Never again... this place with no other customers in the building took 2 hours to do an AC refrigerant top off/recharge which Lasted exactly 8 days. The AC worked just fine before my visit. Only decided to get a recharge when I came across his advertising for a recharge which made me think, cant hurt, why not, never had one before and my air was cold but seemed to lack that crispy cold. Again 8 days later the air now only blows at 79 deg at the vent. Called the mechanic who did Not offer to fix whatever he did however, said I can bring the car back up for an estimate to repair the AC system?? Estimate?? What?? I even had to ask if he was serious. I told him there was nothing wrong before you worked on it... Im pretty sure there are laws to protect against this, after all it was only 8 days later. My advice, skip this place and find a reputable service shop that stands behind their work. This shady place does not. Complaints with local and state authorities will be filed.

I had some damage under my car and just went to get an estimate to see how much it would be to fix. They were so nice and understanding of my situation that they took care of my car for free. I am so thankful and highly recommend this place for anyone in need or on a budget. Wonderful service. 10/10 will definitely be coming back.

Car performance went well for 1 month after tune up services. A month later engine light and battery was completely dead. Was told that it was normal that engine light indicator was on because of electrical issues with vehicle. Which I never had in the past until getting serviced there. I wish I was told about my battery prior so that couldve save me the hassle being that i was told they ran a full diagnostics. In actuality, 3 stars. Have a 4 because of their mannerism.

Groupon for Brakes and A/C. I called three times, left messages for my A/C. Three days went by, no return call from any of my messages. Went there in person after traveling almost 100 with no A/C. Only saw one mechanic, replacing a head gasket. They would not take me as a walk in, I had to make an appointment. Why not? He told me theres other appointments. Funny, I was the only person there. I asked him again, you wont take me today, he said No! So youre going to make me drive back home another 100 miles with no A/C, he said, Yes! I was scared looking at the surroundings coming into the lot. That made me so relieved that they will not touch my car and I had Groupon refund my money. Worst ever experience Ive ever had and the lack of concern of my welfare to travel all this way and sent me home on a hot day with my air conditioner not working. HeartlessUpdate to their reply:At no time did the owner state that they were closing. Doesnt take an hour to recharge the air contioning. How can you make an appointment when I called and both time leaving a voice mail. You never returned my call to give me an appointment you require. Worst part was the Employee had no sympathy about sending me back on the road for 100 miles with no a/c. These same business control their feedback, so its hard to do your homework. Look at the location and this will help in your decision making. Look at the coupon theyre charging you. If its too good to be true, its most likely to lure you in and then the add ons are coming. It was obvious with me, no compassion, only the big dollar. Beware!

Just left the establishment for a brake pad replacement. As I waited for them to inspect my car, they came back to advise I have metallic brake pads and they only use ceramic, which is partly what the Groupon mentions, (the Groupon mentions organic). But what the Groupon fails to mention is that to replace the metallic with ceramic for some reason its $45 extra per axle. Why? I came in fully expecting to pay the extra $3.97 disposal fee and $3 shop supply fee, but ended up paying an extra $115 on top of the $115 Groupon. Not to mention they said the extra fees so non-chalantly. As if people dont have to take off work, drive far for what they think is a good deal and spend gas money getting to and back from the establishment. Therefore, more people are likely to just stay and pay the extra fees because of the inconvenience. When I drove my car off the lot I no longer had any brake sensitivity. Had to push on the brake hard for it to brake. I went back in and Max was nice enough to drive the car around for a bit but it still doesnt feel anywhere near as sensitive as when I came in. Worst money Ive ever spent.

New to S Florida, this shop was recommended, very impressed with the service. Took vehicle in to have brakes checked, was told brakes were OK, had a rough rotor from sitting over the summer but not a safety issue, shop did not charge for checking the brakes. Very honest shop, would highly recommend.

This is one of the few places where they don’t upsell anything you don’t need done. I love their transparency when telling you what’s wrong with your vehicle. This is the only local place I trust as I have a Smartcar and not many places know how to deal with my car. Staff is very courteous and honest. Their receptionist is very professional. Overall this is a great local place that won’t rip you off!

I was told my service would be $275 total, and I would be paying $200 since I purchased a Groupon. When I arrived, I was forced to pay $295, plus the Groupon cost of $75. This is outrageous for two new rotors and brake pads.I do not suggest going to beach auto to get any service done as long as this lady is working.I have had two experiences with her now, and the last experience she booked me for the wrong time, so I was unable to even get my service done.Carlos, please reevaluate your staff.

Overall their price was excellent. I will still. I will have to pay a little more because I have a hybrid. A little more it turned out to be about $50. I did not mind because the price was still good. However, you should clarify any fees before getting there

He never tells me my car needs something that it doesnt. I dont even live in Boca Raton, but I travel there to ensure that I get great service at great prices, and I do every time! Not to be dramatic, but I definitely feel like Carlos might have saved my life. He took it upon himself after some routine brake pad repair to check out a sound my car was making. I had been incorrectly informed a while back about what it was, and he was very accurate about the actual diagnosis. My drivers side wheel was extremely close to popping off my car, and he prevented what could have been a horrible situation just by taking the extra time to look a little closer. I turned around from another appointment because something told me I probably wouldnt have made it there intact. The wheel bearing literally came out in pieces when they began to replace it!! Im glad he trusted his intuition and I listened to mine. Carlos was also willing to show me different parts and explain their process (im curious, lol). A giant thank you to everyone here! Very friendly, owner operated auto repair shop Honest, reasonably priced repairs, far less expensive than Dealer or chains like Tire Kingdom. I have had these jobs done there: Brakes, tires, belts, hoses, etc. and I highly recommend it. (Dave D., owner of a Hyundai Genesis and a Toyota Camry).

These people are thieves I went in with a Groupon and the pads they were giving last only 2 months but again that’s fine cause you get your money’s worth but just to see because I needed brakes or so I thought I did I as them to check it and they tell me that I have to pay 40 extra for decent pads and that mine were at 20% so it was urgent I spoke to my brother he said that’s sounds pricey I’ll check that I found the time and turns out my pads were as good as new they told me 20% to try to get 180 out of me!!! Don’t go to them they are not honest I don’t care what they say the people that have gotten service probably got ripped off and they run a good game don’t do them here!

Carlos is not honest. He quoted me one price on the phone and when I got there he gave me a way higher price. He said it was a misunderstanding but I literally asked him for the quote about 5 times and he kept telling me the same price. When I got there he acted like he didn’t care and got on the computer AND took a call while I was talking to him. Very rude and unprofessional. I don’t recommend this place.

This is the only place Ive come to whenever I get my oil change done ever since I moved down from Raleigh NC. The service is top notch they always greet you as soon as you walk in the door they always honor the Groupon no matter what. I wish the Groupon included a tire rotation so I wouldnt have to go elsewhere to do it at Costco because its more affordable to do it there either way this is a great place to get your car serviced.

Went for an oil change due to a groupon. Guys who run the place are young and courteous. Informed me my rear brakes need to be replaced soon. I requested a quote for the work...and it was $ 40. Less than I paid for a solar service last year. Definitely worth a try.Younger hungry for the business guys.

VERY fair prices and excellent service. I took my 1987 CRX Si to them to have the fuel tank and system serviced. They took care of the fuel flow issue, a broken radiator fan motor, and an oil leak as well. My little project is far from finished, but this is the place I will be taking it when it needs to be worked on.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! They quoted me a price of 190.00 over the phone, I repeated it three times to confirm and was told yes 190. 115 for front roters and additional 75 for front brakes with their groupon offer. I bring my car today like scheduled and get told by Carlos that the price is 260. meanwhile I had my car at a shop yesterday that quoted me 250 for the work. I took my car out of there and brought here to save 60.00 and refused to honor the price he quoted me over the phone. As a mechanic if you have no integrity and can not keep your word then you are Crook. Shops like this give mechanics a bad name!!!!Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else.A year ago:Found a groupon for brake replacement. Made an apt. And was in and out within an hour. Clean waiting area with t.v. and coffee, friendly knowledgeable mechanics and great quality service. Definitely will go back when maintenance is needed. If you look on groupon you should be able to find the brake deal I found.

My car went on the fritz while driving to Boca Raton yesterday, my onboard car diagnostics said it was a failure in cylinder #5. I found Beach Auto service tune up deal close by on Groupon. I’m so glad I did. Not only did they identify the issue correctly and quickly, doing detailed tune up, synthetic oil change, and changing defective coil for an amazing price, the staff is very friendly and professional, the shop is clean, and they did the work quickly. I would highly recommend using their services. Give them a call before buying groupons etc...they are very generous with their deals!Almost funny: I had paid over $30 a short time ago to have a cabin air filter changed at JiffyLube, after an oil change.... guess what jiffylube FORGOT to put back in.....cabin air filter! I’ll be back to Beach Auto Service.
