Have been in the airplane and automotive business my whole life. Moved to Florida recently and left behind all my trusted in the Midwest. Have been looking for someone to trust who can talk the language in the Bonita area. Had a terrible experience at Naples Dodge Jeep as I have a Jeep and a Ram pickup. Rolled the dice with this company when my Jeep wouldnt start and was totally impressed with every aspect.

Honest, fair pricing, and knowledgeable! Have a old Mercedes that runs great because of these guys. Alex and Jose are the best! They fix the problem, arent pushy with new problems. They have never gouged because its a Mercedes. Ill always come back here and recommend anyone else with a foreign car to just try it out! Its such a relief to count on these guys. Thank you

Bonita Auto Center is absolutely phenomenal! A friend recommended us here and we have been using them since. Great work on my 79’ corvette. I highly recommend them and all of there mechanics, their the best for sure.

I contacted Jose Martinez about a Mercedes that they had just got in. I asked for some pictures of the interior and exterior(I am 800+ miles away, so I cant just drive over and look). He responded that he would get back with images and answers to my questions. I sent 2 follow-up emails while checking on flights and hotel stays. I refreshed the page today to see if the images were uploaded and the car was gone and I never got a response. Nobody cares about good customer service anymore!!

I went in there worried I was going to get taken advantage of since Im a girl and I know nothing about tires. But Jose helped me pick the right ones, showed me all the prices and was up front with me the whole time. We are new to the area and did not have an auto service provider identified. When a problem arose with our vehicle, I called and reached Jose, the owner, on the first ring.He suggested I stop in that afternoon for diagnosis. Since my errands were running ahead of schedule, I arrived 90 mins early on the off chance that the shop might be able to get me in. Jose was extremely polite, professional and friendly.He got me in, delivered the diagnosis, performed the need part replacement and had me back on the road in a couple of hours! Needless to say, I was ecstatic. The work was done to perfection at reasonable cost.You’ve earned a customer for life! Thank you!!

Got a new used BMW that gave me an engine light. I called them since they are close to my new home. I came on Monday and I was treated with professionalism and respect. Prices were reasonable and quality of work was fine. I left very satisfied of what I learned. Will for sure come back.

Amazing garage. I would recommend to anyone.. had a nail in my tire to be fixed. I called up around 1PM, they said come in 30 mins and it took about 15 minutes to get it done!. Very professional. Bring cash for TIP, they deserve it... I will go back.

Dropped my car off to them for a wheel bearing to be replaced. Was on lunch break so, I just hopped in car and proceeded with afternoon. Once I arrived to my office, I noticed my front bumper(right where wheel bearing was replaced) was cracked. I immediately called Jose, which was maybe an after I left and notified him. He told me to bring the car back which I did the following morning. When observed, they told me that it’s because I must have backed off a hill(which in Florida we have none). I told them repeatedly that the bumper wasn’t cracked prior to dropping car off. Jose continued to observe the area and said, well this part of the crack is fresh but this part isn’t? How in the hell is that possible? It’s one crack! Do not recommend!

I brought my 2014 Civic Si Into them for a complete inspection when I first bought the car used. To make sure the car was good to go under the hood. Extremely honest people and very fair. They told me everything was perfect and found nothing wrong when they could have lied and potentially racked up a list of things and made money. Took.in our 2013 Nissan Rogue with transmission issues. Joe found new transmission for same price as used. He installed it quickly and after we picked it up the a/c had issues. He was able to tighten things up that got loose recharge system at no charge. Id certainly recommend this company.

So its very simple, really! If you want no headaches, and you want your vehicle fixed right the first time, this is the place to come. I had a an electrical issue 5 other shops couldnt figure out. They had the tech that was going to work on my car come to the waiting area to talk to me. After that, he knew just what to do. Joe and the crew all treat you like family. Plus they couldnt be more fair with their pricing. We take all of our cars here!

I needed my mothers car which had been in storage for 11 month to be inspected before a long trip. Joe arranged to have the car picked-up and was very helpful in recommending what should be done and why. The car did great through its 1400 miles trip. I appreciate the excellent service I received.

Having a transmission replaced is not for the faint-of-heart but Chris and the team at Bonita Auto Repair Center took care of everything. Initial diagnosis, finding the best price/warranty and setting expectations as I drove away, these folks didnt miss a beat; they know what theyre doing. Truck runs like new and I know theyll be around to resolve any issues that come up. Couldnt be happier!

Made in appointment for after 3:00 to see about a car that I was planning on getting today. Just made that this morning too, and they sold that car just before we got there. And I quote ‘we sold it because first come frost server and people are always booking appointments and never show up’. I so upset about this, I live rather far from this place and there was traffic, so I just wasted my time going there for nothing!!! Don’t go there that can’t hold their words for anything!!!

They should rename them BONITA AUTO RIP OFF. Stay away from this auto repair. The mechanics there are very poor in knowledge. They told me they know how to repair the brakes on my truck and all they did was make them worse. Getting me to return more times telling me that spending a little more money would fix my problem. After $3700.00 on my brakes Joe told me to take it to the dealer. When I asked for a refund Joe told me to sue him. I did in small claims court.Bad mechanics, Bad owner. You cant get worse than that.

Update to original review below...July 30, 2018: Since the original review below, Joe (the owner) has worked with us to repair/rebuild the transmission. They have been very accommodating and kind. They (Joe & Jose) have both worked with us to find a solution so we could keep the F150 and it be a safe & reliable vehicle. JD.Do NOT buy a car from this business. You would think being attached to a mechanic & auto shop their cars would be well taken care of. Just the opposite. They know how to rig a vehicle long enough to test drive and get it home. We purchased a Ford F150, and in less than a week it started to unravel. Not just an oil leak... but an oil spray, everything needed replacing. Differential needed replacing, a coil needed to be replaced, all 8 spark plugs were bad, all the tires were dry rotted. (Jose did tell us the tires would need replacing as the tires did show wear and low tread, but he did not tell us they were dry rotted and unsafe) At this time we were already over $2000.00 in repairs for a vehicle weve had only 2 weeks. Last week the transmission blew and the truck is not drivable. Weve had this vehicle less than 6 weeks. It has been a money pit and is now unusable & not drivable. Their shady business has cost us a fortune. This truck was for work and we no longer have a working truck to work. They dont seem to care. There is no way on Gods green earth that these mechanics did not know the extent of the condition of this truck. Afterall, this is their profession... caring for automobiles. In all, we are out our trade in which we owned free and clear, plus the repairs, and now a non-working truck. Whatever you do, do NOT do business with Bonita Auto Center to buy a vehicle. Chances are good that you will end up like this. Please note, this review is not a reflection of the mechanic as we have not done business with the mechanic as a consumer bringing in a car for service. Our business is with them selling cars. Unsafe cars. Buyer Beware. Go elsewhere for a vehicle.
