The media console I purchased is beautiful … as well as the decorative art she found for me that perfectly compliments the console. In short this company is the most disorganized and Untrustworthy company I have ever worked with. Internally no one has a clue what is going on and if it can go wrong it will. BUYER BEWARE, there are so many companies in Boca to work with that I would avoid them at all cost.Rick the CEO wouldnt Respond to my emails. Kathy the sales Associate lies about everything she discusses with you or just simply doesnt know what is going on. Casey is the distribution manager that never answers her phone even though her voicemail says she will call you back in 24 hours.I had 3 separate orders with them, none of which went smoothly, all took dozens of emails to work through them to get my items. They never communicate and just take your money and could careless when you get your items. If it didnt happen in 3 separate orders I wouldnt be so harsh but they dont deserve any further orders.

I recently shopped at several furniture stores in Boca Raton, and the furniture at Sklars is beautiful and well-made, so much better in comparison. Bianca, my sales person, was fabulous; friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely competent. She made shopping a pleasure.

Beautiful inventory, but very disappointing experience! After being told the price of an ottoman tray by an employee (and confirming it multiple times with regard to its size and price), I agreed to purchase the item. She pulled the item from the back in order for me to buy it while my mom continued shopping for a cocktail table. Upon transaction for the tray, I was then informed by the employee that she misquoted the amount and I would owe an additional $60. The store would not honor the purchase price that was quoted and confirmed 3 times prior to me committing to the purchase. So, now as a result of their inability to honor their verbal pricing on a small ticket item, they have lost a much larger sale on a cocktail table, as well as future purchases. Very disappointing experience.

Beautiful furniture? Yes indeed. But much too expensive for something one can buy at more than half the price. It is really a store for those who believe in a lifetime purchase and who can afford it. We want similar but will want to change furniture out in 7 to 10 years. For the average person, dont waste your time shopping here.

Beautiful store. Young lady that greeted us was very pleasant. We looked around without much pressure which we liked. Returned a number of times after spotting something we liked and remembered and asked for salesperson who had asked to assist us at a prior visit and purchased. Only negative was sales said a 10 percent discount could be extended to us only to come back later saying this particular manufacturer did not participate?

Drove by this store by chance. As soon as we walked in, I knew they had high end quality furniture. I found it hard to choose since they carry a great inventory and large showroom.I was greeted by Gail. She was patient, knowledgeable, & very professional. I immediately liked her. She spent hours with us and helped us purchase many items. I will definitely be back soon since I still need more furniture. It’s an exhausting time seeing and deciding on what you want and how much to spend but I was very happy so far.

My decorator works with Bianca at Sklars. She is wonderful. I have bought a number of pieces there for my new home. They not only have furniture but also a wide variety of accessories, artwork, and light fixtures. We have found a few items at other stores and Bianca gets them for us and matches the price.

All the items were very nice. Some chairs were more comfortable than others. Uber $$ and the staff seemed friendly and knowledgeable. Only gave it four stars because the price point was so high. But if you have the money and you want something unique, this might be a five star place for you.

If you are having a problem with something Sklars delivered, the customer service can be a problem. People forget to show up. Repair people must come and look first before they will try to fix something. That’s 2 more days that you have to sit home and wait for them. Very disappointed in them. We have spent a lot of money in that store. I doubt that we will return.

Have to admit we were hesitant to walk in your store again. Our previous visits had salespeople literally breathing down our necks as they followed us around the store. It was extremely uncomfortable and we had decided not to come back but friends had told us that their recent experience had not been as bad. So we ventured in and met Laura. It was a very pleasant surprise. We actually were treated as people not potential thieves. Saw something we liked and bought it. We have leaned to buy the extended warranty.

Bianca is a pleasure to work with!

Purchasing furniture from Sklar has been an ongoing nightmare. This experience started in September of 2019. Sklar promised three months delivery it took seven. I paid $900.00 for warranty insurance in addition to spending over $30,000.00 on furniture. A claim for a cushion was submitted in December of 2019. It has still not been replaced. I could go on and on about the lack of service and the poor treatment from this business. I sent a letter to the owners and they blew me off. If you care about your money do not buy from this store.

My wife and I purchased a home in South Florida, this past spring. The process of moving from the Northeast was daunting, to say the least. Attempting to furnish our new residence was an extreme, and nerve racking challenge... until we discovered Sklar Furnishings, and their wonderful Associate, Gail Bennett.Gail put us at ease, with her gentle manor...Never “pushy,” always honest, and extremely informed, we knew we were in good hands. I was interested in buying some outdoor furniture, and Design Consultant Bianca was extremely helpful. She answered my questions and followed up promptly. I decided not to buy it, and she was still nice!

After reading many positive reviews, I decided to work with Sklar Furnishings in Boca Raton to furnish my new home in Delray Beach.This turned out to be a BIG mistake. After Sklar delivered an il loft Mercury Sofa it became obvious that the fit, finish and quality of the Sofa was inferior to the floor model in the showroom. I went back to confirm that indeed the Mercury sofa on the showroom floor was superior to the one that was delivered. My salesperson Marina was dismissive of my concerns and unwilling to inspect my sofa. Only after I put the cushions in the car and drove them over to the showroom did Marina begrudgingly agree to contact the manufacturer, il loft, regarding the matter. After not hearing form Marina for a few weeks, I emailed her. Marina responded, the production of the mercury is always the same. This is the answer I received from the manufacturer effectively a dismissal of my concern without even an offer to inspect the sofa.I was subsequently provided a copy of Marinas email exchange with il loft. This is what Marina wrote:Hello, My client received this ML32 mercury sectional and they are claiming that their cushions are not as stuffed as the one I have on the floor. Please let us know if anything was changed in production? Are you using different stuffing for the cushions? I am sorry in advance for these questions, I am just trying to appease this client.The full email exchange is included as a picture to this review.Needless to say I was horrified by this email. It is clear to me that Sklar had no sincere interest in investigating the matter.After much back and forth including a visit from Frank, the store manager, Sklar graciously switched our under stuffed, low density skinny inserts for the 3+ year old ones from the floor model.The result, I paid $10+K, for a sofa with old worn cushions that looks like it was purchased from Goodwill. Very disappointing, far from the sofa I expected. To add insult to injury, several interior designers that have been to my home commented on the poor fit and finish of the sofa. When I told them that I recently purchased it from Sklar, they were shocked.In my opinion, If you are looking for a retailer that sells quality goods, takes their customers concerns seriously and works with manufacturers to resolve issues, NEVER SHOP AT SKLAR!!!

After an exceedingly disagreeable experience more than a year ago, which led me to not consummate a $30,000 sale, I decided to return and give Sklar another chance. They have beautiful offerings, and while pricey, it is high quality and some are unique in their design. For this visit, I had specific items in mind, so I wasn’t browsing. As soon as entering the showroom, I was asked if I had been in before, or if I was working with someone, and I indicated I was not working with anyone.After walking around a bit, I was welcomed by a smiling faced associate, Chelsey R. I explained what I was looking for - Philippe Starck bubble chairs and sofas - and indicated I knew they were not on the floor but could be ordered. I was also interested in drink tables, which are very small tables to place near a chair or sofa, so small that the surface can only accommodate one cup or glass. And thus, the name “drink Table”. Chelsey R. walked us around, showing us several versions of drink tables. And she willingly checked inventory on the two versions we were interest in, and provided pricing.Our experience working with her during this visit, and subsequent text follow-ups over a few days (she provided us with her cell number) was professional, easy, and accommodating. We ordered two drink tables which were in stock and in a few days they were available to pick up in store (we requested pickup rather than delivery).Based on our interactions with Chelsey, I’d recommend Sklar. Oh, the tables are in our home and are as attractive as I thought they would be.

My husband and I had the pleasure of working with the Sklar Sales Rep named Marina.Marina took the time to resolve a problem I had with an order that was initiated by another salesperson who retired. She was patient and understanding of the problem, and reached out to all the contacts necessary in the US and in Italy to orchestrate various changes and additional items to my satisfaction. She offered great ideas, and even FaceTimed with me to show me various choices for comparisons to what she knew I needed. I am looking forward to receiving them once they are shipped. I dont know what we would have done without her. I look forward to working with Marina again next time we go back to Sklar, which happens to be our very favorite store/design center for our home.

Toney was very professional and pleasant to work with. Even though wed come up with nothing we liked after searching numerous websites and stores, Toney found us the perfect barstools, dining chairs, lounge chairs with ottoman and stunning lamp table in under an hour (including help with finishes and coverings). As soon as we described what we were looking for, he was able to take us straight to beautiful choices, without giving us the hard sell along the way. The store has a great stock of great furniture, and Toney provided us with outstanding service.

After checking out several stores in the area, we selected Sklar for furnishing our new home for two main reasons. While the selection of contemporary furniture at Sklar is outstanding both in quality and price point, it was our Sklar designer Lauren D’Addario that brought us back. We met Lauren during our initial scouting visit, and we were immediately impressed by her manner and professionalism. After ascertaining our needs, Lauren pointed us in several directions - all of which contained furniture we liked. She followed-up with us throughout our initial visit offering her opinion and guidance without being pushy.Several days later, Lauren followed up with an email to us, and it was Lauren we called when we were ready to purchase. Throughout the selection process, Lauren worked within our budget recommending pieces that met our needs.Working with Lauren was a top notch experience!!

We bought a recliner for my husband and he loves it -- its from American Leather, and its so comfy. But we bought the wrong size. Carolyn Gross -- and the whole team at Sklar -- could not have been kinder. They let us order the larger version for a reasonable restocking fee, and made me feel as though we have friends in the showroom. Great store, great selection, inspired decor and most of all, kind staff who make you feel less like a customer and more like a friend. Could not recommend them more.

I am very impressed with Sklar Furnishings! I found an item within their Clearance section and called the store. I was then provided a window of time to go to their warehouse to view it. When I got to the warehouse, the staff were expecting me, the item had been unwrapped and placed in a clear area so I could inspect it. I purchased the item late in the afternoon on Thursday and it was delivered the following Monday. Everything was clear, straight-forward and hassle-free. I couldnt have asked for a better experience!

We worked with Gail (GB) & Jack. They were very attentive and knowledgeable. The showroom had lots of options to pick from and there were many more options in catalogs they showed us. They guided us and helped us pick beautiful pieces that work great together (custom finishes and fabrics) and give our condo a comfortable & tasteful feel. The furniture was delivered by pleasant and professional staff and Gail was there to supervise delivery. Our place wasnt quite ready so they stored it all in one of the rooms and sent a team back a few days later to assemble and put everything into place. Gail & Jack helped us with the finishing touches, window treatments and artwork to pull it all together. Overall a very positive experience & we love our new home!

Although we began with a salesperson who gave us the wrong information about a rug, she was let go the following day and Bianca took over the sale, corrected the errors and followed through excellently with the balance of the sale and delivery transactions. She was very communicative all the way through (even when she was on vacation!) and everything went smoothly. The delivery guys were very efficient and polite and we are very happy with our rug and the service we received.

I initially came into Sklar recently to look for some stools. I was followed around, but with enough distance, by Lauren DAddario. She was great with the stools so we decided to work with her as we redesign our outdoor space. I am most impressed with her ability to be helpful without telling us what we have to do. She has great design ideas, sensitive to our taste and is so pleasant to work with. While I know that she only works on weekends, she is attentive to emails that I send to her even when she is not physically present at Sklar. She reminds me of a young woman (she moved away) I worked with at Sklar many years ago who also had a great eye for color and design. I am so happy that Lauren followed me around when I came in to look for stools. Always happy to talk by phone with anybody who would like to use Lauren for her professional skills.

I hate the shopping experience here. Sales people are pushed on you by the front greeter. Even when you say you don’t want an associate, one still follows you around like a circling vulture. If I have a question, I’ll find you.

Good evening, on 8/30/18 we ordered a JESSE Day entertainment center unit 2358. At that time we were told it would 8-12 weeks for delivery. We did check in on delivery times numerous. Each time told it was coming soon. First week of December went in and was told any time now! Went in on 12/19/19 and told again soon. As we pressed for more information we were told no info would be available till after the holidays putting us at 17 weeks? Then on 1/6/20 we were told that the unit was never ordered correctly and it might be in mid March. Bianca said there might be some compensation might be available and we felt this was too little too late. It appears that no one ever checked on our order till January 17 weeks after the order placed? I did request a deposit refund that was provided since at this point I had no confidence in the Sklar team! When we met with the manager we felt he was happy to see us go! I thought we were working with a first class organization and we sure were wrong Too bad! Thanks, Ray & Joy Saelens

In addition to what is on the showroom floor, the knowledgeable designer / sales people have access to many other pieces from many manufacturers. My salesperson, GB, spent a considerable of time with me to help make sure everything I wanted looked good together, fit well in the space, and blended well with other pieces in the same space. In addition to the furniture, there is a large selection of accessories which help to give a finished look. We shopped at Sklar for some specific pieces for our new home. Jack was our sales person and we enjoyed his knowledge and recommendations when necessary. The selections were great, especially because they were so unique and different from what you see at all of the other area furniture and boutique stores.The lead time for our furniture was a little long due to the transit times coming from Italy but it coincided with our move in dates so not a big deal.The showroom experience was very pleasant and professional. I chose to pick the items up when in the warehouse because I was transporting them myself to Jacksonvillle. The warehouse staff left a little to be desired. Apparently I was expected to load everything in the truck myself while the 2 lazy b@$tards sat around watching me. Once I reminded them I was by myself and spent a lot of money on this furniture they finally pitched in.Everything arrived in perfect condition and we couldn’t be happier. The quality and fabrics all exceeded our expectations. After making the 300 mile trip north and unloading everything we discovered they left a piece of our sofa off the truck. The warehouse staff wanted to deliver it to me on their next trip north but I wasn’t having it. I spoke to the store GM and he was very apologetic and understanding and made arrangements to have it special delivered the next day. Now that’s customer service!I recommend Sklar for your custom furniture needs and be sure to ask for Jack.

Excellent experiences shopping in this store. A world of difference from our experience trying to deal with a main competitor in the same town. The sales people here were very professional and knowledgeable. I enjoyed being treated like I mattered and my business would be important to them. The store is beautiful as are the furnishings which are also and well-crafted. The only criticism I have is that I felt some of prices were a little high and the the other is probably just a matter of personal opinion as they are known for being ultra modern, but I would like to see a little more variety in the style of items within the store. Regardless they get 5 stars plus for professionalism, friendless and customer service - and my wife and I will be returning again to make some purchases based on our positive experiences. Thank you to the team at Sklar for making us feel welcome, for your kindness and willingness to be flexible and go above and beyond for us.

Nasty employee! She was walking too close to us and after she passed right by us when my mother warned, she threw her arms wide open to her sides and yelled “WATCH IT” instead of apologizing. YOU should watch it woman in order to not make customers uncomfortable.

The reason is selection and service.It’s a one stop place, you may finish your whole house plus outdoors while working with a single person in the single store, yet your furniture pieces might come from Different parts of the world. Most importantly the service is simply outstanding. I loved working with Bianca, she was very attentive and understanding to my needs. Will be back for sure

We purchased various items of furniture from Sklar about 4 years ago including a wall unit. Recently, the wall unit began to separate from the wall & Sklar sent their repair people to fix it. They did an excellent job.

The selections themselves are unique and inspiring. They make it so hard to make a decision because there are so many great things to choose from. The sales staff is always helpful and never pushy. It is just a great shopping experience when visiting this store.

I furnished my whole house at Sklar. Sara was fabulous. She helped me pick out the most beautiful things for my new home. She spent a lot of time with me and was very patient. Gail Bennett has done an excellent job of making my house look like we are in the year of 2018 instead of the late 90’s. She has a remarkable eye of seeing where a new piece of furniture, a rug or even a piece of artwork can completely change the room. I very much enjoy working with her because she always likes to hear my opinion on anything we purchase. I give her a five star rating. She would be the only person at Sklar I would wok with.
