enough time, my experiences at This Ozo stand out: Alden who i understood to be the manager, was an amazing person to me and not only made me feel butterflies like you wouldnt believe, but provided exceptional customer service. Alden got my drink order perfectly (even though i had no idea what i wanted coming in) and then proceeded to be as charming as any employee ive ever encountered in service. The team here made me feel both accepted, and wanted in a manner that most restaurants/coffee shops/retail environments just dont get. I wanted to personally mention the (i think?) assistant manager Tory, and one of the employees who had Red hair (I think their name was Hannah but i didnt quite get it sorry!) as being just the very top of the line in providing a memorable and amazing guest experience.Pros- Wide variety of drinks, above average portable food options.GREAT Staff as of March 2018 anyways.Home-like environment that makes you feel warm inside.Cons- Location is a little bit hidden.Price is a bit high, but in Boulder you can expect that.Upslope brewery right next door will rarely contribute rowdy patrons later in the day.The team at this Ozo turned a terrible day into a warm smile for me, i could never ask more from a coffee shop! I quite like Ozo in general, and love the Roastery Cafe in particular. Its quiet, comfortable, and calm. I like to be there to hunker down, slowly enjoy a wonderful coffee, and get a big pile of work done. The resident coffee gurus/nerds are always excited to talk java in excruciating detail, which I enjoy. As another reviewer has already said, for me the pourover is the best drink on the menu. Simple and delicious and a great value at $2.88, tax included.

Ozo has really great Bhakti chai! Im not a big fan of their coffee unfortunately, but a lot of people are. I think its too bitter for my liking. In any case, they have fantastic customer service!!
