My iced matcha latte was absolutely delicious - not to sweet, just as I asked. Service was quick and friendly. I will be back, for sure.

Blandest $16 salad I have ever purchased. The holy chipotle salad tastes like… nothing. Nothing at all. No flavor, no chipotle taste. It is $16 for a bowl of romaine lettuce. You are better off driving to the grocery store and purchasing all the ingredients yourself, too bad I was on the go. Edit: cannot believe the owner asked me to come back and try ANOTHER $16 salad. I would never do that!! Thanks I’ll keep my $16, you clearly didn’t read the review.

Very nice atmosphere and coffee. The decor definitely gives it a cozy feeling, though I wish the metal seating was more comfortable.

Delicious coffee. They have a nice patio area set up in front of the store, and having the choice of sitting outside is great. They also have a large tea selection and many food options.

Social Grounds has a great atmosphere and great coffee. I’ve tried seasonal coffees and regular coffee drinks that are on the menu at all times, both are amazing. They can adjust the sweetness to your liking. The coffee is not always made quickly but it’s definitely worth the wait. You can also order ahead to avoid any wait. Their food is good. It’s your typical coffee shop small plates and snacks. It’s worth a stop if you’re in the area.

Smooth espresso, great food and bakery items, friendly staff, welcoming decor, commitments to environmental and public health issues (hello covid) - what more could you ask?They make the neighborhood coffee shop experience elevated on all levels. No regrets here.

We love this coffee shop. They have great coffee, but also kombucha on tap. Their take-out cups are all compostable, which is important to me. They have a good standard selection of pastries. My kids ask to come here all the time.

The staff is wonderful, very knowledgeable and friendly!I live in the building, and just can’t get enough of this place.The breakfast sandwiches are phenomenal, delicious and easy to take on the go.If you haven’t visited, give it a try.I have yet to be disappointed!

Always a good atmosphere, and always really good coffee. The prices are moderate compared to most places [like starbucks] and its a really good spot to chill with a group [they have games like Jenga] or even grab a quick snack/bite and do schoolwork, or even read. Also they always have clever signs outside ahaha

This cute cafe is my absolute favorite! They have the best espresso, the lattes are beautifully made and actually taste like a latte should. The atmosphere is amazing, the staff is so kind and personable, and the location is great. Awesome place to study at, not too quiet and not too noisy. It’s so worth it, definitely a go to!

I drive here almost daily from Kenmore. I live next to Diva espresso in Kenmore and Social Grounds is 180 degrees! So good, great customer service, REAL Baristas, and good prices.

Great place, nice ambiance and I had their special. Not a lot of space but the macha lavender almond latte with the rhubarb muffin was amazing. Not too sweet and plenty of flavor. Will definitely go back!

Terrific coffee! I had the Hazelnut latte, and the Aztec dark chocolate mocha. My wife had the macha blended drink. All excellent! They have a strong focus on limiting waste, and almost everything is compostable.Review edited for typos

I haven’t been here in some time but the staff is awesome and my oat milk latte was always so, so good. They also have delicious salads and sandwiches.

I really enjoy this place! I try to come here on my work breaks at least once a week. Great coffee I love the flavor. Also I really like the morning/day time staff, super friendly! Soon Im going to buy the bag of ground coffee you can buy from them. Excited to have the coffee at home.

Cute little coffeeshop with cool italian sodas and good pastries! Definitely a great stop if youre in downtown Bothell.

This was a cute and cozy spot. The baristas were welcoming and made a tasty drink. I had to do a phone conference and was worried the small space might be too crowded, but it worked out perfectly. Theres seating along the walls for laptop users and a few tables in the middle for groups. Street parking is difficult but the garage is free.

Delicious drinks, my favorite around here. Their food options are tasty, and the environmental scientist in me loves that they compost or recycle everything!

Food is absolutely amazing and so is the coffee. I had a Doppio Espresso and white mocha all of which were the best coffees Ive ever had. The atmosphere was so chill and cool! The staff were so friendly and attentive.

A cozy, comfortable place to sit and enjoy a pastry with a cup of coffee to wash it down. Pleasant atmosphere, plenty of morning sunlight to warm the soul. Reasonable prices. If youre in Bothell and you have time to stop in. Do so, you just might enjoy yourself.

A nice latte served by pleasant and friendly staff. The scones, however, are kept refrigerated and heated in a microwave resulting in a rubbery texture. Decor is industrial. Not the best vibe for hanging out. Sitting outside would have been a better option.

GREAT coffee shop. My husband and I and our daughter went here for my birthday breakfast after just moving here from San Francisco,(want to try all the coffee shops in the area to find a great one like back home). Coffee was pretty good, baked goods were great as well, and we saw that they have a cool looking salad bar, and definitely want to go back to check it out! But the thing that will make us come back here as often as possible is that I mistakenly left my wallet behind, and these amazing people drove my wallet to the building I live in, to make sure I got it back! This would NEVER happen in SF, so this coffee shop has got forever patrons in my family!

Wonderful coffee! I ordered a mocha latte and they have 6 types of chocolate ranging from milk to extremely dark that you can use to customize your mocha! I also bought a bag of the Sammamish Sunrise and was pleasantly surprised to find that it was roasted THAT DAY. It was one of the smoothest and creamiest profiles of any coffee Ive tried. Will definitely be returning.

The people are extremely nice. They have tons of option and I especially enjoyed their variety is teas. Prices are fair. The sitting area is dim and moody which promotes relaxation and the intimacy of conversation.

Every time Im near here I have to stop in! The coffees are amazing, great variety and wonderful service. Appreciate the dedication to lower waste with compostable cups and lids! My favorite is the island breeze -- salted caramel and coconut cold brew -- YUM!

I found the coffee to be better than and cheaper than Starbucks. Nice cozy ambiance. Both mine and my wifes lattes came with coffee art. We also got ourselves a slice of chocolate banana bread which was good too. Would go there again.

Everything about this coffee shop is perfect. Its kind of hidden just in the outside of the Healy polished tourist Street. This hip coffee shop is vegan friendly. All employees were talkative and sweet, engaging in conversations! It made me feel welcome and at home. The coffee was a soy chai latte, and it was so great. I will definitely be back when I visit the then again.

Friendly spot, great coffee and service. Didnt try any pastries or food but everything looked and smelled delicious, and their pastries were delivered fresh in the morning from a local bakery while I was enjoying my coffee. A local, fair trade business whose goal is zero waste, definitely admirable.

Im no expert in coffee but I tend to judge a place based on the Americano. Social Grounds has an awesome Americano. Chances are, the rest of the drinks are too!!!

This is where my Husband and I go on our Day dates. We love their Signature mochas‼️🎖😍 Their salads are fresh and incredibly scrumptious. 🥇The place is chic and cozy. 🔹 AND their Team is topnotch, very friendly — and because we’re here every week, they know us by name.

This is a great, family run, local coffee shop. They have great salads, delicious coffee, and even serve wine and beer. We came here with the kids to paint Bothell Rocks which were then hidden around the City for kids to find. FUN!

I really wanted to love this place. We used to attend Gold Creek, so all the more reason for us to love it, right? But... we’ve tried it 4 times now and had the same issues each time. First, we get the same crabby barista every time we go in. She acts like we are interrupting her. Next, they were out of cookies twice and they didn’t have anything else to substitute. Finally, the space is a bit hard to navigate, the way the chairs are set up. In addition, it’s a bit pricey for what you’re getting in size. My decaf americano was just okay, but not better than Starbucks. Overall, the customer service just isn’t where it needs to be : ( even though I really want it to be!

Im here almost daily to work for a couple of hours, grab an Almond Milk Latte and their Cobb Salad is good enough that Ive driven 40 minutes to snag one before. Served with love, compassion and happiness (without being annoying... yay!). Great work from location IF you dont need to be on calls (can be a bit loud if theres a lot of patrons). Love this place, and their staff!

Fabulous Mocha!!! If you want chocolate in your coffee they have a full menu of mochas!Mine was 60 per cent and rich to the last drop. Say goodbye to the H chocolate and syrup chocolate forever.

Came here for the first time today. It has a cute vibe inside, and I love that they use compostable materials for everything! I got the Turkey Havarti sandwich warmed up and its amazing! I also got an iced mocha and the coffee is wonderful, not bitter, and there was the perfect amount of mocha sauce in it. My only complaint is that they were a little slow for a Thursday late morning with almost nobody in the shop.

Such great attention to the beverage experience with carefully sourced coffee, creative and fresh teas, and great food. I love the local focus as well. This business works so well because they truly love to serve people well and it shows! I mean, they put up with me!

Relaxing and chill atmosphere with very friendly staff. They serve great coffee and in the afternoon they even have beer and wine available. Happy hour is 4-6pm daily. Also, most everything they serve their products in are compostable! Come and check it out.

Delicious, fresh, creative salads -- particularly the Holy Chipotle. Great coffee. Comfortable seating with a variety of choices - inside, outside, window bar stools, tables, armchairs. The vibe of the place is what I like the best - its what keeps me coming here even though its a little out of my way.

Love this place. Great coffee and some of their pastries are provided by hill crest bakery across the street. If youre looking for a cool place to spend a Saturday morning then look no further!
