Wonderful experience. Picked up a nail in a tire that had a slow leak. Went there, they were busy. Made an appointment & returned. They patched the hole & had me back on the road in less than 30 minutes. Excellent customer service. Nice waiting area where you can observe the repairs being done while working on laptop or other stuff. When needing tire service, this business takes care of you & your car. Plus, flats are repaired for free!!

Today, Saturday September 11, 2021. I went to Pep Boys first to get tires my Sister had found on their website. However, the individual was very unprofessional, unpleasant, tired and stressed. I thanked him and left immediately to Discount Tires.I came to Discount Tires to find tires for my Sisters 2007 Audi that she had been given. I met Matthew and I told him what tires I wanted to purchase.However, my first choice was no longer available. Matthew then, asked me if I wanted to stay with that tire or was I open to looking at other tires that could fit the vehicle. I replied, yes I am. I just want to find the best tires for my Sister’s vehicle. He then told me I could come around the counter and look at the screen which show all tires.But the next one, we looked at wasn’t available. However, Brad was assisting Matthew with the tire search and told him to give me the Continental Tires for the price of the second tire and it was a very nice discount. I also received a military discount as well.Also, Matthew and Brad made me feel valued, very important and my satisfaction was a major concern. Matthew explain the tire package I had purchased to my Sister and I and what the certificate entitled her too.I give Matthew and Brad both 5 stars because of their great customer service, giving me the best deal, and making sure my Sister’s name was on the tire deal paperwork. I’m very glad I came to Discount Tires today they were kind, quick and Matthew even shine the tires and cleaned the Rims. I also give them 4 stars for the cleanliness of the waiting area, the parking lot and the female restroom.Next, my Sister was so happy and excited on having her new tires on her car. DON’T GO HERE!!I have a 2012 Jeep Wrangler, and I took it to this shop to get my tires balanced and aligned. The young kids that were working on my vehicle didn’t tighten my lug nuts or my center cap and my tire flew off my vehicle while I was driving about 50 mph. After an appraisal, they took liability for the incident and paid me for all my repairs.Thank God it wasn’t worse than it was, but I suggest any shop but here to do any tire repairs!!!

The tire tread readings at discount tires are always lower than the other places. 10000 miles ago another discount tire stated that I have only 1 week of tires left. I did go to Costco and also Toyota dealerships and they stated that you have atleast 20000 miles remaining. Yesterday I go for tire rotation they stated that my tire treads are in the 3s and they refused to do tire rotation. I go to Costco after that and they check the treads with an electronic meter and none of my treads were at 3. Just avoid discount tires. They have dubious practices and oversell everything even when you don’t need them

This group of guys are amazing! First and foremost last year during high pandemic time they were the only guys open, thought I was going to have to buy tires but they were able to patch my tire for me and didn’t charge me! Today I had issues with a TPMS sensor, it started to act up then stopped when I was at my appointment for a rotation. Matthew told me to just come back if it started again, as soon as I drove away it came back on. Came back in and they fixed it within 10 minutes. My mom was with me and so impressed we decided to go ahead and get two tires replaced since they would need to be soon. They listened to my driving conditions and then suggested several tires, the guy helping me understood budget was a concern of mine and informed me of the best tire for my buck that would work for me. I will always, always recommend and use these guys for any of my Tire needs. Definitely a customer for life after my two great visits! They are also super fast, while getting my tires rotated another gentleman came in with a blown trailer tire, they had a new one placed on his spare wheel in what felt like five minutes.

I drove two hours to this location because they had my odd-sized tire in stock for a great price, but having been here Id do the drive again for any other tire because the price and customer service was that much better than I expected.

Fantastic service, prices and efficiency. I called New Years Eve and they made me an appointment within 2 hours. I was allowed to stay in my car while they changed my tires so I felt super safe during COVID epidemic. They got me in before my appointment time and it took them maybe 20mins to change my tires. I got a fantastic deal and a coupon for tire alignment. I’m impressed and I would highly recommend.

Attempted to have two back tires mounted, and they refused to do so after waiting for two hours. This includes after giving all tire information over the phone long before even driving an hour out of the way to them.

Garrett was responsible for this amazing experience and I think it was Philip working on my van. These are great guys who know their job and treat people with such care. I would refer to drivers any age to go in for help. I told them what’s was going on with my tires, and I got the unexpected real about them this time, but they helped me above and beyond, and got me on my way.I’ve was introduced to DT by my boss telling me, “you deserved the Discount Tires experience”, in 2014, and I’ve trusted them since to keep me on the road and to have a place to get them aired and service on going.After traveling cross country, the Discount Tires, warranty was covering me, I always felt safe and glad I could pull in in any city to have them checked, and each time I found myself meeting more great DT people over and over.It’s so hard these days to find this level of home town customer service I grew up with, but if you are looking for it too, it is at Discount Tire. A little over a month ago, I was riding around on “maypops.” During January, one tire had completely gone flat. A dear relative had a plug put in it, and I had been coasting on it every since. With the outbreak of COVID, it had probably lasted that long due to God’s grace and less frequent driving.Well, August came, and the car started clearly indicating that I needed tires. I went to a dealership, and the price was too high. I started looking up affordable, new tires, and I saw this. I had been passing the new shop too when I was on 280!Everyone, please give this place a shot. It’s clean, spacious, and inviting. Equally as important, the same tires were much more affordable there than at the dealership, and it didn’t take all day due to the appointment scheduling. Most importantly, the people, including the workers and the store manager, Mr. Jake, were nice. I had a good experience there, and I would recommend Discount Tires to anyone!!!

Was very impressed with the store. Very friendly and helpful. Opened about 5 weeks ago. Ordered tires online and scheduled my appointment. Got to the store and was met with a friendly face. The waiting area is really large and clean. They got to work on my car immediately and had the job done in about 1 hour. Would recommend them without hesitation.

I generally put off going to any sort of car mechanics because my knowledge of car maintenance is limited, I generally feel pressured into up charges, and I never know whether I actually need something or if the mechanic just wants to make a few more bucks. Discount tire is not that place at all. Everyone there was helpful, they are very upfront about the cost, and they had me in and out in less than twenty minutes. Tire buying is never fun, but when you need to, go to Discount Tire.

Honestly if I could give this establishment zero Stars I wouldnt. I would never recommend them to anyone unless they were the right kind of customer. I would never go to this place of business again they seemed to be short-staffed unknowledgeable and overpriced. The representative that I spoke with by the name of Brad was not a helpful sales associate in fact he rather made me feel like I did not belong there. He even took the phone call in the middle of our conversation further letting me know that my business was neither appreciated nor wanted . He told me that I will have to wait 35 to 40 minutes to see if he could even bring my car in and left me to sit in an empty parking lot. So I got on the phone and called Mavis they were absolutely helpful in every way. The price was $145 cheaper and they treated me with dignity and respect. I would not recommend Discount Tire on 280 in Alabama to anything but a junkyard because their service is trash

Great service, truly caring manager and staff. Needed a quick fix for a flat tire. Was about to trade car. They had an excellent condition used tire, practically new. The manager saw one of the rear tires was really bad also. Insisted on doing both for price tiresof one for the price of one. Now I am heading there today to buy a full set for my Honda Accord. The price cant be best or the service!

Purchased two tires from Discount a few months ago and enjoyed the quality and experience, installation was fast and thorough. Last week I had a nail in a tire, I called the store to see how much they would charge, manager told me bring it by in one hour and they replaced fixed it free of charge in no time. I initially thought this was due to me being a recent customer, however the manager politely explained this has been their policy since the 60s. So far very impressed with this company and especially the location. (Sad the coffee is gone but im sure thats due to COVID)

I was in Birmingham taking my father to have surgery. I woke up at the hotel to find I had a flat tire. After making other arrangements to get my father and mother to UAB, I went to Discount Tire to get the tire fixed. Jake told me the tire couldnt be patched and it would take until the afternoon to get the tire I wanted. After explaining my situation, Jake put a used tire on at no charge to me so I could get back to the hospital to be with my father and mother. Jake went out of his way to help me and wouldnt let me pay him for anything. I cant thank him enough for what he did!

Stopped by when they first opened to get my tires checked. The tire pressure sensor kept lighting up on the dash despite how many times I had my tires checked and inflated in recent months. The guy here who checked my tires noted the little caps had broken or were missing from the tire. He just replaced them for free and I was on my way, with no issues since!
