Came here for the first time and I liked it. It was very calm environment, very relaxing. Doesn’t feel rushed or crazy like most coffee shops which is nice.I had a mocha and my husband a caramel macchiato. The flavors weren’t too strong, which it can be great or not too great depending on your personal taste.I’d definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a relaxed coffee shop to hang out.

Coffee is made to order and a strong flavor. The food options provide a tasty treat with the drink of your choice. The environment is a beautiful meeting place of mixed indoor/outdoor seating, and a garage door that opens between the two.

Been a fan of Cafe Ladro since my Fremont days in the early 2000s. That location was so hip, you better put your best hipster pose on.. and know your coffee. Barista was always friendly and efficient.Ended up in the Bothell area, errands run in Edmonds..so to this day I frequent both those locations. Edmonds has some issues with incompetence (like getting your drink wrong), and sometimes discourteous staff. Bothell location has way better service.They have the best coffee Ive tasted in the area along with Uptown Expresso. These days, I usually order the turmeric latte. And their pastries are the best for a coffee shop, as well.I bring family here from out of town for the divine Seattle coffee experience.And they have all the milks, vegan pastries.I overlook the occasional saucy/clueless employee.. and due to its top-notch coffee and pastries, give it a 5-star rating here.

I used to love this place but the service keeps getting worse. Especially on Saturday’s, the staff is always running around and sort of rude. Very unfortunate.

Good Drink. Unfortunately, Drive Thurs experience was suck. I pulled in a drive-thru. Took me 7-9 minutes to wait. So I gave up and left. Waste my time. It’s similar problem as Caffe Ladro Edmonds.

For Lactose/Dairy Free folks: they have 2 types of vegan pastry and all the milk substitutions for your coffee.I tried and enjoyed the vegan berry muffin this time. Quite tasty and sweet, but one of them is only the diameter of a 16oz cup, so as a breakfast it wasn’t the most filling. Do wish they had more pastries for us lactose-free folks!

I liked their soy latte and raspberry scone was delicious - not so sweet and greasy as most of them.

Caffe Ladro has a great coffee, tea and pastries and a really great study/work environment. Their coffee is flavorful and not too sweet and the baristas always have great recommendations if you’re looking to switch it up. My favorite non-coffee drink here used to be a half sweet, half spicy chai latte, but they recently stopped carrying the sweet chai. All of the tea and coffee drinks I’ve had from here have been great and the drive-through is convenient and quick. The pastries and scones are great, too, especially the bacon and Beecher’s scone !I like to come to Caffe Ladro to sit and get some homework done. The wifi works great and the atmosphere is very nice - small and large tables with plenty of outlets, good lighting, big windows and nice artwork. There are waves of busyness and it can get a bit loud inside, but the outdoor seating is plentiful and has great scenery. There is plenty of parking nearby. The rewards program is great as I can get a free drink pretty often. This is one of the places I miss the most when I go off to school!

I cannot say for anything else since I only have lattes, but I love their lattes. I love the big flavor of 12oz size lattes of theirs, and currently the hazelnut latte is my thing. I would recommend checking the number of shots though if you order bigger size drinks since it seems there is no difference on them. You might want to add shots for strong coffee flavor. They also have the store card that you can deposit your money and use for purchases, and later you get 2 free drinks for every 10 purchases.

Love Caffe Ladro. This one and the one in Issaquah. Great friendly servers and lots of parking. Enjoy the changing art installations too.

The food is great and the coffee seems like great quality. So the materials are there for an amazing shop, but it’s poorly executed. When busy the drink quality suffers, the food is microwaved until it melts, and everyone is standing around the shop waiting 10+ minutes because no one knows where the line is. It could use some redesign and management, until then it’s very hit or miss what you will get.Update: I’ve got to love this down to one star. After visiting a few times now I’ve been given the wrong drink on occasion. Which I don’t find out about until I get home , so I just have to throw it away. Definitely not the best coffee house in town.

Great coffee, and one of the nicest café staffs ever. Ironic, as most Ladro locations have snobby staff, but not this one. Genuinely sweet people making tasty coffee in a comfortable, inviting space.

I went today 5/15/21 with my mom we ordered and a vanilla iced coffee, coffee cake, and mocha breve. When we went to pay it was 6 dollars for the one mocha which was a small and the menu said it was 4.00 and they didnt give the rest of the order that was odd. So the lady proceeds to ask what else we had as if we didnt order already. She then charges us again for the ice coffee and the coffee cake which costed 10 dollars my iced coffee didnt even have flavor in it. It was an irritating experience we had ordered at the speaker and were never given a price. They rang us up again for items we had already thought we purchased. Overall unhappy and wont ever come again.

Came in for my first time ever for an iced americano and vegan baked good. They had two options and I got the blueberry muffin and oh my was it delicious. Fresh, soft, really really great muffin to pair with the americano. Might be the best vegan muffin Ive had at a cafe. Thank you for being open during the snow storm, thank you for having great options for someone with dairy - or other - allergies and thank you for serving up wonderful coffee! I will be back.

Cafe Ladro is one of the best chain coffee stops in Seattle

I’ve visited this location many times over the past 6 years time. Each time have had excellent quality coffee and service. During COVID measures being taken seating is very limited so if you’re expecting to sit down during your visit it’ll be outdoors and likely one of the few seats under the eaves for rainy days.

Their house roast beans is perfectly balanced, not burnt, not acidic. When I feel like getting a treat I get their specialty drink Medici. Its a mocha with orange flavor.

12oz mocha too costly; had no coffee nor mocha flavor. Big disppointment! Will not return.

I like cafe ladro espresso taste. Espresso is extracted very well. Not too heavy, not too light, just right on middle. Ladro bean is one of my list for my home espresso machine also.

I tried knocking, but no luck. This is real shame, as I was a daily customer of Ladro (both Seattle and Bothell) for years, but this kind of customer experience clearly means it came to an end.Original review below:I came into the store at 4:59, and the end of shift 5pm beeper went off while I was placing an order. Immediately I was told that Im too late and wont be served.I kind of could understand them not making coffee in such case (espresso equipment needs daily cleaning, they mightve started a bit early - poor customer experience, but understandable). But they also refused to sell me coffee beans! Even for cash (so, credit card processing stops at 5 couldnt really explain it as well).Sad to say, but Im going to be looking for another coffee place, even though Ladro has pretty good coffee and is located perfectly for me.

Great coffee beverages. We got a black drip coffee and a mocha. They were both amazing. The design in the mocha was great. We drank k inside the shop, and it was good hanging out there. A tiny bit dirty, but rustic feel kind of worked.

Great place to have a late or coffee with some good pastries.Great atmosphere to relax or just get it to go. Comfortably located in downtown Bothell near most of the new high rises here. Pets seem to be welcomed outside and kids can get wired also with the internets. Great outside seating for all and even for a meeting.Come and visit one of the best situated coffee shops in Bothell. Youll be delighted with the service.

Cozy atmosphere, temperature good, lattes were always yummy. Theres a few cozy chairs. Noise level usually lower than Starbucks. Price comparable to Starbucks or any other coffee shops around. I havent tried their baked items yet. Parking slightly limited but Ive never had issues with parking along the road.

Staff are friendly and helpful, although it can take a bit more time to get served if youre not going through the drive thru. Inside is open and airy with artwork exhibited from time to time. Deck is large when its open and has sun exposure on those nice days. Noise is substantially less than national chains as another reviewer astutely pointed out. Espresso beverages are crafted with care.

Cozy cozy comfortable coffee shop, naturally excellent coffee and snacks. We also go here to get espresso beans to grind at home, several types every time for us to try.Nice places inside with tables and chairs or large, comfy chairs... We usually up for the patio area which has several seating areas. Im on a knee scooter after foot surgery and it was easy to park and get around. Although very small parking lot as there in a corner so expected.

This is one of my favorite coffee shops in Bothell. Its always pretty busy. Their coffee is delicious. They also have quite a few food options. Their customer service is always great. It is a really cute restaurant, but very busy so you cant always get a seat. I would recommend a mocha and an almond croissant.

The atmosphere and seating was excellent. Had a ginger green tea which was great. Only comment is that the ordering flow is very confusing and out of sync with how any other coffee shop does it. Everyone was confused. You order at the machine and then pay. Need clearer signage or something.

The blended coffees (my favorite way to get caffeine) are delicious. Not overly sweet, and you can still taste the coffee under the flavoring.My one gripe is the price, I think I payed $6.00 or $6.50 for the jumbo 20 oz drink, which is high relative to the nearby competition. But still delicious.

I LOVE that they offer matcha without sugar already added. I know this isnt always up to the people working there, but I greatly appreciate that sugar isnt automatically added. Also, a couple of the other beverages I tried were all tasty too. I highly recommend the mixed chai. Very quaint place.

I loved that there are three versions of the chai tea latte, sweet, spicy and mixed. I got the mixed variety and it was perfect!

It was busy. Well known place. When I recieved my Triple shot dirty chai it was waterd down. My wifes white chocolate americano was frankly made weak. Busy is great but at what expense. Coffee should have flavor and it was not apparent here.

Me and my girlfriend were exploring today and this place was on my list to check out. I ordered turmeric latte (which I have never tried before or have seen it being offered anywhere around me) and my friend ordered a latte. I got my latte and guy must havent heard my friends order, when we asked him he made her a latte without charging us. AMAZING customer service!!! And both our drinks were delicious. Latte with 2 shots wasnt too strong or to watered down/milky. Will most definitely come back.

The service is great here and the food is delicious! This is the place for any novelist to type those stories they want to but just couldnt find the right quiet spot. It is also an awesome place to be with friends.

Always great coffee. The Medicci is their signature drink. Its like a mocha with some orange zest, and definitely not too sweet. We frequently buy coffee from various Seattle coffee shops and give them to friends and family from out of town. Hands down, Ladros Queen Anne blend is the favorite.

Educated baristas which served me a yummy Hemp Cortado and a delicious home baked raspberry scone. They roast their own coffee which they get from small farms around the world mainly sourcing from El Salvador and Ethiopia.

Cheerful staff who kept their cool even during July 4th craziness. You could tell that they worked as a team and really did their best to help serve their quality coffee to everyone who stopped in as quickly as they could, all with a smile. When it isnt crazy, this place is ideal to meet up with friends, decompress on your own, or to indulge yourself with their wide variety of sweets and savories.TLDR: This place sets a high bar for the other coffee stops in Bothell.

5 staff members twittling around and no one communicates properly. I ordered a mocha and pastry and no one tells me how long it will be. Where to wait for it? Will they bring it to my table? Is it for here or to go?No incentive to sign up for a membership card. Sounds like a chore for both me and cashier. Practically talked out of that.I finish my snack and see 1 garbage can and no where to bus my own dish. Walk to counter. No one makes eye contact, pretending to ignore me so I just sit the dirty things on a random counter in arms reach. No words said to me.You get the sense that the kids working there just collectively didn’t care.I leave a 3 Star because the coffee was good. The pastry was good.I can’t imagine what excuse could possibly be used when you have 5 staff members behind the counter & not any line, just me. About 4 came in after me. They all got their food. I still was clueless about my snack and I finally ask. I’d say about 5 minutes maybe more went by. I was not timing. I don’t mind waiting, you have to communicate.

Nice spot yet dont let the parking situation deter your visit. The comfortable seating and shared seating as well for those working remotely makes it worth while.

Great coffee spot in Bothell! I like most things on the menu but not a big fan of their quiche. If you order it be sure to ask for it to be extra hot. After having it re-heated twice it still was cold in the middle.

The location is a bit hard to get to if youre not familiar with the area, and there isnt much parking. As a bonus, there are plenty of comfy chairs!

I have dairy issues and every single time I come in the coffee shop. I ask for almond milk in my coffee. And the cashier always say we at are all out of almond milk. We have hemp milk or soy milk. I dont like any of those milks except almond milk. This happens to me the 3rd time every time when I come in. If this ever happens again. I will speak to the manager that they need to stalk up more of almond milk.

The young man at the counter needs to learn what steamed breve means. A milk-based espresso drink using steamed half and half. Not the statement the half and half is over there. Really stupid? I told you clearly what I wanted and paid to put my own non-steamed half/half into my drink. Will never return to this place. I would give this place no stars if it was possible.

Very good coffee with knowledgeable baristas. Love the inside of the shop and also the art they have. I love finding local roasters when I am traveling and will be back to Ladro whenever I am in the Bothell areas.

The staffs forgot my order of quiche. I reminded them after working at a table for about 20 minutes, and the filled my order quickly. I asked for a shake espresso, not realizing that it is alcoholic. I wish there is an explanation on the sign for a newbie like me. Other than that the staffs were polite and helpful; wifi works great, without time or speed limit like a chain store.

Caffe Ladro is a nice little cafe. The coffee was alright and the environment was welcoming. The staff seemed rather youthful and pretty preoccupied with everything going on. The customer journey is a little confusing with the layout and customers when busy will bump into one another. I had a cold brew with heavy cream, which is my go to drink in places like this. The coffee was strong and probably needed just a little more water, something Ive come to expect from smaller coffee shops that dont have the standardization of some of the larger chain. Per usual the food offering didnt allow me to expand my purchase to meet my dietary needs. I would recommend adding some options that promote health and wellness such as fruit, meat and cheese, or other non-carb based options. This location in particular has a beautiful setting. The staff are friendly and its a nice place for a conversation or informal meeting, with several inside or outside seating options.
