The shop has an outstanding selection of yarns. There was a group of knitters working on projects in the back of the shop and they were all incredibly friendly. The owner said hello and asked if I needed anything but left me on my own to peruse without feeling pressured to buy. I purchased to skeins which she wound for me. Overall it was an excellent trip.

Mary Lynn was so amazingly patient in helping me find my way to the shop each of the 3 times I called within a single hour. I can tell you that Mary Lynn loves her business as well as her customers who obviously adore her in return. I was fortunate to happen upon the shop on a trip from Wisconsin on the evening of the stores knit night and had an amazingly warm welcome. They knit, they eat, they share wine and good conversation. There also happen to be plenty of beautiful shop samples to whet your knitting appetite.

Great shop, great vibe, great people!! The owner, Marti, is extremely helpful and kind. She has a great knowledge of yarn, knitting, crochet, weaving, and more. The group of people that knit/crochet/weave/spin there have been so helpful with helping me learn and advance in skills over the years through classes or 1:1 help.

I love shopping local and The Yarn Garden has high quality products along with fun events for the knitting/crocheting hobby. The owner is always there to assist on a project. My favorite hang out ace on Tuesday nights.

I love this store. The owner is very friendly and knows her yarn. Although the shop is on the small side, she has an excellent selection of yarn from my favorite companies.
