We have gotten breakfast from here a few times and it has been very good. The hungry man has a good amount of meat and the bread is fresh.Addendum 10/2First time I reviews I hadn’t tried the bagels. Now I have tried them and they are DELICIOUS. Especially the French toast bagel, so good. I ordered online and got delivery through their website which was super convenient. They came earlier than anticipated on a Sunday morning. Highly highly recommend.

This place is the best in the area for any breakfast food or lunch! I order from them almost everyday either a salad, sandwich, or breakfast sandwich and they never disappoint! The instore atmosphere is also great the wait is never long! Definitely they have my business for the long haul.

Meh... the staff was very nice although it was pure chaos. Kind of expensive for what it is and they didnt really give me bacon on my bacon and egg sandwich. But they are clean, convenient location, and the coffee tastes fresh.

I dont ever take time to write reviews at all but today i came in for a bacon egg and cheese and it was the best sandwich i ever had the eggs are as soft as jello and the sandwich is cooked perfect i couldnt ask for it better good food and good service will be coming back👍

Best Deli around the area

Love the food there. However horrible customer service or at least one of their employees is horrible. Never fails I get him everytime. No matter what I ask for I never get it. Bagel toasted dark it comes barely toasted. Extra cream cheese I get a little smear. Last time I order asked for my bagel almost burnt with extra cream cheese. Barely toasted once again with normal cheese. So disappointing 😞 asked for large cup of ice and got small coffee cup filled with ice. I have no problem paying for extras but if I ask and never get what I want i order i ts upsetting. I only go there once a week omw to office I go to in that area. Most likely last time I will go.there. tried 3 times each time was a fail.

Ill give em this much...Im not hungry anymore. So thats a positive. But aside from that, the chicken pesto panini was a joke; doughy, tasteless and forgettable. Just a pre-prepared little pocket that they quick-heat in the convection oven to 1,000 degrees. If there was pesto in it, I didnt taste it at all. Make no mistake, this place would make no money and have no business if they had any competition. Theyre one of only two options for food in this area of the airport. The other place is pretty weak also. So if youre flying Southwest or Frontier out of ISP, pick up something good on the way to the airport because they got nothing but overpriced food you wont enjoy.

Lisa is extremely rude and has absolutely no customer services skills. We order from here each week for delivery and today she called me saying I cant expect a driver to deliver to my door. (As they have almost every week for over a year) Then gave me instructions on how it would be done. Not how delivery works. And basically yelled at me the whole time, was condescending and rude. This lady has no business dealing with people which is a shame because even though this place is good, This is Long Island. There are Hundreds of other bagel places around and for much cheaper. Go to those.Update: luckily for her, the teenage delivery driver was competent and sweet and specifically said he remembered me from the last few times (even after Lisa had lied on the phone and said it was a new delivery driver and wouldn’t know the directions). Give this sweet kid a raise, he may have saved your business with me

The whole atmosphere is nice. It has something for everyone. The staff is patient with you while you look over their extensive menu. Its a great find and everythings fresh. They even were nice on new years day when they stayed open to accommodate the last of us late risers. They have everything not just bagels.

Me and my friend dropped in quick for a sandwich upon arrival, we were not greeted, but viciously starred at up and down. Avoiding the awkwardness of 5 employees starring and not saying anything, I said we are going to need a minute, they said nothing and continued to look at us up and down. After being pressured by 10 eyes on us we quickly made a decision on a dog food sandwich called “how you doing” While the counter girl was making our heroes, a young man popped over and asked me what are you looking at??? I asked “oh I’m not allowed to look?”He covered it up by saying I wanted to make sure she’s making it right. The young girl then got nervous and had a breakdown. We felt horrible and contemplated on leaving after Awkwardly waiting we were rung up and told everyone “take care have a good day” and they responded with more starring until we walked out. Never coming back I tried to give this place many shots, the customer service is consistently unprofessional.

This place has the BEST food in the area by far! Their Gluten free wraps are AMAZING and let me tell you.. I have never in my life tasted a BLT like theirs.. their bacon is AMAZING. So much so we have decided that Wednesdays are officially office BLT days.

They forgot to give us all of our order and messed up our order, we had to go back to the store to get the rest of our order that they screwed up, they had it sitting there and never put it in the bag

Every time I come to this place, they find a way to somehow, make a mistake with my order! But!! The staff are very friendly, the place is very clean, the food is very good, and a few mistakes is no reason to get annoyed. The management/owner is very considerate of their clients. And will make you more than happy, as they have done with me. And my whole office eats from here!!!

Let me just start off by saying that this place is truly fantastic, the food is great, friendly staff and a great owner who really cares about the quality of the food. That being said, the staff needs to understand how important it is to WRITE DOWN THE ORDER. Multiple times Ive ordered a simple toasted bagel, with veggie cream cheese, and they just dont write it down. I understand that it is a simple order, but I always find that it comes out wrong, as theyre not writing it down, and I assume they forget which Cream cheese i said, and for some reason will not shout to ask, they just put the wrong cream cheese on it and leave it up to me to figure it out when i get to the office. Its a small issue, but it has happened to me so many times that I avoid specific staff as I KNOW they will not write down my order. Again, I understand it is a simple order and the staff tells me this when I ask them to write it down, but here I am... If it was such a simple order why does it get messed up 50% of the time?

Not only During this pandemic but always you can count on the quality and deliciousness of the food at The Gourmet Bagel Company on Lakeland. It is delivered by very friendly employees of the company and the ordering on line is seem less. I highly recommend The Gourmet Bagel!!

LUNCH - Cool sandwich creations, but in my 3 attempts to enjoy one of them, there was always an ingredient or two missing. Also, their sandwiches are exceedingly small compared to the price you pay. Felt rushed by the staff.. Not worth it to try a 4th time. (I have not experienced breakfast).

Excellent menu overall. Great bagels, wraps, sandwiches, make your own salads, and catering. Plenty of healthy choices too. Staff is very nice. Yes, some errors on orders when busy, but theyve always fixed it quickly with no questions asked, and usually go over and above to make up for it. Definitely give it a try when youre in the area.

Extremely inconsistent. Especially if the older woman who does not pay attention to what you order takes your order. She has an attitude problem to boot. Seriously are 4 ingredients that had to get right. Also my last sandwich came on stale bread. Started out good but recently not so great. I like their bagels and have had fairly good experiences prior. My advice, if she answers the phone hang up and call back because apparently 4 ingredient sandwiches are just too hard.Went back today for breakfast. Cheese on my egg sandwich not melted and I had to ask to pay for my sandwich because it sat on the counter while the staff engaged in conversation.Will not be going back

Great food, VERY NICE staff

My favorite place to grab a sandwich or salad. All the items are freshly prepared and I have never been disssapointed. Try the Israeli salad it was really good. Along with the fresh salads and sandwiches the muffins and Danish are simply amazing. The floors are always clean and the place is spotless. I would recommend this place for catering as well. My colleague used them for the holidays and were truly impressed.

BEST. BAGELS. EVER. I got my favorite....a cinnamon raisin bagel toasted with butter and it was SCRUMPTIOUS!!!! Crispy, Sweet, and just the perfect amount of butter. YUM.The egg sandwich with extra crispy bacon was FANTASTIC as well!! And the guys who run this place are efficient, friendly and fast. There is hardly ever a wait. I cant wait to try there salads...they look so fresh!

Was looking for a local bagel spot for a quick breakfast before my flight out of Mcarthur airport. So glad I stopped here! Everyone was extremely friendly and the food was delicious. In fact, I ended up ordering a second breakfast sandwich for lunch on the plane. Too bad I cant get bagels this good in Tampa.

I do get the occasional mess up on my order, however, it doesnt really bother me too much because of how good the food is - and its usually something small anyways. its expected with a busy place like this.keep it up gourmet!! you guys rock! :)

This deli is truly incredible. I work nearby and Ive tried over a dozen of their menu items and none of them were disappointing. The combination of ingredients and flavors they use are truly inspired. The service is friendly and quick, the building is clean and the prices are more than fair considering how much food youre actually getting.

Ive been in there 5 times and each time was better than last. They have great selection of egg sandwiches, omelettes and wraps and all are very well made. Recently got breakfast catered and delivered to my house that was delicious and well presented. Staff is extremely nice and efficient.

Tried to place an order over the phone. The guy told me to send an email and gave me the email. An hour went buy and no response and no food. So I called the place and the original guy gave me the wrong email. So the lady I was talking to gave me the correct email. So I resent and email and it keeps bouncing back. The food here is great. I come here for breakfast and sometimes lunch. Friendly atmosphere. I do feel when it gets very busy its a bit over the place. I think its due to top many people working behind the counter. Then you have the customers that like to stand right in front of the register waiting on their order. Common sense would say walk away and wait from a distance.

The bagels and cream cheese are DELICIOUS!! I love the variety of cream cheese that they offer and they are all super tasty and fresh. I am also very picky when it comes to bagels, and this place knows how to make em! The staff is very friendly and the service is great. Even on busy mornings I am usually in and out very quickly. I have yet to order something other than a bagel but the rest of their menu sounds sooo good! Highly recommend giving this place a try!

The food is great. Ive tried a bunch of different sandwiches, wraps, and paninis from their menu and each time it wad awesome. I highly recommend visiting this place if youre in the area. They serve, breakfast and lunch. They also have a nice salad bar and a nice selection of sides and sweets.

My husband and I went there today, he got a make your own salad and I got thegbc platter. Food was fantastic. Weve been there 1 other time a few weeks ago for breakfast, also fantastic food. No complaints from us at all. But can we make a suggestion, can you stay open a bit later on Saturdays, so we can get dinner from you guys. WORST customer service. HALF descent egg sandwich. I came in here this morning. I purchased a bacon egg and cheese, upon payment the cashier asked if I wanted juice or coffee. I asked if it was possible to give me an UPCHARGE for iced coffee, the owner comes by and says “Na we don’t do that”. How much more unprofessional can you get? You just lost a daily customer and got a horrible review because you don’t know true hospitality. All I wanted was an ice coffee and was willing to pay extra and you turned me away. GREAT JOB

Met the manager, Billy, he’s pretty spicy. Went into much needed detail on how every bagel, muffin, sandwich’s, Cookies, salads, sodas, coffee, pancakes, rolls are each perfectly prepared all by himself. This is probably one of the most extraordinary bagel stores just because of him!

Its a shame because I really liked this place but I dont think I could ever step foot in there again after witnessing the cook in the back get very hands on with multiple sandwiches without wearing gloves and after wiping her hands on her pants. Poor management here and clearly no standards for cleanliness.Also just saw the owners response to another comment that they instruct everyone to wear gloves consistently. Clearly not because that review was a year ago and yet here we are.

I love bagels. I must admit, these are not the best bagels Ive ever had. Having said that, the customer service makes up for the minor difference. Service can be erratic but I would chaulk that to the staff being new- but when they make a mistake, they own up to it immediately. Once when they forgot bacon on my plate, they offered to deliver it to my office. When I declined, they gave me the exact, entire meal with drink for free on my next visit. I didnt expect as much and that to me is everything. I come here everyday and it is such a nice spot- very clean and very courteous service. I havent tried the lunch stuff yet but my coworkers have and they love the food as well.

These are the very best bagels around . They are always fresh and flavorful . I had the Tex Mex omelette full of the most delicious meats and veggies . The staff in this bagel store is also so nice and attentive . I will not buy bagels anywhere else again.

Bagel and sandwiches are good when they give you what you ordered. 85% of the time they screw up my order. No bacon on a bacon egg and cheese sandwich,. They put it on a roll instead of a bagel when they write down on an everything bagel and read it back, fried egg when you ask for scrambled etc.. Im talking 30 out of 35 times Ive been there.I keep going back because its convenient but not as often as I would if they didnt keep screwing up my order. I live close and want them to succeed. I hope they get there act together soon or they will not be successful, or at least not as successful as they could be.
