The store is much cleaner and smells clean compared to Spring 2020.Cashier very polite and courteous. Big beautiful smile. If she had a cellphone I wouldnt know. Because she wasnt on one while we were in her line.Unfortunately the stores prices are outrageous. Not much of a variety when it came to Cat food or litter.

The store manager is SUPER NICE and the employees are very friendly. Food Giant is my primary place to buy meat. They have the freshest meat and the best meat prices around. Its a good place to stop through if you want to avoid walmart. Yes some foods can cost more, but its worth it to avoid the bigger stores. You can beat their prices, but you cant beat their meat!

A decent little corner store to visit if your not near Walmart or Dollar General. Could be in a better location I suppose but its not bad.

I live in the neighborhood behind this store. The people who work there are friendly and helpful. I enter the store from the back, and because I do, I will only buy things there in an emergency. Here is the reason. These pictures are the back of the store and this is the cleaned-up version of how the back usually looks. Usually for many months there are piles of boxes the length of the store.It is a health hazard and it being outside a grocery store it is even worse. I can imagine how many rodents are in the store and how many pests of all kinds are attracted to this neighborhood because of this nasty mess around a store which sells foods.

Employees are very friendly. The meats are old. I washed it and it was brown and smelly on one side. Although I find really good prices in the morning. There is a clearance section near vegetables isle and I found many food items and others for affordable price. This helped me a lot specially now that Im on a bigger.

I like to support the little guys but it could be run better. Store brand cherry preserves is why I go there. Go thru butchers like crazy , u can tell when they get a good one. U can also tell when he left.

Super friendly staff. Smaller store and easy to navigate. Theres several shelves that are not restocked but overall a few good buys. If you have a desire for the meat on special its a great deal but other prices were higher than Wal-Mart but not by a lot. I was able to get some fresher than Wal-Mart produce and I was happy for that.

I am grateful to have an employee-owned, local market in my neighborhood. i choose to shop here over walmart neighborhood market. the employees are great. the election is pretty limited, and i do wish that this store would get some much needed updates to improve the shopping experience and the conditions for their employees.

I was at food Giant on Irish Hill road on the second cash register towards the door my bill came up to $30.40 I told the young lady I had correct change I took out $40 and I was looking for my silver to give her so she rings up with that myself and I tell the young lady I do have the 40 cents rudely she says I do know how to count change back and she proceeded to talk to her male friend that was next to her register is like I was imposing on her I was treated horrible from her extremely rude cashier

I like food gaint. The prices are very reasonable and has a variety of everything. Food gaint reminds me of an ole fashioned store with so many things to choose from. It has some of the same products that my mom used to purchase when I was a little girl thats why I love food gaint. I would have given 5 stars but I took one away because I really dont like the smell of food gaint it could smell a bit fresher.

Have always had nice cashiers and no problems. Today was much different. Donna was extremely rude and out of line. I understand this is a scary and uneasy time for everyone but that’s no reason to act the way she did. She decided to tell me that I should “know better” about shopping at a time like this, and proceeded to tell me she didn’t want to get sick because she had a disease. Well ma’am I’m sorry, no one is making you work here. Just because you’re mad that you’re at work doesn’t give you the right to take it out on people who HAVE to buy groceries. Trust me, if there was a way I could get food for my family without seeing you, I would definitely do it.

This place right here...something definitely died in the store, hold your breath you will. They are the price gouging GIANT, hope you got some deep pockets and they dont smile while they taking it from ya. Go to the Marketplace thingy, Im not a fan of Walmart but when picking your poison, Walmart bites less.

Amazing people, but fruits and veggies are always rotten and there milk/heavy cream cartons are always swollen from getting too hot. Love the management and employees never have a hard time and is always accommodated with hospitality but I wish the food itself was in better quality, as soon as its fixed my review will change and be updated.

Even before I started working here I loved this place. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Jonathan, dont you think your review was even a little unfair? You might have came at a bad time, WU might have been down or something. Every store has problems. Ill tell ya this though. Our manager is the most amazing boss Ive ever had. I have seen that man down on the floor cleaning. There is nothing he asks of us that he doesnt do himself. So, before you go off getting mad because something didnt work the way you wanted it to, maybe you should stop and take a look around and see whats really in front of you, and not just what you want to see. I hope I work here for a very long time. Its like a family here.

This place is a grocery store that has item for a reasonable price the environment is really clean and is very organized my first time shopping here was a maybe a few weeks a month ago now the pace of their service is really fast.

I go to this grocery every day. The staff is always friendly. Theyre always running manager specials and the meat department to me has the best prices.

Decent grocery store

There was a man cashier that use to be there and he really made a difference as to if I came there or not. I think his name may of been Warren ? Cant really remember. I do remember he had a tattoo on his neck I believe that he kept cover with a Band-Aids. Anyway I havent seen him there for a while and it rally shows in the store. He was so great with all the customers. Outstanding customer service. You all should find him and pay him what ever he wants. All of you could learn something from him.

The hours arent as great and because it is employee owned prices can be high and offer very little labeled item. Im not a fan of their meat but supposedly because butchers meat is local the prices are cheaper the Winn Dixie but still find Winn Dixies Meat is better.

Food Giant is a great hometown , Employee owned local grocery . They have great sales every week and an excellent meat 🥩department, Western Union and change machine to cash in change 👍🏼 and the only 50 cent coke machine 👌

This is a small supermarket in a needed area. It has a small but decent variety of items and the prices are reasonable. The cashiers are polite and friendly. I would prefer that the parking lot be better lit but I found out during daytime that the police station is literally across the street.

I give the Food Giant four stars for its super customer service! No store comes close to this staff. They have reasonable prices, a good selection of meat, and basic staple items.They have recently resurfaced the parking lot and acquired new shopping baskets. I think a new updated store front would certainly add curb appeal and make for a more inviting entrance to match the kind and friendly faces that await the patrons upon their arrival into the store.

Need 1-1/2 T-bone steaks where the butcher know the difference between good enough and F#^#king Awesome!!! 14.99 steaks for 5.99... DO IT!

Very small, neighborhood grocery store. I go here often for the convenience and I like many of the staff. Prices are acceptable for the convenience it provides me but selection is pretty small.

Butcher Dept is great. Customcuts as you like. Keep an eye on the sales.
