Used to like but now with temporary hours can never get there before they close when I have to work. Went today 5min till 6pm and doors already locked and I just needed dog food. Now have to run out of town.

Employees dont wear masks properly...none of the customers wear masks. If you want to catch the Delta Variant this is the place for you. Wont be shopping here again.

Employees are great!! However, they need more cashiers. Dont see the point of having 3 registers and only one person checking customers out. Sometimes you stand in line for more than 10 minutes. This place would get 5 stars all day, but the wait is horrible. Cmon man!!

Went to meet a face book market place add for a tiffany lamp. I dont think its real tiffany,but the gentleman said it belonged to wifes grandmother!!!. I bought it, its pretty has grapes on shade.

They seemed to be only place that had inexpensive weekly-monthly planners. Good place for low cost kitty litter for cats & winter driving.

Great customer service and awesome remodeling inside the place!! Especially enjoyed the nice ladies behind the counter. Ive gone here a few times, but only because I absolutely have to. One time I bought some frozen coconut ice cream bars and had TERRIBLE food poisoning. DONT GET PERISHABLE FOODS HERE!!

Friendly and carries a lot of name brands I like. Need to have a better toy stock and more small size adult cloths and 7-8 in children is also hard to get. Could use more staff As sometimes their a little backed up. Watch for double scanning at check out.

Lastl Saturday june 15 i was in your store with about 15 other people waiting in line as the tornado siren began to go off. The cashier had told all of us we would need to go into the bathrooms if we heard a tornado was on the ground. She barely got the words out when the power went out and she said i cant have anyone in here with the power out and made everyone leave the building. It is unbelievable to me that your store policy is to throw your customers out in a tornado. Which is what your store did as just a few miles away a tornado hit our town and several other surrounding areas. You know there is a family dollar down the street i think i will be giving them my business from now on!!!!!!

Long line on checkout with only 1 register open, eventually 2nd opens 10 minutes later. Dirty floors, generally unkept. Good store just surprised this time.

Good place to pick up a few things and go, when your in a hurry. You dont have to fight crowds like at Walmart...

Dollar general in Ellettsville is so dirty and unorganized. The only reason I go there is convenance but still end up waiting in like for 10 mins no matter how many ppl are in the line in front of me. I wish some someone from the regional office would come see it and tell them to do a better job or give them the funds to higher more staff.

Large carts full of products are always in the isles, usually blocking the items. One or two workers actually care about the customers, while the others seem to do anything but help check people out.

Terrible customer service today. I work near this store in Ellettsville and I have shopped it many times for lack of other options. Merchandise is what you would expect; low price, low quality. I have never had an experience like this morning. I stopped in to grab something to wear quickly because I spilled my coffee on my outfit and needed to be at work in 5 minutes. There was a sign clearly posted in the womens apparel that stated $5 Gray Dot Womens Sleep Pants. I selected a pair of soft leggings hung under that sign with a grey dot. No brainer.Of course, when I went to check out the item, it rang up as $10. I asked the cashier if I could have it for the price marked, to which she argued that it wasnt considered sleep pants. I walked over to the sign and pointed out where I had grabbed it, and she said that I should read the sign better because it says sleep pants. The item is arguably sleepware, it has a GREY DOT hanging UNDER the damn sign. She argued that the items are not organized by type, and I should know the difference. I said that the tag has a grey dot and I should get the item for the price it advertises. She even went so far as to ask me if I intended to wear them to sleep, as if that has any bearing on the matter. I could intend to wear them on my damn head, and that shouldnt affect the price the item is being sold for. She was very rude and refused to honor the sign or the price as marked. I asked for a manager, and she claimed she was it, and because I was so short on time, I went ahead and purchased the cheap pants at $10! I work in customer service, and on a reasonable misunderstanding, the store and the manager has an obligation to either make their merchandising clear so there is no possible way to confuse the matter, or honor the price. I most certainly would say that the damage done to the store by refusing my reasonable request will likely result in no further purchases from me to that store, as well as a call to corporate to complain and blast on social media. I also intend to call the store to get her name.

This location has a self checkout thats not all that effective because you can only use it if you have the app 😑
