Daniella was a big help, my aunt & uncle made my mother responsible for their passed mothers storage unit and my mother was very emotional beforehand and grabbed the wrong set of keys for the unit after providing the correct information, she grinded the lock off the unit with no issue, and provided a new lock for the unit, she was much more helpful than previous management.

I went to extra space storage because to inquire about rates and sizes for some things Ive been thinking about putting in storage and Daniella was such a great help. She was professional and informative and answered all of my questions thoroughly with a smile on her face, it was great customer service and I will definitely be using extra space storage.

My one bedroom apartment furniture was stored in a 2nd floor 10x10 climate controlled unit at this location for just under one year. Ken and his staff are excellent. The facility is extremely clean and easy to access with multiple loading bays available. Ken was also able to recommended a moving and disposal company for my current move (Dudes With a Truck, check them out!), and the experience couldn’t have been better. A+ for this location and the team running it.

I must say, that this Extra Space Storage location that I have checked out before renting here is the cleanest and helpful staff. Andrew, the store manager, was on the phone helping another customer when I walked in. He took the time to acknowledge me and informed me that he will be with me in a few. He was very friendly, welcoming, and took the time and effort to answer all of my questions to make sure the unit I was looking for met my needs. With that, I highly recommend anyone of my family and friends to rent from this location.

This was my first time renting a storage unit and had no idea what to expect. The store manager Brittany is very sweet and helpful. She made me feel comfortable from the minute I walked in the door to gather information. She knows her job well, explained things in easy to understand terms, and was able to answer my questions. The clean and security facility has covered loading areas as well as a dock for larger step up trucks, with convenient access to dollies right at the doors. I would definitely use this facility again and would recommend to family and friends.

My experience with Extra Space Storage in Berkley Heights began 2 years ago. What was suppose to be a 6 month stay, turned into 2 years of needing to change storage units, down size, add a unit here and there, etc. I have always had excellent customer service in person or over the phone. We travel a lot for business and were very appreciative of the Courtesy calls, keeping us up to date with our account and what was going on with our unit/units. Great elevators, loading and unloading areas. Easy access for large moving trucks and personal vehicles. Highly recommend for a stress free and safe place to store belongings.

Ramon and Gabriel were great. They shared useful information in a friendly way for a client which was at their site to sign up for storage in another state. They represent the company very well. And in fact my contacts at this site, a site I am going to use in FL, and in the home office call center have all been favorable. Nice to feel valued across the entire business. If you are in need of a storage unit you will not be disappointed at Extra Space Storage in Berkeley Heights. I moved, and have rented a unit there for the past year and now I am switching to a smaller one. Extra Space Storage is always very clean, you feel your belongings are safe and you are safe too, no matter when you go. All of the units are inside with excellent security. What really makes Extra Space Storage special is Roman and Gabriel, in the office. They are both friendly, professional, helpful and explain every detail to you about leasing a unit, they leave no question unanswered. Both times Roman helped me by figuring out what would work best for me and my needs. I appreciate their consistency, I know I can always count on both Roman and Gabriel. I am not one to write a review, but Extra Space Storage deserves 5 stars and more!

I just endured a disastrous move with a month gap between closings. Of the many service providers we encountered during this process, Roman, Corey, and Extra Storage Space was far and away the most positive experience we had. Both Roman and Corey are very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. I thought we were going to need two units to house our belongings, which grew to three, and eventually four after the POD we rented leaked and damaged many of our things. Roman and Corey helped us solve all of our issues and we felt extremely comfortable leaving our things in their very capable hands. The facility itself is very clean, accessible, and well lit, which was helpful. The prices are very reasonable relative to other local competitors, and we did a bunch of research. I would highly recommend anyone using this service as you will not be disappointed. I would absolutely use Extra Storage Space again, however after this grueling move, I will never move again. Great place to store your Items. They have a terrific management team. You couldnt ask for a better location to store your stuff. Nice facility in a suburban location. Dont have to fight with Route 22 traffic. I have been storing there for nearly a year. Clean, easy access, excellent hours, and climate controlled. I suffered the loss of a parent, and they were very understanding. They suggested a terrific moving company and made the move of my parents possessions into storage a stress free experience.

Fantastic facility, great pricing & easy to navigate. Both Brittney & Laura in the office are not only a total pleasure to speak with, they made the rental process completely easy & seamless. Its really a joy these days having such helpful & friendly office staff to answer any & all questions. They were even kind enough to loan me a skrewdriver during a shelving crisis. Anyone in central NJ needing storage needs, this is a great place. I sold my home a couple of years ago and needed a large storage space. Roman, the manager, was and has been very helpful. The first indication was the front office. Clean and neat and two people to help us and suggest the best solution to our moving/storage problems. We were shown the unit which was easy to get to. The hallways were well lighted and the elevators were smooth and easy. Dropping off or picking up was easy and several doors were available for easy access and egress.Although I didnt see inside any units but mine, everything was clean, neat and well cared for.. No problems were encountered and I would recommend this to anyone.

Definitely recommend. The facility is clean and spacious, elevator is huge and can fit just about anything in it. I have used Extra Storage in Berkeley Heights twice now and would do so again. Roman is super helpful and will make things as easy as possible for you. I had scheduled a Sunday move and even though there was a computer issue he gave me a temporary password to make sure that I could move our stuff that Sunday. Great experience overall!

Wonderful staff! They are friendly and helpful. When I requested a size upgrade, they came to me as a priority the moment a unit opened. Its in a safe area that I feel comfortable being in at any time during the day to access what I need. Great self storage place. Its all climate controlled, well lit, and secure. My wife feels comfortable going there by herself. The managers at Berkeley are very professional and friendly. The facility is well maintained and is very clean. They accept UPS deliveries which is important to me. In summary, Extra Space Storage of Berkeley Heights has exceeded all my expectations.

This facility is great. It’s clean and it’s big. Very good access hours and plenty of wagons to move your items on. There are a lot of security cameras and the lighting is very good. I feel safe here. The staff is very knowledgeable and they went the extra mile to make my storage move a good experience. Although it was busy in the office, they took the time to show me the place and explain how everything works. I am very happy here and have recommended this Extra Space Storage place to my family and friends.

Visited Extra Space for a short term storage unit. Laura was knowledgeable about the units and got me the size unit I needed at a great rate! I recommend this location.***update to this review: Laura misinformed me when I signed up for my unit and told me should would be able to pro-rate my bill since I would be leaving mid-month. I come to find out when I call today, that she can only pro-rate up to 7 days. Absolute misrepresentation to get me to sign up for a unit with them and to give them a 5 star review before you leave. I would have gone elsewhere to a company that was able to do this for me. I will be reaching out to their corporate office. DO NOT use this location.

I cannot say enough about the professionalism, patience, and super treatment from the people at Extra Space Storage. Roman and Gabriel, the two gentlemen I have worked with here, could not have been better during the 16 months I had my items in storage. They were completely professional at every turn, informing me of what was going on and advising me during a few months when I was unfortunately late in my payment. They helped advise me on the best course and were helpful when I got back on track. They helped guide my movers this weekend too when they came to move me out, since they are in New Jersey and I am here in Michigan. I would HIGHLY recommend them for any storage you are doing, big or small. They rock!!

I cant say enough great things about this place and their employees...our company has been renting a few units at this location for over 10 years and I personally have been coming to it for 6 years. I have been there at all hours/days and never felt unsafe! What can I say about the staff other than they are superb! They have always had employees that were great and the new guy, Gabriel is no exception but my go to guy is Roman.He is always there for whatever I needed, bends over backwards and has been so accommodating to our needs. He goes above and beyond at all times and really puts us, the customer first. I work for a Customer Service company and Roman always provides top service! He always has had patience with us with all of our activity but it always there to help us get what we need. I would always recommend this location to anyone because the service and facility is second to none…..The facility is always clean (including the bathroom) and well-lit at all times.
