The greatest! I don’t have a bike rack for my adult trike, so finding a service that would come to me was a life-saver! Turned out even better than I had expected, as Jeffrey gave me all kinds of information about biking I didn’t know (and I’ve been biking most of my life), and adjusted the trike to my proportions so it’s truly a joy to ride! They have a customer for life!

I had a repair that needed to be completed and my go to shop was booked out a few weeks. So I emailed to find out if Velofix had any openings and they were able to get me in the same week for the appointment! Im really happy with the service and turn time in a busy marketplace.

We had our six bikes serviced all at once. Our service tech, Jeffery, was personable, knowledgeable, and capable! In the process, he provided me a bike cleaning and maintenance workshop where I learned both what to do myself and what not to ever attempt on my own.

So happy to have Velofix available to work on our ebikes. One of our Rads experienced 3 flat tires during its first 2,600 miles. We had Velofix insall 2 new tires along with new tubes and liners. I opted for the Velofix assembly and fit service for my sons new bike. I received a confirmation email from Velofix that said I would be contacted when the bike was in transit from the manufacturer.I was not contacted when the bike was in transit.Manufacturer sent notice that it was received by Velofix 4 days after it was shipped. I was not contacted by Velofix when it was delivered.I emailed the national Velofix customer service the day after delivery notice to check on when I could schedule the delivery. I was told national office could not help and that the local office would reach out.Local office did not reach out within two days. I looked up the local contact info and sent a request to schedule. I was told via email by Jason that they built my sons bike the day after they received it and someone would schedule my delivery soon.Four days later I had not heard from anyone and emailed Jason directly. I was told he would contact me soon with some appointment options. Here we are two days later and still no call or email from Jason.I get that bikes shops are super busy in this pandemic and waiting is not the real issue here. The issue is that either the Velofix MN team doesnt know their business well enough to manage a schedule or is unwilling to provide an honest assessment of when they will deliver the service that I have already paid for.Really disappointed in the communication from Velofix MN, especially given the positive reviews by others.

I had a fantastic experience. My electronic shifting had been giving me problems off and on most of the summer and I finally decided to stop trying to fix it myself and trust a mechanic. While I usually go to bike shops, this was faster and easier to make an appointment. Brandt showed up exactly on time, sussed the problem out and while he was at it fixed my headset. Theres so much I love about the experience: not having to schlep my bike someplace and leaving it for a few days, the friendliness and the attention to detail plus the fact that it didnt really cost me any more than taking to a bike shop. I would highly recommend Velofix.

I was ambivalent about paying someone to assemble my new ebike, but Im so glad I did. The technician was excellent with the bike, and explained the bikes operation and functions thoroughly and patiently. As it happens, there was a defective part, and he also helped me with how to contact the manufacturer and deal with it. I recommend this service very highly.

Insanely efficient! Jeff showed up in the van and got my bike squared away in only an hour. My new-to-me bike was in better condition than I thought, so he only charged me for the basic tuneup and not the major tuneup that I scheduled. Honest, fast, great service. This is a great service! Instead of bringing your bike to the shop for a tuneup/repair and wait you can just have them come out and do it on the spot. Brant was very friendly and helpful answering any questions. We had 3 bikes tuned and they look and work so much better now. Brant was super helpful and showed me the trim setting that I never heard of. I would highly recommend their service and we will continue to use their service for all our bike maintenance in the future

Great experience. I do most of my own bike work but occasionally use my great LBS for more complicated things. I bought a new electric cargo bike that I just couldn’t get dialed in. Due to the size of the bike my LBS was less than a great option. So I tried Velofix. It was wonderful. Same fun LBS experience, great work and nice people except at my house.I will have them service the ebike from now on and likely others as well if I can’t handle it or my LBS is backed up.Thanks!

Cant say enough about how positive my experience was (and continues to be) working with Velofix. The short version: working almost exclusively with their mechanic, Jeffrey Burton, I quickly learned that Velofix is extremely knowledgeable, capable, responsive, punctual, and just downright happy to help out in any way they can. 10/10 would recommend.The full story: after getting a job in Stillwater, I started considering buying an ebike to enable me to commute from my home in Minneapolis a couple days a week but I originally knew next to nothing about ebikes. I was able to rent an ebike from Mikes Electric Bikes in Stillwater (also highly recommended) to test ride a Rad Power ebike on my potential route, and Mike recommended that if I were to go through with my plan to buy an ebike, I should have Jeff from Velofix build it after being shipped from Seattle. Pretty early into the process of evaluating various ebike options, I gave Jeff a call hoping hed be willing to answer a question or two. Jeff was willing to answer EVERY question I had about Rad Power bikes (one of the leading ebike brands in the US) and help me think through a variety of considerations that would ultimately lead me to decide on purchasing a RadCity ebike. Jeff helped me think through the pros and cons of different models that Rad Power offers, connected me with a Facebook group that was very informative, helped me think through strategies to keep the bike secure in my apartment building…you name it, Jeff was able to answer every question I had about this fairly specific, recently evolving industry. Mail is really unreliable at my house, so Jeff suggested I have the bike delivered to a FedEx location in the area so that he could pick it up himself and bring it to my apartment to build it. After the bike experienced some delays during shipment, I really appreciated that Velofix was right on top of scheduling the appt to build the bike as soon as it arrived. The actual appt to build the bike was seamless and I got to learn even more about my new bike as Jeff worked.In case this wasnt already enough information to persuade you if youre on the fence about using Velofix, I reached out to Jeff about a couple of spokes that seemed to be loose in my bike wheel within about a week of riding the bike and Jeff offered to come to my office in Stillwater to do a free adjustment the next day since he would be in the area. This totally blew me away and cemented Velofixs status as a 5 star company in my mind. The bike has been humming along perfectly ever since. Highly recommended. Thank you Jeff and everyone at Velofix for helping me become an early adopter of this awesome new ebike technology! Not sure I would have followed through on my plan if not for all your help.
