I love this shop. A small, quaint store with great staff, a well organized and curated selection of books, and a few gift-type like items, like enamel pins. Its a great store!However, they do put price stickers on the covers of their on-sale books, like those in the quarter bin. Its always frustrating to see this, as it devalues the book as soon as the sticker hits the page. And even if you get the sticker off, the color underneath has changed. Its a small thing that is easily avoidable and changing it could go a long way in customer satisfaction.

Would of gave them a higher rating because I loved the store and atmosphere. My only issue is that they didn’t offer any additional discounts to damaged books. I got two pretty damaged ones and asked for a a discount. I did get the 10% off for buying four books but i asked for an additional discount due to the fact two out of the four books had rips and stains on the covers and backs. After a bit I realized they didn’t give me the discount for the damaged books.Edit: I got in contact with them and they were extremely kind. They fixed the issue and honestly couldn’t be happier!

This is a great comic book store, knowledgeable staff. Very clean and orderly, not a lot of space but excellent selection of new material. Not a huge depth, I dont think they do any trade in Used. But perfect if you are looking for exposure to new material. I dont think they host any gaming either due to space.

Going in I expected a place with reasonably good variety based off of photos. I had decent expectations and they were still blown away! Banana Fish, Beastars, and Yu Yu Hakusho! Most of my favorites sitting right there! Absolutely no complaints from me. Clean place, amazing variety, and great staff. Easily one of if not the BEST place around for comics/manga.

The Comic book guys are friendly, extremely knowledgeable and patient. I truly appreciate them. Its not a huge shop but, they have a ton of things there. This spot will be my go to for comic books and graphic novels from now on!

This is the best manga store in the northeast. Sucks I live in the middle of New Hampshire though, but coming here is always a treat. Clearance section is worth viewing and you will find old and new titles her. Compact store, but it doesnt feel cluttered. Staff was also friendly and was willing to engage in discussion and recommend titles.

Really chill place. Staff was super warm and welcoming and their selection was amazing! There was so many things there I felt like I was transported back into High School when Id go to the Garage Mall in Harvard. They have everything from manga, to comics, to Yugioh/Pokemon/MtG products and even collectibles!

One of the long standing comic shops in Boston. Its always been a great place to visit. They are friendly there and you can browse away. They have more unusual items and definitely the largest manga collection in the metro area. Love this place.

This comic shop has the absolute best selection, I have been coming here for years, and if there is something you cant find, the awesome friendly staff will track it down! Not sure what to get? I walked in I was going to buy a book for my daughter while I waited for my Lyft and I asked if I could plug my phone to charge my battery was almost dead and they said no. I thought that was pretty dickish so i definitely put back what I was going to buy and walked out. A little kindness goes a long way.I had my own charger and there was an empty outlet but the big guy with beard tried to lie and say there werent any and I said theres one right there Nd he still said no. So me and my 4 year old left and I will not be back.

This is a fantastic shop if youre looking for a wide range of indie and major publishers and probably the best selection of manga in the northeast. Its not a great shop if you just want to sneak into their back room and charge your phone without even asking permission (to name one COMPLETELY RANDOM EXAMPLE), so try another store for that.

This is a very friendly place that is very good for anime and manga. I spent about 10 to 15 minutes looking at possible things to buy. Always support local businesses. Just be aware there is a $5 credit card minimum on purchases.

The store was having some organising issues, but it is still one of the best comics book stores in Boston. I have to recommend it to any manga fan, the mere quantity of different titles is second to none, on the other hand there are many major paperback issues that are not available from both marvel and dc, that could be considered classics.

It makes me really sad to write this review because Im sure for the most part this is a great location but my experience at Anime Boston was pretty upsetting. There was a kind of star shaped sign that advertised 7 of Junji Itos books for $110 and after some thought decided I wanted to take advantage. I took the books up to the female cashier where she told me my total 137 dollars. I informed her that there was a sign advertising the lower rate and she replied very flatly that it was wrong and then while i was deciding if I wanted to spend the extra money in front of the other 6 people behind me in line said pretty rudely So what do you want to do? I just ended up buying 4 of the 7 books for about a $100 even. This wouldnt bother me as much if I didnt end up finding ALL of those books online for far less money. This is how this business values a customer willing to spend more than $100 on manga at a time? At this point i would rather just return the books and buy them from someone else but lord knows you wouldnt honor that. Im sure you guys will do fine without me but you lost my future business for sure.

Manga heaven, comic book haven. Not much to say on collectibles since they just pepper the isles . But if you are here for manga, you wont stop smiling and looking! Probably the biggest manga selection in Boston. Not to mention how helpful the staff can be. Heck, they even sell Ramune over there. Comic book collection is decent as well, found some things that are out of print. However thats not usually why I visit. So, if you find yourself here ,go for the manga!!!
