So disappointed. After I placed the order in the store, it takes half an hour for them to prepare my foods. Interestingly, there are 5 guys after me but they take the food after 5 or 10 minutes. I don’t know what’s happening here. And I ordered fried rice but what I got is not that, I have to take it as I don’t want another half an hour!

Have enjoyed eating at Rod Dee for many years and plan to continue to do so in the foreseeable future.This most recent visit was a bit out of character for the restaurant in that the Pas Thai was overly sweet to the point of having clumps of undissolved sugar showing in the dish. I have to assume this was a one off experience.Overall, the food is (usually) great and the atmosphere is very casual and relaxed. The kitchen is also very fast which is nice.

My friend and I biked to Rod Thai. This is probably the best Thai food I have ever gotten. The chicken was perfectly made and the Indonesian rice was perfectly cooked. The place was very covid friendly and had great outdoor seating. The Thai ice tea was easily the best part of the meal. Would 100% come here again.

The food tasted okay. However the larger issue was the quality of the food. I Ordered late at night so I understand that it might not be as fresh as food ordered during regular hours which is understandable. However, I found 2 hairs in my mouth while I was eating and that made me feel quite uneasy, especially during this current COVID-19 pandemic. In general, finding hairs in the food your eating can pose a risk to your personal health and safety, but even more so for the fact that we are currently in a pandemic. I know the hairs weren’t mine as I had started eating right as I opened the lid and I have also recently dyed my hair to a lighter color than the hairs I had found, so I know for certain these hairs were not mine. I normally don’t write reviews like this and I really want to support local businesses during these tough times. But, I felt a strong urge to write this honest review to inform others. I’d want other potential customers to be able to make the most informed decision when choosing where to eat.

Not too bad. I sometimes find it pricey, but the portions are good. Great service as well.

Ordered delivery, Pad Thai with crispy chicken was excellent. Prices are fair and Im hoping to stop by and sit down for a meal soon.

We order takeout here once a week - the service is extremely quick and each dish weve tried has been super consistent each time we order - and all dishes have been tasty!

The service is really disappointed. The pick up time was so long and exceeded the pick up time in my app. And their service act a little disrespectful. If the restaurant really want to run its business, please do things with hearts.

The food quality is really bad though covered by the heavy seasoning. My friend and I tried this restaurant last week and we both had got a run hours later... Not recommended at all.

Visiting Boston (from Delaware, but originally from Hawaii) and was beyond happy with what we ordered! Pad Thai, yellow pineapple curry (which I’ve had a hard time finding on the mainland!), and shrimp shumai. SO much flavor and everything was seasoned so perfectly! And the price was good too for the amount of food. Best Thai food I’ve had in months! Really wish it were this good in Delaware.

Best Thai food in Boston! Ive ordered from them dozens of times and have never once been disappointed. You cant go wrong with the classic pad Thai, but they have a big menu with really reasonable prices and lots of different options.

The BEST Thai food Ive ever had. Went from seeing the reviews...Well worth it. Im not Thai so I cant comment on authenticity but I do know that it didnt taste like your cookie cutter that restaurants and food was served on these real homely plates. Vegans and vegetarians dont forget to ask that your food be comes with it fish sauce...They are real accommodating to vegans like me.Their scallion pancakes.....👌🏿

I got the crispy pad thai and it was delicious. The noodles were crunchy and the flavor was fantastic. I got chicken and shrimp and it only came with two pieces of shrimp, so I dont recommend getting shrimp. My friend got tum yum and it looked and smelt amazing! Ordering was a bit slow but they also has a lot of online orders they needed to fill so it was understandable. Seating was pretty limited, granted it is a smaller place. It is a self serve place - they will bring your dish to you but you grab your own utensils and water. Overall was satisfied and Im looking forward to coming back and trying other dishes.

I have ordered here legit every Friday for the past month through Uber eats. On the app it allows you to instructions for the restaurant, I don’t think they actually read it! I’ve had a problem last week and when I called to inform them that they put eggs in my food when I instructed no eggs, the lady was very apologetic and accommodated me by insuring I’ll be given a second or when I ordered the next week. I placed my order this week and once again in the instruction I asked for no eggs and stated that I was to be given a second order because of the mess up last week. I didn’t have a chance to call to confirm bc I work in a hospital and it was not possible within the time they processed the order and the time the Uber driver came to pick up my order.I will not be ordering from this restaurant plainly Bc they give you a section to converse with the restaurant and they don’t even read the instructions on more than one occasion.

Ive been coming here since it was Rod Dee 2. Still one of the best Thai restaurants Ive eaten at! A large selection of food, and the food is delicious and reasonably priced. A must-visit if youre in Boston!

I love their pad thai, tom yum soup, basil fried rice, spicy crispy chicken, pad paradise, and thai iced tea. Their service is quick, food is delicious/comforting, and its always a go-to dinner whenever I dont feel like cooking. Prior to COVID-19, I loved their outdoor seating area, and how they would always bring the food out to you if you were eating there :) Ive been to other thai places in Boston and I honestly travel to go to Rod Thai because the other places just dont compare!

This is my doctor lunch place and occasional weekend lunch place with file. There is nothing here thats not yummy! Strongly recommend!!

Love this place Great food and great service. We travel twice a year to Boston and we hit this place at least 3x each visit.

I had a bad experience here where I called for takeout the girl took my order by phone so I drove to pick it up and they said nobody called, I doubled check with them and the phone number is 100% correct. They didn’t care much or try to fix this so I left.
