Due to my car having been destroyed on Interstate 88, I had to unfortunately terminate my car rental parking spot located at Global Self Storage. However, it was 2 Aug and rental payment for the parking spot was already automatically paid for the month of August. The companys policy does not pro-rate early termination. Luckily, Roman was very gracious and diligent in working with the main office to reimburse my August rent pay. Im very thankful and appreciative for Romans diligence and professionalism.

Roman has been terrific for the last three years.He keeps the place always clean and safe.I would trust my stuff at this location.

I rented a storage unit from Global and Im extremely happy with the service and price. The unit is clean, well kept and nicely lit at night. There are plenty of carts at each entrance to help with moving your stuff (and the wheels work and they maneuver easily!). We been with them for over a year now. If we ever need help from management they are always very accommodating and easy to reach. Facility is clean and secure.

The manager (Roman?) was very helpful. He gave us a tour of the units and helped us select one that best meet our needs. The unit we picked was clean and near the door to the street, so move in was quick and easy.

I visited many storage places in the Bolingbrook/Naperville/Plainfield/Romeoville area. Once I saw Global, I decided to look no further. They are far and above the rest. I have an indoor space and the temperature is always well-regulated. Have had this space for over a year and I have no complaints. Went and signed up for a storage container at Global recently. The process was incredibly quick and easy, and I was even escorted to my container the first time so I would know where it was. The facilities are clean and well lit, as well as all one story (So none of those scary self-storage elevators they tend to have). Seems to be a wide range of size and storage options! Definitely recommended.

Our need for storage came up suddenly because we decided to move a parent in with us for a health situation. This meant vacate her apartment and make room for some her furnishings, store the rest and store some of our stuff. I had no experience in renting storage space. I went on line, looked at a dozens of possibilities from the online lists, read many reviews, did a spreadsheet for comparisons and created a short list to visit on a Friday. I was pleasantly surprised at the welcome and professionalism of the first four I visited. I won’t review them because I did not rent there. All of them had the “online price and deal” that was better than the “walk-in price” so that I was going to complete my list and make the reservation online. Then I visited Global. I did not have an “online price” on the spreadsheet but the price was competitive with the other “online” prices without the need to go online to sign up. Global also offered, “climate controlled” for only $5 more that was still less than some others on my short list. He gave us the tour of the units, gave us all the specials that were offered online, explained the use of the free move in truck and signed us up. It became a “no brainer” quickly. I now had immediate access to the best location of the units for us and I was done. I visited my space the next day and stored stuff when I thought I would have to wait until at least the following week to get started. Time is important because she needs extra care that we feel we need to control plus the care is costing a couple $1,000 on top of $3,000 rent. So far we are delighted with everything about Global.

My first storage unit and I am happy I found Global! Facility is very clean, the staff are friendly & knowledgeable, they have 24 hour access and a vending machine after hours for locks or to even pay your bill, plus its affordable.

Highly recommend! This was the third place I tried in Bolingbrook. Their rates were better, and the staff has been great. Also their climate control temperatures were lower than the last place I checked, which was more expensive, and the unit looked nicer. Very satisfied.

I stored my boat at this location for almost 8 years. Even though ownership and management changed a couple times I never had a bad experience. Roman is a pleasure to work with, responds very quickly to emails or phone messages, and on the 1 or 2 occasions when someone parked in my spot or blocked me in, he took care of it immediately. Only reason for leaving is I sold the boat. -- Highly recommend this storage facility and would definitely use again.

I dont know how old this place is but it looks brand new and the area is quite nice. The guys at the counter were extremely friendly and helpful. I dont expect from a storage place but this was a pleasant surprise.
