My Husband went to the Front St. Store today for 4 new tires. He had an appointment for 1PM. He dropped it off, was told it would be approx. 2 hrs. He called at 3, was told it would be another 1/2hr. He waited and went at 4, it was still not ready, was told they were still working on it. He was waiting until 4:50.No apology all was given. He paid his $1000. Bill and not even a Thank you. Mike and Kevin were both very rude.

A tire on my vehicle picked up a bolt/nail in the tread late in the day on a Friday and I took it to this location at 5:40 p.m. on a Friday evening (they close at 6:00). They took the vehicle in immediately and did the repair within a few minutes. What could have been a stressful and expensive experience turned into a pleasant and quick trip to the repair shop. I’ve definitely found my new mechanic!!

Waited a a week and a half for parts to come in. Went down today for my appointment and my parts were never even ordered . Could have possibly not been able to get them but no call or anything to inform me to go elsewhere , not impressed

They were very helpful and willing to work with me as a customer. Had purchased previous tires from Sams Club and Sams whats not willing to do anything for the problem that I had. I would definitely use Big E again 4 tires. They also do a great job with oil changes and stuff like that.

It was my child. You quoted $300 each for front strut assembles that sell retail for $150 for Monroe strut assemblies and then $309 for labor to install them. Struts only have 5 nuts and 2?bolts to remove. Please explain these outrageous quotes?

Highly recommend this location! I have been to Big E a few times and mostly worked with Jorge who is a remarkable asset to this business! I had a poor experience dealing with Dylan at the court street location and Jorge apologized when he didn’t need to and went above and beyond to make it right. I will go to any Big E location that Jorge is at from now on. His customer service and knowledge are such an asset to this company. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

I have never found a place that can beat these guys. The service is exceptional friendly and kind but most of all they are honest... They are not just out to make money they are out to keep people safe on the road without robbing the customers.. I will never go anywhere else again. Horrible customer service, at least to us. No one at the front desk and when I asked for help, I was told someone will be there. Then when that “someone” did show up, which was the same person who told me someone will be there.Regardless other people were being tend to, but for some reason, we was ignored. At least now we know not to come here.

Absolutely amazing place to go. This shop is truly a hidden gem when it comes to vehicle service shops. Jorge and Kevin are by far the most transparent most communicative about getting work done on my/your vehicle. Ive been getting my 2016 Honda Civic serviced by them for a few months now. I had a flat tire and originally asked to buy 4 new tires because I figured it would be a good time to. They had told me that I had plenty of tread left on my tires and that the flat on my 1 tire was actually a really easy fix. Instead of focusing on their profits they TRULY prioritize the customers values first. They knew I dont have much money to work with due to Covid and were extremely transparent explaining the situation and allowing me options. I decided not to continue getting the new full set of tires. But just to have an extra spare I actually bought a rim new from Honda since thats the only place I could find one and asked them to out the tire on. I wanted it so i could easily change when I have a flat instead of a lousy donut and them giving me their upmost honesty definitely deserved the business.On top of that, I just had my left head light go out completely and my right one was flickering. I noticed it the night when the 4-5 feet of snow dropped here. I had driven my car down from my house to a different location close by because its difficult getting down the driveway with a lot of snow (let alone the unpredictable 5ft). I had initially called Miller Honda in Vestal to ask if they could look into the issues and let me know how much it would be to fix. Despite having bought my vehicle from them directly in 2016 and previously brining most of my service business to them before Big E Tire opened, they opted in to say they would have to charge a $120 diagnostic fee just to figure out why. I explained that would be tough for me. I originally asked Honda because of the nature of the work (I wasnt sure if this was the type of work Big E Tire does). That was basically the last chance I gave Honda when it comes to working on my vehicle unless its related to a recall etc because of the clear difference in customer service, totally aside from just pricing. I called Big E Tire and they said they could look at why the lights are acting up. They said if it ends up taking more than 30 mins they would ask if I want to pay a diagnostic fee, which they only charge if it takes over an hour. So basically if they couldnt figure it out they said they would ask if I want them to look into it more extensively and pay the diagnostic fee. Most service shops would ran off with it and taken advantage of my lack of wanting to look into the issue myself. Instead, they TRULY VALUE the customer and want customers to come back along with be completely satisfied with the service because that is more valuable. That Im sure makes them happy inside knowing they do the best job they can to fix vehicle issues while minimizing the expenses as much as possible. And it makes customers like myself feel comfortable going to the shop for any issues and want to come back for ALL service work. This truly works out better for Big E Tire in the long run financially because now they have my long term business and will make money on my service across years rather than just 1 time if I was misled into spending unnecessary money. This literally is the epitome of a gold nugget when it comes to service shops, especially in this area. I have NEVER found a shop like this in my years of owning a vehicle. I appreciate all of the assistance more than you guys know. Being able to have complete peace of mind that my vehicle will be taken care of the best way possible whenever it has issues allows me to worry about other things in my life that I need to be on top of . It helps out a lot. This shop deserved a genuine review based on my recent experiences. ON TOP of that, they had me in and out in 45 mins when my lights didnt work. It only cost me 39 dollars!!!! The light ports were only bent a little, they straightened em up and replaced the bulbs. Thank you!!!!!

I got a flat tire on the highway on my way back to NC I pulled in right when they opened, they got me in ASAP, ordered a tire from their affiliate and got me back on the road quickly. The whole staff was very kind and friendly. Thank you!

Great staff! Great service! I will always take my vehicles here for work. I had a flat on one of my vehicle and drove in and they had it changed in less then 1 hour. Ive had to much work to mention on another vehicle but the service experience was incredible. I was texted pictures of my vehicle through the process, and the tried to get me the best price on parts they could. Very reasonable with labor as well. I find it hard to trust a mechanic shop but this one seems like the real deal

Best place to go on front street (living here 21 years). Everyone I know goes there and I’ve never once heard of bad service. The mechanics are quick, and the guys at the desk are extremely nice. I have a oil change and inspection done in 25 minutes.

I have a 2009 Hyundai Sonata with the check engine light on. I needed to get it inspected and thought changing a sensor would fix the problem. Getting that check engine light to go off was literally a nightmare for me and all the guys at Big E. Everything imaginable was replaced but that light kept coming on. I put a lot if money into trying to fix it but Big E wrote off more than I spent replacing most of the parts without charging me a dime. The only thing I really paid for was a fuel pump and labor. They have been super nice and replaced sensors, hoses, and had to reseal the pump a couple of times without charging me anything. I cant say enough good things about the guys working there. They really kept working hard to figure out the problem and saved me a bunch of money. My boyfriend and I will continue to be customers.
