Seasonal items are to the right. Regular everyday household items are on the shelves in the aisles in the center. You can get some clothes like t-shirts as well. Housewares, pet and bird feeder supplies. Some good prices, some like everywhere else. Its hit or miss really, but they have some good finds. I went in looking for a sun visor. They didnt have any. 😩 Customer service is pretty good. Lots of parking. No AC in the building. That should be a priority to fix for the employees.

There is always a variety of things to browser through, especially the food. I bought so many snacks from different countries, I love it.

Be aware, they sell REFURBISHED electronics and thats why they are cheap. Also, I bought an item, when I found the quality is bad and it becomes to be a defect they refused to return it. Customer service is not what’s expected and you have to pay attention when you are buying from them. They were joking and laughing in my back and that was so frustrating.

Ocean State job lots has everything I want when I go there. And a lot of things I cant pass up. Great store!

Excellent selection of job lot merchandise, reasonably priced. Keep shopping here for excellent bargains. Staff is also friendly and helpful.

They always work hard to keep the specialty foods section well stocked and they answer customers questions as best they can on the phone. They follow safe distancing and wipe everything down between customers. The workers are all in a tough & scary position but they remain pleasant, helpful & cheerful through this tough time. Thanks folks.

There were 5-6 people standing in line waiting to check out. There was a page for Lanna to come to her register. Since we are all starting down the aisle and cant see when she put her light on. So we all continued to wait. When I was next in line, I could the see her light was on. I went over to her. She was rude. Not impressed with her job performance.

I go there at least once a week and always find good deals yesterday I took in $40:00 of rolled coins exchanged for a gift card and they gave me a crazy gift card for $16:00 .Everyone there is so helpful.

Store is organized and prices are great. Staff is friendly and helpful*.*For the manager: the woman you had stocking the food section on 7/6/19 around 2pm was extremely rude. Made fun of my accent (to my face). Told me to find the item myself. (I asked for bottled water). Couldn’t find it and came back and said “there’s only seltzer”. She told me that I’d have to “deal with it because they don’t have bottled water”.An employee like that is going to bring down the quality of this otherwise great store.

Update. Added one more star.. I see they have dirt cheap aluminum pans, you name the kind and they have it. I go alot as my lady friend likes it and some of their cookies are good. Staff is always friendly and helpful to me.

Workers are always asking if you need help, they run great bargains when you become a rewards member. They also have a program where if you purchase certain items for one price you will receive what they call crazy bucks and that depends on the item, but you basically receive money back to spend on something else another visit. Which can be really helpful.

We like this place, but my one complaint is that most all of their merchandise is made in China. I look for made in USA products. You will most likely leave this place with things you dont really need. But they have everything.

Cheap stuff and crazy deals! Surprising variety of quality organic shelf foods. Good place to look for random odds and ends, kitchen wares, hardware, soaps, linens, bedding, garden supplies, office supplies, clothing. Its unusual for me to visit without coming back with more than Id planned on getting for less than I expected to pay.

This place is amazing. Everything you could think of. I purposely went there for a sled my toddler could use this winter and Ill definitely be going back regularly.

I always seem to find a few great deals on items Im looking for at Ocean State. The inventory changes frequently and I never know what new stock awaits me when Im shopping in the area. This time it was totes , in 2 sizes , that I found for a couple of dollars less than the super store nearby.

Recently opened store in the huge New England chain of discounted goods stores. This was a Shaws supermarket before it closed.This location is very clean and well laid out. Not as big as some locations. Plenty of parking.

My first trip to Ocean State in Biddeford- and I really had a fine shopping spree. Its a well organized store, clean and lots of great dog and cat stuff. My only real issue with this chain is the scattered location for like products. It always seems that I can find a phone charger at the front, in the rear and around the corner. (Just an example!!) Id have an easier time spending my $$$ if everything was together on a certain endcap! All in all , the prices are really good and the insider deals are unreal! Get a card!! It costs nothing, and they have weekly specials.....

Well its a store that has merchandise thats been returned oh, so you get a good deal on it. It is odds-and-ends though oh, so dont expect to go and find everything you need

The company sells clothing but does not allow you to try anything on. Spoke to a manager asked that an employee stand outside the bathroom to allow clothing to be tried on as Im not one to drop over 50$ on clothing without being able to try it on. A return policy does nothing if youre driving through. The store is not willing to accommodate people. Must not need to make sales to stay in business. The management is a joke. The store needs to reevaluate their customer service and policies. I will never shop here again. Their loss, as I am a shopaholic.

Not a bad store if youre looking for a deal. I prefer it to Walmart.

Lots of great stuff here. Went in looking for nautical and tiki theme items for my tiki bar, couldnt really find anything but, having said that, they do have great deals, great selection. The place looks taken care of also.

Its not a bad store but not a place that Id shop regularly myself personally. Its like a step up from Mardens. There is nothing offered here any different than Big lots for instance which is 1 minute north up the road other than more selection for lawn and garden material. Will say it is much cleaner than Mardens which is always nice for me. No huge furniture selection like Big Lots offers. No furniture actually. They do have some closeout clothes which Big Lots does not offer which is convenient. Overall, its nice to have another store as an option to shop at though which is clean.

Went in on a whim while looking for patio furniture. Didnt have what i wanted but found other items I needed for less then a the supermarket.

The one I visited seemed to be lacking on supplies and looked run down even though they have not been open for that long. I was able to find a comforter and pillows but they didnt seem to have any nice sets. I also was looking for some other things that you would expect to be in stock and I did call ahead and ask if they had them before hand.

Oh yeah this one us to small ,the one in,awww over by the gambling hotel anyway that one has awesome selections when I have to tear myself away from a store ,then its a good one everything grabbing my attention
