We have been going to this place for 22 years when we visit Billings, MT. I cannot say enough positive things about the staff and the interesting items in the place. The owner, Eddie always remembers us and chats with us every time we see him. Low pressure to buy and some really interesting things they have stocked. One of the few retail stores remaining that is actually a pleasure to visit.

Just got off the phone with Zack.. I gotta tell ya, he made a big impression on me. I ordered a high end knife (and it came fast) but there was a small issue with the one I ordered, and the one I received. After a sincere and honest explanation as to what happened a price reduction or a shipping label to return for full refund was talked about. This wasn’t a two way negotiation, it was offered instantly. I was so impressed that I had to log right on to leave a review. I had Zack on speaker phone and my wife commented ‘what a nice guy’, right after I hung up. Although I live in Boston, I will 100% be ordering from these guys again....well played Zack!!

This store has just about everything military from clothing , footwear, TA 50 supplies uniforms and a great selection of knives. The lady and man are super nice. I bought a Gerber Strong-arm coyote tan knife with sheath for a price thats around the online shopping prices. They do carry foreign military stuff as well, uniforms etc...

Solved all of my pants issues. I needed black military pants and i had a hard time finding a pair (im female & curvy) ARMY SURPLUS had what i needed! The shop dog was a plus shes adorable. They have a nice selection of new & used gear.

I am absolutely amazed at the amount of stuff thats available in this store. I didnt think anybody in Billings carried much Army Surplus is this store carried and most of this is all new stuff its not the Army Surplus its brand new Chinese stuff. I havent searched for weeks for a nice warm half with fuzzy ear flaps and I went in there and immediately I found one within 10 minutes. It wasnt the right size then went back the next day and he just took that one back and exchanged it nothing no questions asked. Amazing.

I ordered a rare find of size 11 Bunny Boots online. Quick delivery, I was a little worried when I saw the cardboard box packing job and they say its what inside that counts. My order of used boots were in much better condition than I anticipated. Very satisfied with my purchase they fit great and are super warm.

This place is always a good place to find good quality boots and camping gear. My uncle and I found some really cool things in here, but you have to search and sift through alot of things to find what you are looking for. The place looks a little rough around the edges, but the guys that run the place are really cool and funny.

Great supply of older military equipment. To me it was better for memorabilia and collectibles then equipment for work and outdoor activities. I suspect its harder to get stock today than before internet sales.

I ordered a product was sent wronge one. Called them let them know they had mailed me the right one in just 2 days friendly fast and major courtesy the prices are among the best i would recommend them above most

The quality and selection of products is outstanding, the folks that work there are just awesome, and they always have what I need... and some things I did not know I needed. You can sometimes even find some sale items that are absolute steals. A huge store, with a massive selection, and some fantastic people to chat with... what else do you need?

Only went in for their Tru-Spec pants. The prices for everything else in the store seems to indicate that they are very proud of the used surplus they carry.

Billings Army Navy Surplus is a real landmark and a must if you love military and outdoor gear, they also have a cool dog hanging out in the shop.

The most overpriced and disorganized surplus store Ive been in the whole country! Staff followed me around the whole time treating me as a thief! Very displeased with my whole experience. Its a shame this is all we have after losing the one on Grand that was ran by nice, organized and well educated people.
