Its an old door/opener and I appreciate that they didnt try to up-sell me. Then they went above and beyond and cleaned/oiled the chaines and openers. We had a spring break and they came out and fixed it. We had a slight issue where they had to come back but the service was great. We even had a garage door opener put in to replace one that was older. It wasn’t planned but Rodney had it in quickly and went above and beyond.

Kevin was the best salesperson Ive worked with--for any product or service, period, for years--and Rodney did a fantastic job with installation, setting our doors, keypad, and remotes up as we wanted. Rodney is clearly one of the best in the business--very skilled but also offers great customer service. Getting a quote and getting installation done went so well that I purposely put off writing a review for over a month just to make sure the good feelings would stick around--and they have. Our garage isnt standard size and previously had garage doors but no openers because they couldnt be installed given the space. Kevin and Rodney did a great job finally giving us the convenience of an automatic garage at a reasonable price, plus the look is so much better! We also love being able to operate our doors with an app and to be able to check whether theyre open or closed anytime from anywhere. I would highly recommend DH Pace because of the great work Kevin and Rodney did!

Rodney and Matt came the first time and were there right on time. They were very efficient and replaced the broken springs. They tested the door and it worked fine. They did a good job and we’re very easy to work with and polite. Unfortunately the next day the door Didn’t work properly and so the following next workday Ronnie showed up to troubleshoot and determine that the Optical switch had to be replaced. He also ran new wiring to put the Optical guides in the correct place. Overall very pleased with DH Pace and their service people.

Garage door spring broke...called and got a same day appointment. Technician was efficient and friendly.

One of the torsion springs on our garage door broke, and needed to be replaced. Called several companies in the area, and DH Pace was not only competitive in pricing, but was able to get someone out soonest of all the companies. The tech was friendly and replaced both springs, inspected all parts of the opening mechanism, and even performed a small bit of maintenance on our other garage door. We are very happy with the service we received, and DH Pace will be our first call next time we need service.

Excellent service! They came the next day after I called and replaced the broken springs and serviced the garage door. The only negative was they were supposed to give me an estimate regarding replacing the weatherstripping on the garage door with one that protects against rodents from eating through. They were supposed to call me with an estimate . Never received that call yet! Otherwise great job!

I was at a loss as to why my garage door was opening 3-6 then stopping, lights werent working, springs were loud, cable was stretched & hanging...etc. assumed it was time for a new door, motor, springs... the whole sha-bang...BUT DH PACE came out, inspected it all, determined whoever replaced springs last time used wrong size, the contacts on lights were just dirty, and even though its 20 years old, he could fix a few things and I could get more time out of this old system. A tensioning spring broke and I didnt hesitate to call DH Pace to arrange for a repair. The next day (day of this review) I was fortunate to have Rodney Pichon return to make the repair. Mr. Pichon is always courteous and a consummate professional. He quickly made the necessary repair as well as some minor adjustments. The door is as good as new. DH Pace provides annual maintenance and adjustments to my residence and rental property and can always be counted on to do great work.

My experience with DH Pace Garage was excellent from my phone call to when he made the repairs. He was friendly, knowledgeable, fixed the initial problem very quickly and noticed I had a couple of rusted rollers and replaced them too. They were upfront on basic costs on the phone. I needed to have my spring replaced. The door was unable to open. My son had great luck using this company so on a Sunday I called to have someone come on Monday morning. Rodney Pichon did a spectacular job of installing our new garage doors. We couldnt be more with the looks, fit and operation. Our salesman Kevin Rider should be nominated for sainthood as he worked with us and our indecision for several months first with style, then color, then style and color, then materials. Well we did make a decision and as it turned out in was the original ...well almost the original door. The results made such a difference in the way our house looks. I hope there is a before and after shot somewhere on the DH Pace web site.

DH Pace got out to fix our issue within 24 hours, they fixed it quickly, had the materials on hand, and were easily able to answer any questions we had.

***UPDATE: not even 6 months later the safety sensors stopped working (to reverse the door’s motion if someone walked under the door, something important to me with small children) and they wouldn’t come fix it without charging labor because they can’t even determine if it’s warrantee’d without coming out. So...I’m apparently only treated as a valued customer (which is what warranted my initial comments) when a sale is involved. I’m now sorry for the referrals I sent to you.One of the best technicians we’ve dealt with...kind, very knowledgeable, patient, and speedy! Thank you!

The service required 3 calls and each and every time the technicians were not only technically competent but also timely, friendly and educational. Would use them again if the need arises.

Called to schedule a service call. Was told $157 for the first hour, then $32 per 15 min after. Tech came out, tightened the clutch, spayed some WD-40 like lubricant on the chain. This fixed my problem. Took less than an hour. Invoice said $354!!! (That included $25 for the spray.) Explanation: must have been a new person answer, our someone from the residential side.Unprofessional! I have 12 garage doors at this warehouse alone, and I wouldnt call them again for anything!!Supplemental:The one thing he actually did do to make the door work properly worked less than a week. Now the door doesnt work AT ALL! (At least before he came, it would go up if I helped it.)

Bloomington IL - Called dispaptch for 24hr emergency service 6:40pm on a Saturday. Repairs, broken pulley cables, completed w/in 2 hours of my initial call. Was charged exactly what I was quoted for labor. Very satisfied with overall customer experience.

Garage cables came off in February and repairman indicated his lack of knowledge regarding our specific type of garage door opener. Repeat issue in July with the Company charging me for both occurrences including $6 for garage lube (you can purchase the entire can for $3 and should be part of their service charge). No return call when this issue was brought to their attention and had to make repeat calls to try and gain resolution. Better Business Bureau will be my next option.
