Website actually allows for items youve put into your shopping cart to be bought and sold before youve completed your purchase. Website doesnt check if users are bots. Overall, terrible online experience and platform for buying limited edition vinyls.

This store is nothing short of a blast. Any sort of music or pop culture fan will have an amazing time just shopping or paroosing. There arent many words to describe this store other than intriguing, fun, and full of character.

Very sharp modern offers multi-entertainment store...NO old comics, only newest month offerings so not so much a comic store. Lots of anime books, toys, stuff. Lots of records, cds et al. But its not really a comicbook store.

This comic store should be ashamed of the pricing of their products. Yes, the place is very well maintained and looks very nice but the product was simply overpriced by not doubleBut triple that of retail price. If you’re looking for a variety of comic books, TCG cards etc you’ve found the place! Also, the people there are really cool as well, but you’ll most certainly lose what’s inside that wallet before leaving with the prices they’ve got.

This is a really good store that has an amazing selection of vinyl actually. Came unexpected but if your looking check it out.

There are pieces of merchandise from just about any pop culture series you can think of, from DnD to Pusheen the Cat and even Berserk. The place was very well kept and neatly organized, and the people working there were immensely helpful. Over the course of my 5 weeks here in Boston I will definitely be coming here again!

Very helpful and friendly staff but the name is a bit of a misnomer. Almost no new comics and very few to no back issues. Only make the trip if you are not a serious collector.

I loved coming here. They have a variety of things from Funko pop toys, to manga, to a record room with tones of vinyls downstairs! The store layout is cool and the staff are friendly.

Definitely the best Newbury Comics store in MA. I bought Deafheavens Sunbather LP and Boards of Canadas Music Has the Right to Children there a while ago, each one was $30. If those fantastic prices for such highly sought after albums arent an indication for how great this place is, I dont know what is.

The store itself is fine, but for a place named Newbury Comics, actual comic books only represent about 20% of what they offer. It is much more of a pop culture store.

Newbury Conics is one of New Englands gems when it comes to pop culture. This one right in there middle of Back Bay is a collection of some of the best in fandom. Hundreds of collectibles, movies, music, comics and more. You could easily spend a few hours and blow hundreds of dollars here. Theres something for every fandom, from the latest and greatest to the more obscure.

Great selection of vinyl in the basement!

I am from out of town and this place is great. They have tons of music options, clothes, toys and modern comics. One of the best deals is similar bundles of comics over the past year. Every staff member is helpful and I had to try not to spend too much. I’ll be back if I am in Boston again!

One of the best places for new vinyl in the city. Large selection in the basement that maintains a fantastic balance of reissues of the classics and new pressings of fresh music. Collection changes frequently too, so its definitely worth a revisit if you initially didnt find what you were after.

Selection was limited for posters. Hand sanitizer was broken or empty.

Pretty nice selection for this deceptively large store. I get the impression that the store is stretching itself thin trying to cater to every fandom (funkopops, comics, manga, hp, game of thrones, various other TV series, tcg, board games, vinyls, fashion, etc...). Nothing wrong with that though. You can easily spend an hour just seeing every product they have to offer.

Always has a great selection. The store has three levels and is well organized. All the employees are super nice. Its a little pricey, but honestly not too bad

This place was pretty awesome. Matches the feel a comic book should have and adds a bunch more (including vinyl!!). Also has more Funko Pops than I thought existed. Stop here if you get the chance, its pretty sweet.

Great store for pop culture stuff. It used to be more focused on music but not so much anymore. The CDs and records are all in the basement now. The other 2 floors are filled with great funky trinkets and stuff.

The original Newbury Comics! Theres 3 floors worth of stuff to look at and I think they carry a little more of their stuff because of that. Worth a visit for the novelty of it alone.

Amazing comic book store. Im from San Diego, the land of Comic Con, but this store was impressive compared to the ones I go to in California. The $1 comics section had so many obscure titles that I was happy to give homes to. If Im ever back in Boston I will definitely be returning to this store.

Honestly, for a place named for their shakes, I was actually unimpressed with their chocolate shake. While it wasnt bad, Ive definitely had better at places like Five Guys and Johnny Rockets. Their french fries, on the other hand, were some of the best Ive had; would definitely recommend those.Prices were too high for the shake, and I wouldve payed more for the fries than what they were charging.Overall, good place, good atmosphere and nice place for a small/quick meal.

One of my favorite young/geek/music stores in Boston. It is full of tv shows stuff, music (including discos and t-shirts), nerd games and a lot of cult reference products.

Its a big store full of interesting fun stuff, gifts, records, videos, and oh yeah, some comics. It started life as a comic store and branched out so much that thats now just a small part of their selection. Its a fun store to visit.

This place has a lot of personality. A great selection of comic books, toys, CDs (!) and unique clothing and novelties. I love this place. They even sell local musicians music, so Id support them over any other large chain store any day!!!

My experience was nice but the Cashier didnt hand me my money back to me into my hand. If you want people to treat you with respect, you gotta show it first. Maybe one day hell grow up and learn

Tidy store and friendly employees. Lots of interesting toys although their prices arent the cheapest. Their clearance section sometimes has good deals. It seems like every Newbury Comics location has a nook devoted to Doctor Who if thats up your alley.

The setup of each one is very good and It is easy to find what you are looking for.Every staff member is really nice and seems to like their jobs. The merchandise is frequently changed so nothing is boring about the store.

More of a I love comics...I saw almost all The Avengers movies type of comic book store than a store for someone who reads comics. Fine for pop culture.

Really large selection of vinyl (nearly half the store). I was able to find a few unheard of hardcore LPs which was really surprising. Albums that are more well known will be priced up though. Any LP by Clutch was at least $25
