Thank you CVS!!! I herniated my disc and was in the hospital for almost a week. I was discharged late Thursday night from suburban hospital (suburban hospital you are amazing!!! Thank you for your compassion, patience, competence, care and love for me) without medication. The following Friday morning CVS (Wisconsin Avenue Bethesda location) opened at 8:00 a.m. Because of my injury it was almost impossible for me to go anywhere. My wife went to CVS at 8:00 a.m. and asked if my 6 prescriptions could be expedited because of my pain and because she had to teach a class at 9:00 a.m. She also asked if I needed to be there because there were narcotics that were prescribed. Thank God, I did not have to show up. My wife spoke to a young man there who immediately took charge of her request and filled all of my prescriptions right away. I was in a tremendous amount of pain but because CVS expedited my prescriptions I was able to get them in my system which provided me with so much needed relief. Thank you to the TEAM that was working at 8:00 a.m. September 23rd Thursday. I will always be grateful. Thank you CVS!!!

Truly should have a zero star option. I am used to very poor customer service at these types of chain pharmacies, but CVS Wisconsin staff takes the absolute cake for worst pharmacy staff Ive ever interacted with. I was on hold for an hour, so I decided to take a 20 minute stroll to the actual pharmacy and see what that looks like. Must be busy, right? Not at all. Two people waiting, six staff standing around talking. I just stood there taking it in. 5 pharmacy calls, 5 pharmacy calls, 5 pharmacy calls the phones were trying to get them to answer, but they completely ignored them, which is why my call hadnt been answered in 1 hours and 20 minutes by that time. I had been told about 200 times by the automated system that I could just walk in for my COVID vaccine. I saw the woman who gives vaccines in the back talking, and they said no, I have to go online to register for a time, but their location doesnt even show up online, which I guess is why they had so much free time to stand around and ignore the phones. Overall, a consistently terrible experience here, and there is no pressure for excellence in this space. They are honestly so jaded that nothing matters anymore. Do yourself a favor and avoid the Wisconsin Ave CVS like the plague.

I had a Rx sent here yesterday and learned that this pharmacy does not pick up their phone. I was on hold for 15 minutes before I gave up. When I arrived, the pharmacists phone was ringing off the hook and he said that as a matter of course they never answer the phone. He also said they wouldnt fill a Rx the same day they receive it. While I appreciate his candor, I hope that anyone considering getting a Rx sent here can also benefit from it before they waste an entire day of their life, and lose out on getting medicine more consequential than mine was.

NEVER fill prescriptions here! I’m going on day 5 and they are so incompetent they cannot fill the correct one. I showed up after waiting and waiting for a call, to find out they filled a gel instead of drops. I mean, this is a disaster at its finest! Not filling proper prescriptions - isn’t this dangerous? If you need anything in a timely manner, and filled correctly, go to a Giant pharmacy or someplace other than this CVS.

I was in dire need of a prescription and was trying to get it transferred to Walgreens because CVS isn’t compatible with my insurance and it took DAYS to get it worked out. Their phones were always busy; I was on hold for hours!! When I got through to the front desk I was told that they would call me back… never heard from them. Staff were rude over the phone and unhelpful. Extremely disappointed with this CVS location. Being busy isn’t an excuse for bad service.

Run away. Multiple times pharmacy just picks up line & hangs up after holding for them 20 minutes. Prior to transferring/calling-in prescriptions everything is no problem, afterwards when you actually need the meds, no dice. After theyve provided their misinformation they referred me to the corporate/CVS.com folks to see if they could fix anything. Short answer: No, but wait for hours on hold and suffer a couple of additional rounds of misinformation before getting there. Zero stars

Great people work there. Really helped me twice. I am not a regular customer. One time the young Asian man helped me a lot on photograph section, saved me money. The other time this CVS Pharmacy manager took notes of my contact info and call me back for available COVID Vaccine opportunity. I have called many locations around Bethesda area, he is the only one really willing and offering help.

This store has a parking lot. That is the only positive thing I can say about the pharmacy. The store itself is 24 hours and orderly. However, the pharmacy is always understaffed, has limited and terrible hours for anyone working or sick on a weekend . They can’t find prescriptions in the baskets and just refill them instead of getting organized . I’ve received generic when brand was specifically listed and then had to wait the full two hours to get it corrected. This pharmacy caused other small and helpful pharmacies to go out of business and then proceeded to deliver terrible service. The employees are nice , just overwhelmed, overworked and understaffed .

I just stood waiting for a long time while one person looked through an enormous pile of prescription bags with no organization for the person ahead of me. There were six people behind the counter but no one could even talk to me. When I asked to talk to someone they just told me to stand in a different line. That place is completely disorganized and unprofessional and irresponsible.

The employees here were amazing. My wife needed to get the COVID test done to fly the other day, and of course United Airlines didn’t want to let her through the ticketing gate because they needed to see the date that the test came back negative, and the paper she had only displayed the date she took the test (which was only 1 day prior). The pharmacist (Emad) took about 20 minutes to help me with the CVS app to find the paper with the date, and since that wasn’t enough for United Airlines, Melissa helped me pull physical paperwork to scan over to them. Altogether, they probably took 40 minutes out of their days to help me, and it got my wife on the flight just in time. Thanks so much for your help guys!!

Christine the pharmacy manager, should NOT be the pharmacy manager nor pharmacist. I travel up & down from New Jersey to North Carolina to see specialist because i have two rare kidney diseases, on top of chronic kidney diseases. With that being said, i was outright called a “RED FLAG, and a DRUG seeker” loudly in front of employees, as well as the line full of customers. Im a pharmacist intern, and I know what needs to said, and how you say certain things. It’s already embarrassing enough being 26 years old and having chronic kidney disease, polycystic kidney disease & medullary sponge kidney. I’m 26 and need a double kidney transplant, and it’s a struggle everyday and to be called hurtful names like this... this is the exact reason why i suffered for a year in pain because of judgment..

Worst customer service of any pharmacy Ive visited. Had a covid vaccine appointment. When I arrived, I was told there were no more doses available. The pharmacist was argumentative and made no attempt to rectify the situation. I was not put on a wait list for the following day or even the following week. He simply said I should just reschedule online and had no empathy with how difficult it was to get the appointment in the first place. Rude and obnoxious. I will make every attempt never to use this pharmacy again and advise others to do the same.

We just arrived to the city and we dont own a car, they told us before that it was OK to do the drive thru Covid test without a car but when we were a there, literally in front on the window ready they told us that we couldt take it if were not sitting in a car. Nonsense Bureaucracy and lack of ability to solve problems. (We after tried an Uber but he rejected to do it because of the line...)

Stay away from this pharmacy if you have other choices. I asked a staff a simple question, but it took him forever to search for the information. Worse, he suddenly left to serve other customers who were complaining about the slowness without saying anything to me. It turned he had to ask a senior staff for help, but come on, just tell me what was happening before leaving. The other staff took as much time as the first one and finally gave me an answer. But he said it would take another hour to fill the prescription even though they had it available. I asked for my prescription back and went straight to Harris Teeter nearby. And OMG, it was a completely different experience. By the way, I saw some comments about the CVS not answering the phone. I was at the store waiting and during that time, they ignored several phone calls!

Easy in and out trips, one of my favorite places to frequent since it’s so close to everything. However, the self checkout lines can be a pain as some of them tend to have issues taking Apple Pay. Also, the prices on some items are ridiculously high - but again, it’s worth it if you want to avoid the super crowded grocery stores. It has the essentials in there.

Single worst CVS pharmacy Ive ever been to. Theyve messed up my Rx TWICE in the last six months and given me the completely wrong dosage. The couple of times Ive tried to call on the phone to get a question answered, it either rings out or someone completely unhelpful answers.

I scheduled a flu shot and they apparently ran out of it. They stated they called me which they did not. I showed them my phone and without any calls and they said well now it doesn’t matter since we are out. Moral of the story — their pharmacist and minute clinic staff are untrustworthy, dismissive, and deceitful with your health and medications.

They were great but recently the basics have gone out of the window. I have called four times to transfer a prescription to a different pharmacy. The first time someone answered after 15 mins, asked to put me on hold again and then after 5 more minutes, the call disconnected. I have now called another 4 times and after being on hold for approximately 15 minutes each time the call disconnects. There is no viable way to get in touch with the pharmacy without physically going in. This is insane in the times of COVID to not have a working system for patients. If there was another way (through the website or the app) I would have done it, but when someone actually needs help from the pharmacy, dont count on it!

Pharmacy staff, at 9:40 am, Thursday, Oct. 28, 2020, were extremely rude and unhelpful. I pointed out on the CVS app how they had said I needed to contact them to fill out a prescription; also showed them I had called four times the day before for a total of 45 minutes on hold - to which he said: We have been busy.Then, the woman proceeded to say they dont have it. I asked what I was supposed to do since the provider had sent the prescription here: What do you want me to say?, she said. You should go somewhere else.

This pharmacy does not answer the telephone. I called the number 4 times this week. 1st time. I was on hold for 21 minutes after which I was disconnected. 2nd time I was put on hold for 24 minutes, and I gave up. 3rd time I was put on hold for 18 minutes after which I was disconnected. 4th time I was on hold for 30 minutes and I gave up.

CVS MinuteClinic:I come here for flu shots and most recently, a DPT vaccine booster. I got my first shot from Patty in 2016 and as someone terrified of needles and getting shots, will continue to go to Patty for all my future shots. She understood I was nervous and was very calming. Most importantly, she uses techniques that make the shots painless. Patty is the best!

I initially came in for a money order, only to be told they dont have money orders anymore. Once the cashier told me that, I noticed boxes of masks, gloves, and a can of microban behind her so I asked for the can of disinfectant spray. She then replied, you cant have it, its on HOLD for someone whos coming later to pick it up. Now, Ive shopped in many different CVS across the U.S. Ive NEVER known them to hold items, especially things such as disinfectant spray / wipes ESPECIALLY in the middle of a pandemic. Im still baffled!

I rarely write reviews, but I had to write this one. This is the ABSOLUTE WORST PHARMACY I’ve ever been to in my entire life! The level of incompetence of the young black pharmacist and her staff is unbelievable. She’s rude, impertinent, lacks professionalism and has an attitude. I just asked a question about my prescription and she refused to answer my question and was very condescending. No customer deserves to be treated this way. In fact, I told her there is no need to be rude and she said “BYEEEEEEEEE” instead of apologizing for her unacceptable demeanor. I will never be going to that pharmacy again! Do yourself a favor and avoid that location at all costs!

I have never written a review about a pharmacy but after the treatment I received today, here goes nothing....Each month, I refill prescriptions for my minor son and have never had any problems. Today however, I was told by the assistant that one of his prescriptions wouldnt be available until some time at the end of the week. When I asked for a specific day, I was told they couldnt answer that. When I asked if another pharmacy would be able to fill it, I was told they dont have to ability to communicate with other CVS pharmacies. At that point I asked to speak to a mgr. for a date I could expect the medicine to be available. Once Mai (the pharmacist?) arrived to the window she was extremely dismissive, refused to give me an approximate date the medicine would be available, accused me of not listening to her and even told me to repeat her answer back to her (as if I was a 5 y/o child). When I asked Mai why she was acting like this (I am a regular customer w/ questions about prescribed medications ) she accused me again of not listening to her and refused to fill either of our prescriptions.I have never been treated by a store employee in such an aggressive manner. Mais attitude lacked basic professionalism and should be corrected immediately.We have been customers of this store for years but will no longer frequent this location due to this horrific experience.

They have a great selection, self-checkout, and an actual beauty consultant, Justin, who gives great advice on skin care and products. They even have samples. Definitely wasnt expecting this from a CVS. Ive also started using the Minute Clinic instead of my general practitioner for minor health care needs (like cold/flu, strep tests). Definitely more convenient and quicker.

This review is for the PHOTO department. Side note, I usually dont shop at CVS because there are other affordable alternatives but, needed a passport photo ASAP. One of the cashiers was able to promptly assist me, and I was in and out within 5 mins. She even kindly told me where to find a $2 coupon which I absolutely used. Thank you so much!

This review is for the pharmacy and specifically for Mai. She is the pharmacist. Yesterday I went to get my prescription filled.A few days before I was at CVS for my antibiotics and CVS insisted the insurance company declined coverage. I told them insurance covers it. Nope they didn’t listen and asked me to contact insurance company. I paid and got my medication then I contacted the insurance company. They said the antibiotics was absolutely covered. The insurance person even did a test submission which went through.Yesterday when I went to get my prescription filled, I told Mai that I was charged and would like my money back. She was extremely rude and said I can get a store credit but not money back. I said No. I was charged erroneously and I won’t accept store credit ( what good is store credit as I was thinking moving my business to another pharmacy). At that point Mai said “ Do not yell at me”. I was shocked as she was yelling and that was a projection of her issues on me. Laughable. Anyways, she is rude, unpleasant, CONDESCENDING, and I am sure incompetent as she had no idea that if the store took my money erroneously, it is illegal not to return the cash. Oh well. She has behaved badly with others as you can see other reviews.

Horrible service by the young black lady with the accent and the big teeth at the pharmacy. Do these people actually go to school for this or are they hiring people off the street. Manager needs to teach them something called don’t treat your customers poorly just because you hate your life. What an embarrassment for CVS. Avoid this pharmacy at all costs.

Wow. The pharmacy staff have 0 idea what they are doing. I don’t know who the manager is over ther, but they are not doing adequate staff training. I have to go there tomorrow because my bf picked up my meds and they did not run it through my insurance. (Yes, I’ve filled there before and NO my insurance hadn’t changed.)I’ve worked in a pharmacy for 7 years until I went back to school. I’ve worked in hospital and family pharmacies. This is just simply laziness, lack of training, and lack of care. Get it together, show some compassion, and do your job. It isn’t that hard. If you don’t like your job, quit.Obvious terrible management.

DO NOT GO HERE. The last 5 times (in 3 months) Ive been here to fill my prescriptions, Ive run into problems. This pharmacy is so poorly managed, inadequately staffed, and disorganized. On multiple occasions, Ive called in my prescriptions and they promise is by X time and when I show up, they tell me they dont even have the medication in stock (not to mention drive through is about as slow a turtle). I truly hope they get it together but I absolutely will not be back here. Theyve wasted too much of my valuable time and I will be filing a formal complaint.

The pharmacist at this branch, Mai Nyugen, is the exclusive reason why my family and I are all transferring our prescriptions to the nearby Harris Teeter.The level of Mai Nyugens rudeness on a customer service basis is enough to warrant a low review, but the fact that her attitude, demeanor, and obvious hate for customers and her job interfering with her duty to safely provide prescriptions and important safety information to patients is the most concerning aspect of this CVS location. I have witnessed Mai Nyugen on several occasions brushing away and dismissing patient questions with her short answers and general obvious disgust to deal with patients. I have had to deal with her attitude on several occasions, but the final straw was when I was given directly conflicting information on my drug from two of her staff in front of her within the span of a few minutes, and her response. Coming from a family of physicians, I truly think this type of behavior would result in a loss of license if seen by the appropriate Maryland regulatory body.

Everytime I am at this CVS pharmacy, I had bad experience. There service is not just bad but they blatantly lie about availability of medicines or vaccines. I was proved correct again in 2021. The pharmacy staff is pathetically helpless in doing their jobs, which would just be sad if they werent rude and disinterested too. Mai Nguyen obviously doesnt know how to talk to customers and look them in the eyes while failing to fill a prescription correctly. Theyve been giving a run around for 2 weeks about having ordered the medicine but obviously lying about it everytime and delaying. Hope CVS takes notice of this good for nothing staff and makes some changes to this store.

Pharmacy is good but slow. Service in the rest of the store is just plain awful. I really, really HATE the automatic checkout machines because they dont work and rob a human of a job. If the pharmacy werent convenient to the J2 bus, I would go somewhere else.

I had a surgery and needed to get prescriptions filled twice in 3 days. Both times I was told it would take 1 hour to get medications ready and I would get text message when it is ready. Both times I had not received any messages. First day, after waiting for a text for 3 hours, I called and learned that it was ready but they did not contact me to let me know. Second time, it was Friday evening. After waiting 3 hours and not receiving any communications from CVS, I called the pharmacy. I was told that Ibuprofen 800 mg prescription for pain management could not be filled because a doctor did not write instruction how to take it on the prescription. A pharmacist said that she called the doctors office and left a message but since it was Friday, she did not expect the doctor to reply before Monday. Therefore I would not get the prescription filled until Monday and the CVS staff cant help in any way.I had to drive back to CVS. I called the doctors office number that was on the prescription, and found that an emergency after hours phone number was listed! the CVS could call to get information that was needed.The pharmasis said that she called but dis not think it would be an emergency!At my request the pharmacist called the office and received the information that was needed right away. It took a minute.Why that was not done in 3 hours, why I was not informed about the difficulty and was waiting?Why I had never received any text messages with updates? I was told that my phone is on the CVS text messaging list and I should get text messages. I was told that another company handles text messages for CVS and I would need to call the company to fix the problem.Disapointing service. May be difficult for a healthy person. It is too diffcult for a patient who may not feel well.Clearly no extra miles for a patient. Staff seems to be nice. Looks like they either overwhelmed or have poor instructions and support.What is the CVS mission and priority?Instructing staff that care for patients should be priority may help CVS to improve services and patient satisfaction.

The person who answers the phone usually does not now how to resolve your question. The fill your prescriptions based on what your insurance says, rather than the doctor. They are rude and could not care less about customer satisfaction and it is impossible to contact anyone who is responsible for handling complaints. Horrible people. Avoid at all cost.

Im a black 17 year old high school student. and i was banned from the store by a man named Shawn who claimed to be the manager, but was really the assistant manager. i was kicked out for ringing a bell and being smart after i was told if i brake it id have to buy it. all i said was why would i brake it. and that was enough to get me banned from a place i go on a daily basses. granted i am a teenager still, so i understand what he might go through with other teenagers, but that doesnt make it ok to just insert your CVS store employment dominance over me.

This is probably the worst CVS location Ive ever had the displeasure of using; unfortunately it is conveniently located next to work. Although I had one positive experience with one single pharmacy employee at this location, on the whole, the pharmacy employees are beyond rude. Recently, they deleted or lost one of my prescriptions, claiming that I had transferred it out of CVS - of course I had done no such thing. When I asked if there was anything they could do since it was clearly an error, the pharmacist/pharmacist assistant gruffly said no and hung up on me. Completely unbelievable.

Medicine was not in stock and still let us to pick it up. The pharmacist tried to find if other CVS has it when I was there, no update after that, then I left. This location has customer service training need, or they simpley hate their jobs.

Every time I go to this CVS they decline my card the first 2 times I swipe it, and it is only at this CVS. At other CVSs and at any other place I swipe my card I have no troubles but when ever I go to this CVS it gets declined and the manager/cashier acts like its my cards fault each time.. After I repeatedly tell them that its their machines fault they will finally swipe it behind the counter and of course it finally works then... Terrible customer services and they need to fix their damn credit card machine.. If I could give them a Zero star rating I would

Worst customer service at a CVS pharmacy I have ever been to. The young woman working the front at the pharmacy was rude and unprofessional. She accused me of changing the quantity of pills on my prescription slip in front of an entire line of people. I tried talking to her and told her my doctor was in the office today and could be reached by phone to ensure the validity of my prescription, but she further accused me of tampering with the date.

Called with a question and was on hold for 10 minutes. A representative picked up, answered the first question of three that I had, then hurriedly put me back on hold. After another few minutes of being on hold, they hung up on me. My complete conversation would have taken about 30 seconds, and they did not have time for it at 2:30 in the afternoon on a Wednesday.

I really dislike that CVS and always reluctant to go again.My car got vandalized while being in the parking lot for only a few minutes.There are absolutely no cameras outside and the employees were not concerned at all.A few people offered to drop me back home but the police officer rescued me .That was the most horrible experience as I just moved in Bethesda!
