Excellent staff and very professional. They do great work on your vehicle in a timely manner. The only place I will let work on my car.

Aking a knocking noise and I needed to get it looked at. I just recently moved to the San Diego area, and I havent established a go-to mechanic yet, so I turned to Yelp. Value Auto Repair had so many great reviews, I had to check it out for myself and let me just say, they exceeded all expectations. They ended up replacing one of my control arms which was causing the knocking, kept us updated by sending pictures of the parts, gave us a loaner car so we did not go without a vehicle, and fit us in last minute to his very busy shop. When we came to pick up the car, he remembered us like we were long-time customers even tho we only met briefly the day before, and he allowed us to test drive the car to make sure we were satisfied with the work. At a great price, I might add.But his customer service did not stop there, he made a couple of recommendations to us based on what he saw while inspecting the car, but one stuck out to us the most. My Sentra has been stalling at red lights and hard stops for YEARS. A problem I have easily spent hundreds of dollars towards with various mechanics who could never pin point the issue. That is, until we met Alex. He noticed there was a huge hole in our engine throttle tube that was causing my car to shut off because not enough oxygen was getting pushed to the engine. Not only that, he recommended that we purchase the piece at autozone or amazon and install it ourselves if we were comfortable enough with car repairs (which thankfully, my fiancé is) which only cost us $20 and my car does not shut off anymore!! Truly an amazing team, he has gained a loyal customer as long as the San Diego area keeps me.The reviews are genuine and you will not find any service like what Alex and his team offers here.
